About the Shop
We are a nonprofit, full-service floral, gift, and garden center dedicated to making meaningful work more accessible for adults with disabilities. Through hands-on training and employment opportunities, we create an inclusive environment where individuals can build skills, gain confidence, and thrive. Our mission is rooted in purpose—combining beautiful products with a deeper impact on the community we serve.
Founded in 2021 in Chillicothe, Illinois, by Jim and Laura Sniff, our organization was inspired by their son Jimmy, who has autism. After recognizing a lack of services and work programs for individuals like him, they set out to create opportunities that truly make a difference. What began as a vision on their family farm has grown into a supportive and empowering space for many.
Our gift shop proudly features the Ability Marketplace, showcasing unique, high-quality products made by children and adults with disabilities from across the country. Alongside our floral designs, greenhouse, and garden center offerings, we provide a wide range of services under one roof.
At our core, we are more than a shop—we are a community. Every purchase supports inclusion, purpose, and the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to do meaningful work.

It wasn't exactly like this but I did get to see it and it was lovely. Everyone at the visitation saw it as they signed into the guest book.
