Sunny Florists
Sunny Florists has been a floral expert in South Boston since opening our doors in 2015. We are your one-stop shop for beautiful fresh flowers and houseplants all-year round. We’re open 7 days per week with delivery available on all 7 days. We’re located on West Broadway, across from the Broadway T Station and Cambria Hotel Boston. Order online, call (857-496-1830) or walk-in to say hello. We can’t wait to meet you! We have some of the freshest and most unique flowers in the Boston area. We get flowers delivered almost daily… from local farms around Massachusetts to growers across Europe, South America, and Canada. You’ll find many beautiful and one-of-a-kind flowers in our South Boston shop. We offer flower arrangements for walk-in or hand-delivery (available in a vase or wrapped), flower subscriptions, corporate floral arrangements, and events (ask us about our succulent party!). If placing your order by 2 pm online or 3pm by phone, we offer same-day delivery for most arrangements around the Boston metro area. We love partnering with our customers to design one-of-a-kind flower arrangements. Our expert floral designers can create elegant timeless bouquets as well as modern and fun arrangements – the design depends on what you like. ABOUT THE OWNER
Sunny
Jing (Sunny) Chu is the owner of Sunny Florists and an award-winning landscape designer, turned florist expert. Sunny’s love of design and flowers started at an early age, thousands of miles away in China. She would spend many hours in her family’s plant and flower nursery or sneak away during cold winters to warm up in their greenhouse. Growing up, Sunny completed many floral design classes (for fun at the time!) in China. In 2011 Sunny moved to Amherst, MA to pursue a master’s degree in landscape design at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. Fast forward to 2013, Sunny graduated from UMass and shortly thereafter, decided to make a career pivot into floristry and focus on her passion for designing beautiful floral arrangements. Today, Sunny has found her home away from home in her South Boston flower shop.

Our subscriptions allow you to select a delivery frequency that best suits your needs - either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
How often will I be billed?
You will be billed 5 days before the delivery schedule you select (either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). This is to ensure your florist will have adequate time to prepare your order.
How do I make changes to my subscription plan?
You can call the florist any time before the scheduled delivery or pickup date to make changes to your subscription plan and orders.
Can I pause my subscription plan?
Yes, you can! contact us at (857) 496-1830, let us know the next best delivery date and we’ll pause your subscription.
How do I cancel my subscription plan?
We’d be happy to take care of that for you! Please contact us at (857) 496-1830 and we’ll cancel your subscription right away.

The arrangement was gorgeous but the website is sneaky in that when you place your order they trick you in to selecting a delivery time. Once you submit your order you can see that selecting a time generates an additional charge. I proceeded with the order anyway. My request was for the order to be delivered by 1pm and was charged $15 extra. The arrangement was delivered after 3pm. Now the shop won't answer my request for a refund of that additional fee.

I ordered the bouquet as pictured on the web. When they sent me a photo of the bouquet they were about to send (greatly appreciated!), it had pinks with yellows, which were not the colors I thought I was ordering. When I explained that I ordered the flowers specifically because my sister liked orange and yellow, they fixed the bouquet to make it as requested. I am not sure why they had shifted from the colors shown on the web in the first place when those colors were available... but I was very happy that they fixed the order promptly. A few things to say about this place. I ordered same day delivery flowers at 12:30 in the afternoon on a Monday and not only did they get there the same day, but four hours later before my girlfriend even got home from work. They look beautiful and the quality was worth the price for sure. They also send you a picture of what they put together in an email before they send it out, I thought that was a nice touch. Couldn't be happier thank you!!

The order didn’t come with any peach color roses, which was disappointing, as it did change the color theme of the bouquet. I wasn’t informed they didn’t have any until I had to call them after seeing the picture they sent me. Would’ve liked them to contact me about the change before it was sent out for delivery. At least the other flowers looked nice.

It's fine that they weren't there however the picture was misleading. If I had known it wasn't apart of the bouquet I probably would have chosen a different bouquet. The photograph I received looks a bit different from the photo on the Bloom Nation website-not sure if it's the angle but the arrangement on the website was in a tall, narrow vase. Otherwise it looks as pictured and is beautiful. It was a gift so I didn't see it myself but the recipient was pleased. I appreciate that it was delivered on a Sunday!

Not living in the Boston area, I chose Sunny Florists because of their great Yelp reviews. I used their easy website page to review my options at different price points. I chose a small fresh floral arrangement to be delivered to my daughter who lives in Southie. Within an hour, I received a considerate email which explained that they needed to substitute one of the flowers from the website photo for something similar. Shortly after that, I received a photo of the completed arrangement - beautiful! Just as pretty as the advertised photo. And within 3 hours of ordering - they delivered the arrangement to my daughter - who loved it! It was the pick-me up she desperately needed that day! What an overall easy, professional and positive experience. I will definitely use Sunny Florists again!

I cannot say enough good things about Sunnys! I had never heard of this florist before someone sent me the most beautiful bouquet this past weekend for Passover. It was so beautiful that I had to immediately buy one for a friend who is marking an important anniversary of being cancer free. I was blown away by how easy it was to use the Sunnys web site. And after I put my order through, I quickly received an email with the actual picture from the florist of what my arrangement looked like that they pulled together right before they delivered it and it was gorgeous. Upon delivering it to my friend, I immediately received a super friendly fun email that it was delivered including with a photo of what my card said to my friend. It was from beginning to end an amazing customer service experience that blew my away and made the experience of flower receiving and giving that much more lovely, and my friend of course loved the arrangement. Last but not least, the arrangement was 3x less expensive than other florists! I have already told many friends and neighbors about Sunnys in the last 24 hours! Since we don't live near the recipient, we took a chance with Sunny Florist to send flowers.
