Mahalo did a wonderful job from the beginning to the end of my ordering a funeral display for a family member's Celebration of Life service. The arrangement I have chosen and payed for , which was a surprise gift for my daughter on her Birthday, from me living in another country which has a time difference of 10 hours ( where I live is 10 hours ahead!) The purpose was for me to be on call as the flowers were delivered so that I could also experience the surprise and joy she felt and we could experience a special mother/ daughter chat! That was why I specifically ordered for delivery of 9-9:30 am which was 7 pm my time! But unfortunately, without giving me any notice of delay in delivery, I had to find a local friend to track the delivery time! And of course, your delivery was at a time after midnight for me and when she was not at home!
So I am not a satisfied overseas customer. The product though my daughter says , was beautiful…Delivery and informing me of any problems, I.e. responsible business practice was lacking in my opinion. Just to remind you that I had given the order and payed in full 9 days before requested delivery date and time.

Mahalo Flowers not only has exotic and beautiful floral arrangements, but their delivery staff don't give up on the deliveries, which was so appreciated! It took them 3 tries (due to us not having updated phone numbers) before the delivery was successful, and they took the time to change out some of the flowers to keep the arrangement looking fresh and beautiful. They went the extra mile, and our co-worker, who was home recuperating, received a very beautiful arrangement to help her heal. A huge MAHALO to Mahalo Flowers!

I understand that there will be variance on what is on the display photo vs. Actual order due to flower availability etc. But i think it should be at least somewhat similar or notify the customers if unable to match the colors or flower arrangemnts. I have been ordering from Mahalo and they're service is great. However, this past Valentine's and Mother's day was a bit disappointing. I think that matching colors matter. Apart from the arrangement and flowers shown, I think customers also select based on the arrangement of colors being displayed.

There's SO MUCH "leaves or some type of leafy greens" used as a "plug in", making the colors are so dull (almost all white and green, added a little yellow). I appreciate the size of the lilies but I really expected to see some contrast of pink or peach and green just as shown on the display.

My sister's texts to me with pictures said "Omgosh. Stunnnnnning!!!!!!!", and "I had to stand away from them because it’s so tall i couldn’t get them in the whole picture".
And the next day she wrote "I'm keeping my curtains closed behind me at the Piano so I can enjoy these flowers without them getting any little bit of sunshine on them for as long as I can they’re stunning"

If you can imagine it, the Maui Delight flowers delivered were even more spectacular than the photos on the Mahalo Flowers website! I hate to be the bearer of bad news, But I was really disappointed in the arrangement. As, was my son. The arrangement I picked was much simpler than what was sent. It was a modge podge of too much Added greenery. And my son said that a lot of the flowers were wilted and not in good shape. He loves the Birds of paradise and whoever did the arrangement, added too much extras and drowned the simple Birds of Paradise out instead of the simple arrangement I picked.

I wanted to send my friend flowers to cheer him, so I loved the yellow lilies and tall background flowers that were part of this arrangement. He also loves carnations. However, none of what I most wanted for him was included in what he received. There was no yellow, the flowers in the background had not yet bloomed, and there were no carnations. Besides, I felt the arrangement seemed simply thrown together with random flowers and fillers. So disappointing!

Based on the photo my friend who was the recipient of the arrangement, sent me, it did not show as many pink roses as was shown in the photo. there were exactly four pink roses from the picture of the arrangement received by my friend. Had I known from the picture in this photograph that this was a deluxe arrangement or extra deluxe I would have ordered that one. I assumed wrongly that what I saw in the picture would be what will be went. In other websites I have been on, it does show the difference in the arrangements when you click deluxe to show the difference.

The arrangement was nice but not as spectacular as I was expecting. The red flowers near the base were more of an orange color which made everything somewhat monochromatic. One of the orchid stems was fractured and drooping but that may have been the fault of the funeral home staff during transport.

The final delivered flowers did not match the picture of " Eternal Light Heart Spray. The sample picture has a finished boarder. The delivered flowers had an unfinished look with an unconstructed border. The amount and size of the main flowers were so much smaller and did not proportionately fill the space like the sample. There was a lot of green space vs the amount of flowers. For the maximum upgraded price, the arrangement looked cheap and underwhelming. I felt a bit embarrassed for what represented me.

