Substitution Policy
In some instances, our photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated.
Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers and/or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you’ve selected, we will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal value or higher value.
If any design elements are of major importance to your order, please include them in the florist instructions at checkout or contact us to ensure availability.
Delivery Policy
We are proud to offer reliable local flower delivery to ensure your arrangements arrive fresh and on time. Same-day delivery is available for orders placed before our daily cutoff time
Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to traffic, weather, or high order volume during holidays. While we do our best to accommodate specific time requests, we cannot guarantee exact delivery times.
If the recipient is unavailable at the time of delivery, our driver will leave the arrangement in a safe and secure location when possible. We may also leave the order with a neighbor, front desk, or reception area. The customer assumes responsibility once the delivery has been completed.
Please ensure that the delivery address and recipient contact information are accurate. We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete information.
Additional delivery fees may apply for redelivery if no safe location is available or if access to the delivery location is restricted.

I live in Pennsylvania and was sending flowers to someone in North Carolina, so I had to place my order completely based on trust. Ordering from a flower shop I wasn’t familiar with made me a little nervous because I couldn’t see what would actually be delivered.

|I recently ordered a hydrangea plant for my mom in Sunset Beach, NC from The Briar Patch, and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. I live in Fairhaven, MA and usually end up using the big national flower services, but I am often underwhelmed and have had deliveries show up late more than once.
The Briar Patch was the exact opposite experience: they nailed the timing AND the arrangement they delivered went way above and beyond what I expected from the online photo.
My mom was completely blown away by how beautiful and full the hydrangea was and you could tell real care went into how it was put together. It is clear this is a local shop that takes a lot of pride in their work. They have definitely earned my business going forward.
If you are sending flowers in the Sunset Beach area, I would highly recommend giving The Briar Patch your order instead of going through a national service. They truly deserve a huge shout out.

Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist.
Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received
cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone.
Florists that offer same-day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in
their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the
following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field
during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences.
