Whether you're a longtime resident of Amery or just passing through town, we hope you'll take a few minutes to stop in and visit us. As a full-service floral shop, we're here to help with all of life's occasions, from everyday floral needs and special celebrations to sympathy arrangements and wedding flowers. Our shop is also filled with unique gifts, beautiful plants, home décor, and plenty of fun surprises around every corner. One thing you'll quickly discover is that we have a great sense of humor, too! We love watching people wander through the store and suddenly burst out laughing at something they've found. Seeing those smiles and hearing that laughter brings a smile to our faces as well. At Stems from the Heart, we believe shopping should be fun, and we hope every visit leaves you a little happier than when you walked in.
Ed and Anne White are the proud owners of Stems from the Heart. In 2014, they opened the shop with a simple but important goal: to ensure that Amery continued to have a local florist serving its residents. As longtime supporters of the community, they believe in giving back and helping make Amery a wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family. Their passion for serving others is at the heart of everything they do, from keeping a floral shop in town and operating the funeral home to serving on the fire department, participating in the Community Club, and supporting local events and organizations. That same commitment to community is something they value in their team. They believe that having employees who share their passion for helping others is one of the business's greatest strengths. Today, Stems from the Heart is staffed by people who love giving back—not only to the Amery community but to the surrounding areas as well. Whether celebrating life's happiest moments or offering comfort during difficult times, they take pride in helping others and bringing a smile to someone's face whenever they can. Rachel Humpal is the manager of Stems from the Heart. Her passion for flowers began in high school when she learned the art of floral design from the mother of a friend, who owned a flower shop in Luck, Wisconsin. She worked there for many years, gaining valuable experience and developing a deep appreciation for the floral industry. Later, Rachel and her husband briefly owned their own flower shop in Centuria, Wisconsin, before she joined Ed and Anne White at Stems from the Heart. Although she took a short break from the floral industry, she soon found her way back to where she felt she belonged, working alongside Ed and Anne once again. Rachel enjoys continuing to learn and grow in a field that is always changing and evolving. What she loves most is seeing the joy that flowers bring to people's lives. Whether it's the smile on a customer's face, the comfort flowers can provide during a difficult time, or the excitement of a bride who is so thrilled with her wedding flowers that she can't help but give her a hug, those moments remind Rachel why she loves what she does. Alongside Rachel is her team of trusty sidekicks: Jean, Andrea, Pam, Dodie, and Shelley. They play an important role in keeping Stems from the Heart running smoothly every day. From designing beautiful floral arrangements and caring for plants to answering phones, helping customers, processing flowers, and handling the countless behind-the-scenes tasks that keep a flower shop operating, they do it all. Their dedication, hard work, and willingness to jump in wherever they are needed help make Stems from the Heart what it is today. We are incredibly fortunate to have such a talented and caring team, and their commitment to serving our customers and community does not go unnoticed. During our busiest holidays, you'll also find our special helpers, Dennis and Kelly Anderson, Carol LeClair, and Anne Graumann, lending a hand. We simply couldn't make it through the holiday rush without their extra support and dedication. Their willingness to step in and help wherever needed makes a tremendous difference during our busiest times of the year. We are incredibly grateful for everything they do and for the positive attitude they bring to the shop. They truly help make the holidays run more smoothly, and we can never thank them enough for their time, hard work, and commitment to our team. Our previous manager, the wonderful and amazing Mary Potting, retired in January after years of dedicated service. Mary was one of the hardest-working people you could ever meet, and she taught all of us so much during her time at Stems from the Heart. Her love of notes, organization, hot deals, and especially desserts always kept things running smoothly and brought a little extra fun to the workplace. While we miss seeing her every day, we are incredibly grateful for the impact she had on our team and the many lessons she shared with us. Thankfully, retirement hasn't kept her away completely—she still stops by with treats during the holidays, and we always look forward to seeing her. We miss her dearly and wish her nothing but the best in this well-deserved new chapter. Whether you're a longtime resident of Amery or just passing through town, we hope you'll take a few minutes to stop in and visit us. Our shop is filled with unique gifts, beautiful flowers, plants, home décor, and plenty of fun surprises around every corner.
At Stems from the Heart, each arrangement is thoughtfully designed by our floral team. In some instances, photos may represent an overall style or theme and include unique flowers, containers, or design elements that cannot be replicated exactly.
While your arrangement may not look identical to the photo, we will always strive to capture its overall beauty, style, and sentiment. Due to seasonal availability, weather conditions, and market fluctuations, substitutions of flowers, greenery, or containers may occasionally be necessary. When substitutions are required, we carefully select items of equal or greater value while preserving the color palette, design style, and overall feel of the arrangement.
If certain flowers, colors, or design elements are especially important to your order, please note them in the florist instructions at checkout or contact us directly to confirm availability. We are committed to creating a beautiful arrangement that meets your expectations and conveys your heartfelt message.
At Stems from the Heart, we make every effort to contact recipients before attempting delivery. While we do our best to complete deliveries as scheduled, some circumstances are beyond our control. Living in Wisconsin means dealing with a variety of weather conditions throughout the year, and for the safety of your flowers and plants, we cannot always leave deliveries unattended outdoors.
If we are unable to reach the recipient or determine that it is not safe to leave the delivery, we may need to make alternate arrangements for delivery or pickup. We appreciate your understanding as we work to ensure every order arrives in the best possible condition.
For same-day delivery, orders must be placed by 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Please note that we do not offer delivery service on Saturdays or Sundays.
Due to the perishable nature of flowers and plants, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or offer refunds.
If you have any concerns about your order, please contact us as soon as possible. Customer satisfaction is important to us, and we will do our best to address any issues that may arise.
Our subscriptions allow you to select a delivery frequency that best suits your needs - either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
You will be billed 5 days before the delivery schedule you select (either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). This is to ensure your florist will have adequate time to prepare your order.
You can call the florist any time before the scheduled delivery or pickup date to make changes to your subscription plan and orders.
