This was my first ONLINE experience with Watanabe Foral and it won’t be my last.
I was hesitant to use this source for my floral needs.
The same efficient service I knew years ago has continued

I guess I thought if I ordered this it would come as a red flower arrangement. I completely understand the substitution policy. It just never occurred to me that I would get white and lavender without a call. They are pretty- I just never would have ordered these unless I could get red:(

The flowers were almost exactly like the picture, and the picture did no justice for the arrangement. The only thing was the delivery person leaving the arrangement in the carport for I don’t know what reason, just wish I got a call saying they were outside with the delivery or even a call saying that they had left the arrangement in carport. Other than that, I got what I expected and then some; great price and a very happy fiancé.

I made an online order of flowers to my classmate in the hospital and within and hour of my order she received her flowers and was very impressed with the flowers. I was extremely satisfied with the fast delivery and I would recommend Watanabe Florals to everyone.

I ordered flowers to be delivered to a patient at QMC who was NOT in the ICU but a regular medical floor. Watanabe Floral called and said when they called QMC prior to delivery, they were told the patient was not able to accept flowers as she was on a unit that would not allow flowers. I explained that was not the case, but they said that's what they were told. They substituted a gift basket with a balloon instead and delivered it same day. When I went to visit my friend, she had flowers that had been delivered by another florist the same day as my gift basket was delivered. I would have preferred flowers, but at least Watanabe substituted a nice gift basket that was delivered promptly. We would have preferred flowers, however!

This is the most beautiful arrangement that I have seen. It is much more profound when you see it for real, I was so impressed! My wife love's, it. Thank you!

My mom received the arrangement but there was no vase. The flowers were in a box. For $59, I thought it would be in some kind of vessel. Otherwise, the arrangement was fine.

Almost called Watanabe but decided to keep the flowers. The roses were clearly fresh and the arrangement lovely. The flowers were in good shape but the peach color was borderline (at best) peach. It was closer to pale brown. I have received in the past peach roses that were much more vibrant.

My best friend loved the roses but unfortunately there was no birthday balloon which I had ordered.

The bouquet was beautiful! It met my expectations.

Placed an order from out state for a next day delivery. Super easy and the quality of the flowers that were delivered were top notch. I received a picture of the arrangement, which looked better than the sample image on the website. Thank you for surpassing my expectations!

I placed my delivery request about one week in advance and requested special instructions for early morning delivery. They attempted to deliver the Birthday ballon, Flowers and Chocolates at 1:30pm, no one was home at that time. They were unable to locate any neighbors to accept delivery, so the delivery was made the next day. We live in Los Angeles and were hoping she would have received the gifts on her Birthday, not the next day. The driver explained that the priorities for early morning delivers were for the big retail stores, like Wal-mart, etc. Very disappointed on the priority given to our special day and our request seemed to be ignored.

I was hesitant to order online and have delivered, as I live in Arkansas and could not see the lei in person. My best friend was vacationing at the Kahala for his birthday and Watanabe delivered a gorgeous lei, balloon, and chocolates and all was fresh and delivered in a timely manner. He was impressed by the beautiful lei and I was happy that it was so stunning, especially for the price! It looked like all your leftover stemmed flowers that was just put together without a thought to balance in height or design. The yellow rose had a longer stem than the other petal flowers and stuck out more. The combination of colors were okay but there were more fillers than flowers. Disappointed.

Some flowers were wilted and about three of them were broken. However, when I called to let them know, they promised that they would send a new bouquet the next day. Looking forward to seeing what it looks like for my daughter’s birthday.

The flowers were beautiful; however, it was delivered to the wrong address.

You delivered flowers for my sister's birthday on 8/6/19. She took a picture of the flowers you delivered and expressed her concern that I paid for he flowers with some of the leaves are dead, look like a week.old. The dead leaves were curling up and crispy dead..i would like you to replace the flowers and deliver, otherwise I will dispute the charges with my bank. Since I live in California with hours difference, I will call you later this morning. This is very insulting to receive nearly dead flowers on my sister's birthday. I will email you the pictures how ridiculous the leaves looked. I can't even imagine as a florist to allow flower arrangement that looked like a week old to be delivered.

