Hello! I’m Katelyn. I’m glad you’re here. I am the florist and designer behind Little Shop By The Sea. Based in Newport Beach, CA on the Balboa Peninsula, I create airy, seasonal floral designs and store front featuring eco-friendly, plastic free gifts and products. You will see influences in my work of both bohemian California style and the natural organic qualities seen in English gardens. My studio’s goal is to showcase sustainable floral design by using plastic free and foam free floral techniques, composting, and using seasonal blooms. When I’m not working with flowers, I am playing in the garden, hanging out with my kids, wearing glasses and drinking coffee. My passion for plastic free and eco-friendly living is translated into my technique and design within my work. Thank you for exploring what I have to share. In some instances, the florists’ photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated. Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you've selected, the local florist will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal or higher value.
Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist. Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone. Florists that offer same day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences. Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in advance.
