Substitution Policy
In some instances, our photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated.
Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers and/or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you’ve selected, we will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal value or higher value.
If any design elements are of major importance to your order, please include them in the florist instructions at checkout or contact us to ensure availability.
Delivery Policy
At The Flower Spot, we take pride in delivering the freshest, highest-quality floral arrangements to your doorstep. Below are the terms, timelines, and guidelines that govern our delivery services across San Jose and surrounding areas.
Delivery Areas & Fees
Local Boundaries: We deliver throughout San Jose and neighboring cities (e.g., Santa Clara, Milpitas, Campbell, Sunnyvale etc.).
Standard Fees: Local delivery fees start at $9.90 and scale upwards based on the recipient's distance from our shop.
Special Venues: Deliveries to hospitals, funeral homes, corporate offices, and university campuses are fully supported.
Same-Day Delivery Cutoff
Weekday Orders: Place your order by 3:00 PM (PST) Monday through Friday for same-day delivery.
Weekend Orders: Place your order by 1:00 PM (PST) on Saturdays and Sunday.
Direct Delivery Information Requirements
Accurate Data: Customers must provide a complete address, apartment or suite number, gate codes, and the recipient's phone number.
Address Errors: The Flower Spot is not responsible for delayed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete address info.
Recipient Absence & Weather Protocols
Secure Drop-off: If the recipient is absent, we will leave the arrangement in front of the door or a secured porch area.
Re-Delivery Fee: If no safe spot exists or access is gated, we will try to contact the customer or recipient. If a customer or recipient is not reachable and/or a re-delivery is required then an appropriate delivery fee will apply for a second delivery attempt.
Refund Policy
All sales are final. We do not accept returns.
Refunds on a case by case basis, are processed immediately. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.

How will I receive a new bouquet?
Our subscriptions allow you to select a delivery frequency that best suits your needs - either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
How often will I be billed?
You will be billed 5 days before the delivery schedule you select (either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). This is to ensure your florist will have adequate time to prepare your order.
How do I make changes to my subscription plan?
You can call the florist any time before the scheduled delivery or pickup date to make changes to your subscription plan and orders.
Can I pause my subscription plan?
Yes, you can! contact us at (408) 267-7467, let us know the next best delivery date and we’ll pause your subscription.
How do I cancel my subscription plan?
We’d be happy to take care of that for you! Please contact us at (408) 267-7467 and we’ll cancel your subscription right away.

|Where I believe the Flower Spot could have improved was on the quality of the arrangement. I ordered the Premium version of the Purity arrangement and it was not as pictured on the website, in the slightest.
The flowers appeared to be drooping vs up and full as pictured, there is no way the delivered arrangement was 12+ inches in height. The top of the arrangement arrived flat, the longest stems hanging to the side of the vase. The vase did not even include the pictured ribbon. Nothing about the arrangement was the quality I was expecting, especially for having upgraded to premium.
The arrangement was to honor the anniversary date of the passing of a loved one and I could not have been more disappointed in the outcome.
I will not be ordering with the Flower Spot again.

Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist.
Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received
cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone.
Florists that offer same-day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in
their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the
following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field
during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences.