Flowers were not delivered on our anniversary. Apparently there was a computer glitch or confusion, and the company failed to deliver flowers or call to correct the delivery. However, Watanabe went out of their way to apologize for the mistake. They not only refunded the flowers, but delivered them the next day and included chocolates and balloons extra. My wife was stunned by the flowers, and we were both surprised they still delivered. Mistakes happen, and I will definitely shop here again after the excellent costumer service they provided.

The arrangement was way smaller than what the photo showed, cost of the arrangement it self was only worth less than $20, I paid close to $100 including delivery charges of $30 to select time. Loss face from sending these sad looking flowers n it definitely didn’t show value.

The flowers itself was very good quality and gorgeous. And delivery time was prompt. But the dog didn’t quite look like the photograph and my friend couldn’t tell that it was a dog. That was the only downside. But I would still order here in the future.

I / we have never been disappointed in any of the arrangements we have ordered the past few years -- we have loved them. However, my daughter finally told me to stop paying for delivery because you cannot get on the Air Force base to deliver them?!!! Really?!! So why am I being charged and not informed of this by a reputable florist?

the only note i wanted to make is if a delivery is going to a business why would this be delivered at the end of the day? yes an option to deliver by a specified time for an additional fee was offered but in my opinion a business should be delivered in the morning or at least by noon. home and hospital deliveries can be delivered any time due to no time constrictions.. i don't know how the arrangement looked because i left at 3 and it didn't get there until almost 330.. mind you i ordered this arrangement almost a whole week in advance..

The flowers are always beautiful and the presentation is flawless! I'm not sure what happened this time around but the flowers were left at another residence, not at my parent's home. Our nurse had to go out and find them at the other house. I've ordered from Watanabe previously so it was a bit surprising that they weren't left at our home. I appreciated the kind gesture when I called to find out where they were because the notification stated they were delivered but we looked all around the home and didn't find them initially.

Oh my goodness, so my brother loves plants and I wanted to get him something nice for his 40th birthday. I searched all over for a place to deliver to him as I'm located in NYC while my brother lives in Honolulu. The big flower companies apparently don't deliver to my brother's area, so I decided to use a local florist and my search found Watanabe Floral! Since this birthday is a special one, I decided to get him an orchid. The example on the website was gorgeous but what was delivered to him was even better! Guess how many flowers were on the orchid? THERE WERE SEVENTEEN BLOOMING FLOWERS ON THIS ORCHID!!! Possibly even more, as I was counting them from the picture my brother took of it! Far exceeded expectations. This orchid is so beautiful. The price was so good too, it looks like it cost at least twice as much as I paid. Thank you for helping me make my brother's day!!!

i called your office and it immediately went to voice recording and was on hold for 5 minutes, then it transferred me to leave a message and that you would return my call as soon as. i never got a call and that really changed my view on your company. I have done business with you for years and i felt disrespected from this experience. If you guys are to busy to answer calls, and talk to a customers. And your communication through recordings and email is how you do business, maybe i need to find a smaller and more friendlier company

This lei is beautiful! It looks exactly like the photo - not all leis shipped to the mainland do. It was very fresh, well made, and delivered on time.

Received an email shortly after placing the order that my order had been delivered. Called and was reassured that the order was not delivered but will be delivered the next day (which they were). Did not receive a tracking number. Leis were not as fresh as I would expect especially when spending close to $300 for them. You can do better Watanabe Floral.

Roses on 'roids. Need a truck. A big one. A really big one. Exactly what I was looking for. Kudos to Watanabe Floral in Honolulu. The little lady smiled with all her might when she saw these. That made it worth it. One tiny problem: now all the other ladies in the office want to marry me.

My Aunt loves animals and was scheduled to be admitted to a nursing care home facility this morning.
I placed the order online for this very cute and unique floral arrangement the evening prior (very convenient!).
This morning, as the nursing facility staff was helping my Aunt get settled in her room, the arrangement was delivered at 9:00 just as I had specifically requested.

Flowers still have not been delivered. Received an email stating you delivered them but my Mom says she never received them. She lives in a secure building and checked with the guards as well. No flowers. This is the 2nd time this has happened - the first time was some years ago.

