Substitution Policy
In some instances, our photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated.
Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers and/or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you’ve selected, we will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal value or higher value.
If any design elements are of major importance to your order, please include them in the florist instructions at checkout or contact us to ensure availability.
Delivery Policy
Pear & Petals offers local delivery throughout Pearland and select surrounding Houston communities. Same-day and next-day delivery may be available depending on order time, flower availability, and delivery location.
Deliveries are completed within scheduled delivery windows. While we are happy to note preferred times, exact delivery times cannot be guaranteed except for time-sensitive events such as weddings, funerals, and scheduled celebrations arranged in advance.
Delivery fees vary based on distance. Please provide a complete address, recipient phone number, and any necessary gate or building access instructions. Deliveries to hospitals, schools, offices, and secured communities are subject to each location’s policies. Severe weather, traffic, incorrect addresses, or an unavailable recipient may affect delivery timing.
We will always make every reasonable effort to deliver your arrangement safely and on time.
Refund Policy
At Pear & Petals, we take pride in the quality and presentation of every arrangement. Because flowers are perishable, any concerns regarding freshness, condition, damage, or overall quality must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
To help us review the concern, please provide the order number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photographs of the arrangement as it was received. Please keep the original arrangement until the matter has been resolved, as Pear & Petals may request that it be returned or collected.
If we confirm a quality issue, we will offer an appropriate resolution, which may include a complimentary replacement, exchange, or refund. Approved replacements and exchanges will be delivered at no additional charge. This complimentary redelivery applies to one approved replacement per order.
Approved refunds will be issued promptly to the original payment method. Please allow approximately 5 to 10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or payment provider.
Flowers are natural products, so variations in color, size, shape, and bloom stage may occur. When a specific flower or container is unavailable, we may substitute an item of similar style, color, quality, and value while preserving the overall appearance of the arrangement. Reasonable substitutions and natural variations are not considered quality defects.
Our freshness guarantee does not cover concerns reported more than 24 hours after delivery or damage caused by improper care, lack of water, extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, pets, excessive handling, or failure to follow provided care instructions.
Delivery concerns caused by an incorrect address, missing access information, an unavailable recipient, or restrictions imposed by hospitals, schools, offices, or secured communities are handled separately from flower-quality concerns.
Wedding, event, installation, and other custom orders may be subject to separate terms outlined in the customer’s proposal or service agreement. By placing an order with Pear & Petals, the customer acknowledges and accepts this policy.

Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist.
Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received
cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone.
Florists that offer same-day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in
their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the
following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field
during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences.
Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in
advance.