I was told they forgot to print out my online order (mistakes happens, I get it), but they didn’t even say sorry. Told me they would send it to the home address of the recipient and make it extra nice. In most cases this would be fine, but I had specifically noted in the comment section of my order that it needed to delivered by 10am PRIOR to graveside services. I am so thankful for Mahalo Flowers. My son graduated from UCLA, and the leis from another company that I had used before, fell through at the last moment. There are surprisingly very few places that make Leis in the Westwood, Los Angeles, CA area, or at least that was my experience when I surfed the web and made calls. After ordering online, I called the store and spoke with a CSR, who then spoke to the manager. They were able to accommodate delivery to our hotel (not specific time, but before the grad hour), and the leis arrived fresh, gorgeous, and beautifully packaged. I have no reservation in recommending Mahalo flowers. I would also suggest to them that they add Maile, or ti leaf leis and braids. It would be a wonderful accompaniment to what they already offer. First, the flowers were delivered to the wrong house, something that would have been a nightmare had our neighbor who is usually out of town, hadn't been home. Second, this was gift for my mother, and her name was spelled wrong on the card. Now, if the order hadn't been placed online where the name was spelled correctly, that would be one thing. But just to do that on someone's special day, is just sloppy. Last, though I will recommend, it will now be with the caveat that the attention to detail is not all that great. Please do better. I was very disappointed.

Instead, they called and offered an alternative tropical arrangement. I couldn't believe the bouquet when I picked it up. The arrangement didn’t arrive as advertised AT ALL. The description said the roses were supposed to be blush pink but what was delivered were bright pink flowers with smaller white ones instead. The arrangement was also smaller than what was advertised too and the accompanying note I requested had font that was way too big for the paper. You would think they would know to make the font smaller to fit the note, but they didn’t. They didn’t even try to make the arrangement look nice or fit the aesthetic as advertised. I paid $85 for the premium package too. What a waste of money and an embarrassing gift to send to someone.

Unfortunately, I would describe my experience with Mahalo Flowers as disappointing. I ordered surprise birthday flowers to be delivered to my partner on the morning of the 13th, but they didn’t arrive until the afternoon – Mahalo then called my partner when they couldn’t immediately get into the apartment building. She was out at that point, which is why I had made the request for a morning delivery in the first place, and then she had to get into a logistical back-and-forth with Mahalo regarding the flower delivery, during which she was informed that the flowers might have to be delivered the following day. This would of course completely defeat the purpose of birthday flowers – a frustrating development, and one that only added to the initial frustration that she had to deal with the logistics at all. Eventually she got the flowers, but the surprise had been ruined. Logistics took the place of romance, and, to make matters worse, this is the second time I’ve ordered from Mahalo, and in both instances they failed to deliver at the requested time. If a service is going to take a person’s money, they should either deliver at the requested time or alert that person that the requested delivery might not be possible – and then offer a refund if that person would like to order from a service that actually can make the requested delivery. At this point, I see little incentive to order from Mahalo again. The flowers are nice but costly, and this most recent experience left a bitter taste in my mouth. I plan to check out other local options from now on (there are plenty in the area), and I plan to let my friends know that their money would be better spent elsewhere.

The arrangement received was pale, boring and arrangement was messy. There were only 2 kinds of roses of similar pale color. plus some greens leaves. Most flower were fully bloomed so looked like a hot mess. and thus the texture was boring. the color palette was mostly pale white. lacking in both the varied colors and texture.The arrangement was messy and elongated - not round like the pic on this ad. And there was no special purple flower to accent the arrangement. Come on you gotta do better than an amateur like me could.....

Most flower were fully bloomed so looked like a hot mess. and thus the texture was boring. the color palette was mostly pale white. lacking in both the varied colors and texture.The arrangement was messy and elongated - not round like the pic on this ad. And there was no special purple flower to accent the arrangement. Come on you gotta do better than an amateur like me could.....

Changed what i ordered at the last minute without asking me. When i tried to reach them to ask them what i was actually going to get i received no response. To this date i haven’t received a response. The flowers that i paid for we’re not the ones that were received. I think that’s pretty shady taking advantage of people at the last minute so they can’t cancel it and order it thru another site.

Ordered this arrangement for my best friends birthday who lives/works in southern CA, I’m up in Northern CA. I ordered online the day before and upgraded to a little bigger of an arrangement. My best friend sent me a photo after she received them and they were perfect, bigger and prettier then the photo!