The color of orchid wasn’t the same as the one displayed. Maybe they should let the client know, in the event they prefer one color over the one sent. Fortunately the orchid they sent agreed with me.

I live on the mainland and wanted to send some flowers to my great aunt who was recently admitted to Maunalani Nurshing and Rehab Center. I browsed several florists online and really liked the design of this arrangement which was ikebana style and very striking. I ordered this via their website at 8:00 am Hawaii time with instructions to text me a photo of the arrangement. The photo matched the picture on the website and I could tell that the flowers were very fresh. The arrangement was delivered a little before noon and i appreciated the email notification of this. My great aunt was very happy with the flowers. Overall, I am very happy with Watanabe florist and especially appreciated that their arrangements were not just the typical generic arrangements that you see on most florist websites.

I am aware that maile leaves are hard to get and cost a lot. The lei that I got was not as full as in your illustration. I would wishthat your illustrations reflected the actual appearance of the product. I am happy with the convenience of ordering on line.

Excellent service , considering my online order was from Michigan to Honolulu , Hawaii to a friend that lives in Honolulu. Flowers looked great and recipient was very pleased with the arrangement. They took extra care in the delivery , in that no one was at home initial to receive the delivery. Sent these flowers to my mom for Mother’s Day, I had to send them a day late but she seemed to love them! I don’t really know the average cost for bouquets outside of Hawaii but they looked lovely in photos. I am going to school in the UK so glad I could send her something while I am away.

The associates I spoke to were very nice. Usually, when my dad ordered the flowers last year, it came in the morning but this time the delivery was so late my mom had left work already. I had scheduled the delivery for May 14th which is my mom's birthday but an attempted delivery was only made at 4:40 pm. Before this at 3:00 pm I had called to check on the order to make sure the delivery was still coming and the person I spoke to said my mom's delivery was spot #8 and would be delivered soon. Unfortunately, my mom did not receive the flowers. However, I spoke to the staff and was able to get a full refund. Although I was upset the flowers weren't delivered, I really appreciate the staff which is why I'm giving 3 stars. Someone reached out to me and explained that half of their delivery people called in sick. When that happens, sometimes it can't be helped and unfortunately my order was affected. The staff really makes me feel heard and I'm very appreciative they were understanding.

It took a while for some one to acknowledge me standing at the counter waiting. Then it took a while to get my order from the back. I was able to take pictures of the Make a Wish Star Wars costumed characters while I waited. Noticed some flowers looked old or withered but the guy said it’s pre made and we are out of that arrangement- so I took it anyway cause I needed it for mother’s day. Mean while at the other counter by the fridge- the customer service counter-where u can order flowers- there were three ladies standing behind the counter talking story. Not helping anyone and couldn’t help me when I went there for help. They just sent me to the will call counter where there was no one there. I understand it’s busy because of Mother’s Day but help out.

I was disappointed when my mother got her flowers. Having paid the money I did I expected what was in the picture (sunflowers and all) but what she got was smaller and looked nothing like the picture (a bunch of small purple flowers, some roses, and a couple of green flowers). I've bought from Watanabe before and I know that they can make amazing arrangements but they really dropped the ball on this one.

I took a chance and bought a boutique for mother’s day and my mom was so excited and couldn’t believe the beauty of the roses. I currently live off island so I ordered this arrangement to be delivered as an anniversary gift to my girlfriend. Upon receiving it, she sent me a picture of her holding the flowers and I noticed that some of the orchids were bent and brown. I’m not usually one to complain, but since I got this as a gift to my girlfriend and spending the extra money for delivery...I expected it to be perfect, with no brown. The arrangement looked pretty just like it was pictured in the example, but just a bit disappointed.

If I were to purchase an item for equal price and notice a few scratches on it, I would definitely return it back, wouldn’t you?

Watanabe Florists have beautiful flowers, in this case, my objective was to send two different flowers for two different occasions/reasons to the same person, this could not be done as, there was only one chance to leave a message, thought there would be two messages, one for each flower. Suggest, we be given a choice to do a message for each flower, when they are sent to the same person on the same day.

