I ordered from Hillside florist on line it was a Sunday night and wanted them delivered the next day for someone who had lost their brother. Wanted them to know I was thinking of them placed order with a delivery date for Monday. Everything went great delivered next day and got a call from the recipient how beautiful the flowers were with a thank you. I will continue to do business with Hillside for all my floral needs. Hillside Florist is the office GO TO place if we need flowers. So when my Aunt passed away I knew who I would work with for an arrangement.
Hillside Florist was excellent. I paid an extra $15 instead of going through a Teleflora. I'd rather help a local business out. And it was worth it. The item was delivered a head of schedule which was greatly appreciated being it was for a wake and time sensitive.

I ordered online and was a bit nervous I filled out the form correctly. Flowers did arrive, I was sent a picture cause I was unable to attend. I compared the arrangement to the picture on the site and was surprised to see that they did use the same type and color of flowers but added a big yellow bow possibly a filler which I did not like and didn’t use the clay reusable pot which is WHY I picked this arrangement. I wanted something my friend could take home and reuse to remember us, not a big spray display I. A plastic ugly vase. Sorry for the honest review…

This was an absolutely stunning bouquet that they put together! I placed the order online after their regular business hours, and they still had it ready for me the next day. My friends recently lost a brother so I had gotten this for the family, not knowing that his favorite color was blue. Hillside Florist created such a beautiful bouquet, and a beautiful tribute for the family, and they weren’t even aware of my circumstances; so that means they’ll create beauty every time for anything!
I loved their work so much that another friend has asked me to pick up some flowers before seeing the family, and I went back and picked up a smaller arrangement that they had already prepared in their fridge!

I was a bit disappointed as I recvd a pic of the arrangement from the recipient & it did not look nearly as neat & put together as the pic on the website & I’m not sure it was worth upgrading to the $70 arrangement. It was overflowing from the vase, not in a good way.

After vowing to never send a floral arrangement again after the horrible arrangement for my mother-in-law's service, I was quickly faced with another family funeral service where I was feeling obligated to send an arrangement. I saw a photo of the bouquet and it looked like the rose was starting to wilt, one leaf had bug holes, and the arrangement looked like something I could do which isn't great. The price wasn't too great, $55, but a $15 delivery charge on top of that is a bit high in hindsight.

I understand that you have to substitute sometimes, but the arrangement you sent wasn’t even close.
The shape was awkward and the substitute flowers (hydrangea) was washed out. I didn’t see any lilies at all as pictured.

Bouguet was not as pictured and the hydrangeas were brown and limpy, basically dead. The arrangement was delivered a day earlier than specified which was the day before the funeral. They obviously were not fresh enough to last 24 hours unfortunately. I was not happy.

The only issue is, for some reason, my wife's maiden name was on the note card as the recipient, but i have the email receipt which states her married name as the recipient. Not a huge deal, but it's a detail that wasn't overlooked by all who saw arrangement and asked why her maiden name is on there.

I ordered this arrangement 2 days in advance and it was delivered before noon on the day that I ordered it for, which I was thrilled about. The flowers were beautiful and fresh, and I was very happy with the result. The only thing that I wasn’t expecting was the vase they sent it in was yellow, but I was hoping for white like it is shown in the picture. I still liked the yellow though, so it didn’t matter. Just something to note :) I would definitely order here again!

This Boxwood tree was smaller and a lot darker than I thought it would be. Your picture has bright red and white bows. I received a picture of it from my friend and it had no bows at all. By far the best customer service I’ve ever received from any company … and certainly from any florist!! As with every successful commercial business the customer-friendly ones handle the daily hiccups focusing on customer satisfaction rather than strictly on profits. Hillside does just that. They actually phoned me with a question that arose concerning my order and, after quickly rectifying that issue, I begged them for a same-day delivery due solely to an error on my part. I was quite disappointed. The soft and tender bouquet deluxe that was delivered only had a clear, plain glass vase with no detailing, only 4 roses, pink carnations, pink lilies and white miniature daisies. The bouquet was not full like a deluxe bouquet should be, there was no alostemeria and the substitute daisy was not the same value of flower. The roses were substituted with carnations which is a much cheaper flower. the vase was terrible. The arrangement didn’t look like the sweet and tender bouquet that I ordered. I also had to call them the next day after ordering because the confirming email to me was missing two names. This arrangement was for my mothers 99 year old sister’s funeral and she was quite upset. We have used hillside before with much better results and won’t be using them again.

I have to say that I was deeply disappointed by the Valentine flowers that I sent to my wife. She came home (day 1) and the flowers were wilted and just not looking healthy. For $85.00 I was expecting quality - the same kind of quality that I have been used to over the many years.

Not going to lie. We placed an order for our boss on 12/20 - we upgraded the arrangement to ‘premium’ and what was delivered was the ‘normal’ arrangement, that was $20 less.
I placed a call the following morning and it was confirmed a mistake had been made and that they were sending the correct premium arrangement that day. The florist was very nice and apologetic.
We received a picture of the new arrangement from our boss and she asked why it was replaced - she said there were 2 more roses, but other than that, it was the same size/same arrangement. And the kicker - they took back the first arrangement.....

The service was great. I was a little disappointed that the arrangement received was a bit darker in colors than expected and did not contain any lilies which is my step-mothers favorite flower. I know sometimes this can't be controlled. The arrangement itself was very pretty it just looked more like fall colors than spring colors. Ordering locally will still be my 1st option next time for sure. The flowers looked very healthy and were delivered on time.

I am always hesitant to choose a bouquet of flowers from a picture online for fear that it won't look anything like the photo, and often the "online flower companies" with their unpersonalized arrangements come out looking very sad and not worth even half what you pay for them (much smaller arrangement than the picture, not even the same flower family or colors, and the blooms don't last a few days). This bouquet was larger than I expected, with beautiful flowers, arranged to look like the picture, but better. I am very happy with this purchase (and so was the recipient) and will look forward to using this company again in the future. A definite positive experience and worth every penny, so I thank you!
