Jessica Ray, owner and lead florist at Schultz Floral Shop in Valparaiso, Indiana, believes flowers have the power to tell stories, celebrate traditions, and connect people. Substitution Policy
In some instances, our photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated.
Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers and/or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you’ve selected, we will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal value or higher value.
If any design elements are of major importance to your order, please include them in the florist instructions at checkout or contact us to ensure availability.

How will I receive a new bouquet?
Our subscriptions allow you to select a delivery frequency that best suits your needs - either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
How often will I be billed?
You will be billed 5 days before the delivery schedule you select (either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). This is to ensure your florist will have adequate time to prepare your order.
How do I make changes to my subscription plan?
You can call the florist any time before the scheduled delivery or pickup date to make changes to your subscription plan and orders.
Can I pause my subscription plan?
Yes, you can! contact us at (219) 464-3588, let us know the next best delivery date and we’ll pause your subscription.
How do I cancel my subscription plan?
We’d be happy to take care of that for you! Please contact us at (219) 464-3588 and we’ll cancel your subscription right away.

Hi Debra, we’re disappointed to read this review, as it does not reflect the level of care and communication that went into this order.
For prom flowers, we use a detailed written order process that includes customer notes, color preferences, pickup policies, and a final in-person review at pickup. Your order form included requests for jewel tones with lighter blue if possible, lots of greenery, and colors including hot pink, blue, and/or yellow. At pickup, the flowers were presented for inspection, reviewed together, and signed for as accepted and satisfactory.
We also staff additional designers during prom pickups specifically so any requested adjustments can be made before flowers leave the shop. No concerns regarding the flower selection, color palette, or size were raised at pickup, and we truly wish they had been so we could have addressed them in the moment and provided the experience you were hoping for.
While we understand floral preferences are subjective, we do stand behind the quality, freshness, and fulfillment process of this order.

At Schultz Floral, we also hand-deliver all of our floral orders and never outsource to 3rd party apps.

I will also say that I received a dozen roses for my anniversary from Schultz from my husband and they were gorgeous and lasted over a week. We were very happy with those.

|While I understand that substitutions sometimes have to be made due to availability of a particular flower, I was surprised to see Alstroemeria flowers used in place of carnations.
The arrangement was good, but with the above mentioned flower, it changed the overall look. Not a bad look, just not what I expected.

Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist.
Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received
cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone.
Florists that offer same-day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in
their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the
following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field
during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences.