This was the first time that I have ordered from Watanabe Florist. I ordered the flowers from Canada to my mom who is 93. The selection, arrangement, delivery and communication was outstanding. Photos from the care givers were sent to me with my mom next to the arrangement. Everyone was thrilled. I would highly recommend Watanabe Florist and will definitely use their services again. Thank you to the employees their for making this experience a joyful one.

Asked them to deliver a bouquet and a lei to our rented condo for our anniversary. It was 5 dollars extra to pick a time frame of one hour, good deal. I choose one, but when we got to Hawaii, things changed and the timeframe no longer worked. I called the shop and asked if I could change it on short notice, no problem! The next day they were delivered smack dab in the middle of the time frame. Everything worked out perfectly, and the flowers were amazing.

The lei that was purchased today did not look like the picture. Leaves looked dead. Not green. Leaves fell out as we took it out to take a look and one side looked bald. I felt bad for my cousin who has to use this for her date to prom. She was very disappointmented. Didn’t want to return to Watanabe to show the product that was purchased so we ended buying somewhere else where it looked more fresh and green.

Hello, I have always had a great experience with you guys and never had issues. But this Valentines I had place an order for the Roses and my Wife received them at the end of her work day. She told me the roses looked like they were rushing while making it. It didn’t seem attracting. I am currently deployed and had to contact your customer service to find out the status on delivery. I’m not disappointed because I understand how busy your business was during Holidays like that but I feel like I’v disappointed my Wife. Sorry I hope I’m not sounding rude. I do appreciate all your team’s hardwork.

The flowers that were delivered did not look like the picture. It was very skimpy and the flowers that were substituted were of way less quality. Per the substitution policy, it should have been of equal or higher value. The roses that are shown in the photo were substituted with what looked like weeds. Very disappointed and now wondering the quality of the flowers that I’ve ordered previously for other people.

Saved my marriage! I had to do something special for my wife and fast, I went online the order form was easy to fill out, they had time to deliver that day. The driver was on site with in the hours as advertised. Watanabe is like the organ donor transplant delivery but for marriages. Get the flowers there before the flowers die, and the couple stops continuing to live.

This review is only meant for the delivery department. Not only did they deliver to the wrong address, but insisted it was the correct address despite someone being home at the time of delivery. Left a voicemail for the driver to call back, no call returned. Watanabe Floral is a great company, but in this particular case, they did a terrible job!!

Watanabe Floral is always top notch! They reached out to me immediately after confirming with the hospital that there was no patient with the last name I provided. The issue was remedied right away and the flower delivery arrived on schedule. I will be a return customer, that’s for sure!

I ordered pink roses but the flowers that received was red. Which was okay if they ran out of flowers. The only problem was I ordered Godiva (8pc) chocolate but the chocolate that received was a Hawaiian Paradise candies (6pc) which I definitely did not order and what I paid for.

Easy to use website, easy to contact and speak with representatives, as I had requested to change the delivery date. No problem at all. Some of the long stem roses still had thorns on them. The non-babies breath white accompaniment was terrible. It dropped buds all over the place. She had to take it all out and throw them away. Not a good experience and not a good value for the monies paid.

Flowers were beautiful as always. Delivery was on time but I ordered a mylar balloon and a card and they did not deliver it together with the flowers. I had to call customer service and let them know. They ended up delivering the card later with 1 extra balloon to make up for it I guess. I feel like the mistake ruined the Valentine's experience for her, as the flowers had nothing on it saying it came from me or my Valentine's message. After the fact was a little too late. I'm not sure an extra balloon makes up for that. A comp would've been nice, or credit for next year.

