About the Shop
Hello! I’m Katelyn.
I’m glad you’re here. I am the florist and designer behind Little Shop By The Sea. Based in Newport Beach, CA on the Balboa Peninsula, I create airy, seasonal floral designs and store front featuring eco-friendly, plastic free gifts and products. You will see influences in my work of both bohemian California style and the natural organic qualities seen in English gardens. My studio’s goal is to showcase sustainable floral design by using plastic free and foam free floral techniques, composting, and using seasonal blooms.
When I’m not working with flowers, I am playing in the garden, hanging out with my kids, wearing glasses and drinking coffee. My passion for plastic free and eco-friendly living is translated into my technique and design within my work. Thank you for exploring what I have to share.