I just want to thank Ellen (Watanabe Floral's Facebook Admin) for granting my request to re-deliver the flowers for the third time. I know Feb 14 is so busy but somehow the delivery team pulled off my surprise to the love of my life. I live in the Philippines so I know that I'm not gonna able to pick the flowers up if the delivery didn't made it. I also want to thank Mr Pereira for extending the delivery hours for me. But it’s like the movie Big Daddy...... “ we wasted the big surprises you”. Now I know for future reference. Sorry this one was not a favorite of mine, Watanabe is the first place we think of when it comes to flowers. We usually go into the Waipahu location or we go into the Walmarts for the leis and flowers twice a month for graveyard .....but this one came yesterday for my daughter's Anniversary and looked nothing like pictured for 70.00 with tax and delivery it was close to 90 dollars
and It looks larger in the picture and the flowers that came was so disappointing as 1/4 of the flowers were already opened looked nothing like the pictured closed

The flowers were already showing signs of dying and all had brown on them:/ the leafs as well! Very disappointed for the amount of money spent!

The leis were beautiful and worth it! And I usually love Watanabe because of their staff and quality of products....

But I was very disappointed in the delivery. I specifically requested to have it delivered at 4pm because I knew that no one would be at the restaurant and the delivery guy called at 12pm to say he was there and no one was at the restaurant and who does he leave it with. I told him the restaurant wasn't open until 3pm. He said that they could not come back to deliver so we had to ask security to accept it and hold it downstairs.

I have been a long time customer of online Lei orders to Las Vegas. The Hilo Maile was a replacement to Polynesian Maile I ordered. I had to pay for an additional ti leaf Maile to fill it.

The arrangement sat in the BLAZING HOT AFTERNOON SUN For over three hours and by the time it was retrieved the leaves were crispy and the flowers were drooping.

Beautiful flowers. It would have been a much better experience if you had called to see if the recipient was at home before leaving the flowers. She is a partially disabled lady and did not know they had been delivered. They were not in great shape when she found them the next day when I called her.

I honestly didn't think the flowers would arrive so quickly! I placed the order at around 11:30a for delivery and she received them in less 2 hours and absolutely loved them!

I ordered this bouquet and it was smaller than pictured. It didn’t come exactly like this, came in a small square vase not a tall vase like the one pictured. It was still nice but not exactly like the picture

Was a disappointing-We normally use Watanabe because they set the standard-this arrangement looked like it had just been stuffed in the vase, roses were starting to wilt, was more green/filler than flowers.
Both sender & recipient were disappointed. Not at all a normal product from Watanabe.

I have not personally seen the flowers but am sure that it was beautiful. My best review will go to your delivery driver. She was very professional and accommodating when having problems with the delivery. She called me and explained that it was a fenced yard and a dog present. She did not want to leave the flowers in the inside of the fence as the dog might knock it over. We managed to call the recipient and with much patience was able to deliver the flowers as scheduled. I should have gotten her name but please forward my deepest appreciation as she made a special person very happy!!

Recently started buying designers choice, but this recent purchase was disappointed. Designers choice was not worth 20% above $99 value. Last three purchases were spot on and was worth more 20% above value. Might think twice for future purchases from now on. Very disappointed, the package was shipped to the wrong address and was redirected to the correct address. We were relieved when the package arrived just as we were leaving for the graduation however, to our disappointment the flowers were wet (the ice had completely melted), the worst part of it is the leis had a horrible odor, especially the ti leaf lei. We tried to clean and dry them but could not remove the odor. The flower leis (Damien) was crushed and some white petals had fallen off. We were really disappointed that my Granddaughter's graduation could not have been as wonderful as possible.

I didn't expect the floral arrangement to be exactly as illustrated but it was taller and wider thus making it look real sparse. The flowers were spread out and the arrangement looked amateurish.

The arrangement I ordered was delivered and left at the doorstep of the wrong address. My sister did not get it until late in the afternoon when the neighbors got home from work and found it at their home.

I forgot to call in the order until about 2:00 a.m., when I rushed to my computer. It was very easy to place an order, and it was delivered within a few hours, on my brother's birthday! I am so grateful for such fast service!

This is the third incident that I was disappointed with the quality and delivery of Watanabe Florist. Valentine's Day Rose bouquet, which the roses DID NOT "open", delivery was very late, almost closing time of the office. This recent delivery was the same, LATE!!!!! The quality of the flowers were "ok", didn't resemble the pictorial arrangement. Will try another florist.

The flowers were beautiful. The only thing was the ribbon. It was blue which stuck out. It would’ve been nice if it matched the flowers somehow.
