Delivery Policy

At Heavenly Inspirations Flowers & Gifts, we take great care to ensure your flowers arrive fresh, beautiful, and safely delivered. Please review our delivery policy before placing your order.

Delivery Areas & Fees Heavenly Inspirations Flowers & Gifts offers local delivery throughout Ludlow and surrounding communities. Delivery fees are calculated based on the delivery location and will be displayed during checkout. Some locations outside our regular delivery area may require an additional delivery fee or may not be available for same-day delivery.

Same-Day Delivery

Same-day delivery is available on most days for orders placed before our daily cutoff time, subject to availability. During busy periods and major floral holidays—including Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day—same-day delivery may be limited or unavailable once we reach capacity. We recommend placing your order in advance whenever possible.

Delivery Times

Deliveries are generally made during our regular delivery hours. While we are happy to note a preferred delivery time, we cannot guarantee an exact delivery time unless a specific delivery arrangement has been confirmed with our team in advance or a timely deliver fee applies. For businesses, schools, funeral homes, event venues, and other locations with specific receiving hours, please provide the applicable deadline or business hours when placing your order. We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate them. Delivery times may be affected by traffic, weather, road conditions, building access, holiday volume, and other circumstances beyond our control.

Recipient Availability

The recipient does not necessarily need to be present at the time of delivery. Depending on the location and conditions, our driver may leave the flowers with a receptionist, concierge, front desk, doorman, coworker, family member, or another appropriate person authorized to receive deliveries. If no one is available, our driver may attempt to contact the recipient or purchaser for instructions. When appropriate and safe, flowers may be left in a secure location. Flowers will not be left outdoors when our driver determines that weather, temperature, security, or other conditions could damage the arrangement or make leaving it unsafe.

Incorrect or Incomplete Delivery Information

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate recipient name, delivery address, apartment or unit number, telephone number, and any necessary access instructions. If a delivery cannot be completed because the information provided is incorrect or incomplete, additional delivery charges may apply for redelivery to the corrected address. Please contact Heavenly Inspirations Flowers & Gifts as soon as possible if you need to make a change. Once an order is out for delivery, we cannot guarantee that address changes can be accommodated.

Apartments, Condominiums & Secured Buildings

For buildings requiring a concierge, access code, call box, security clearance, or other special access, please provide all necessary information when placing your order. If our driver cannot access the building or reach the recipient, the order may be returned to the shop and a redelivery fee may apply.

Hospitals, Hotels & Other Special Locations

For hospital deliveries, please provide the recipient's full name and any available room information. Please confirm that the facility allows flower deliveries, as some hospital units do not accept fresh flowers. For hotel deliveries, please provide the guest's full name and, when available, the name associated with the reservation. We are not responsible for delays after an arrangement has been successfully delivered to and accepted by a facility's authorized staff, front desk, concierge, mailroom, or receiving department.

Funeral Deliveries

Please provide the name of the deceased, funeral home or service location, and scheduled service time whenever possible. We recommend placing funeral orders in advance so we can coordinate delivery before the service. Heavenly Inspirations Flowers & Gifts will make every reasonable effort to meet funeral service deadlines when accurate service information is provided.

Weather & Unexpected Delays

Severe weather, heavy traffic, road closures, emergencies, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control may result in delayed or rescheduled deliveries. The safety of our staff and the quality of your flowers are important to us. If conditions make delivery unsafe or impractical, we may contact you to arrange delivery at the next available time.

Holiday Delivery

Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and other major holidays are exceptionally busy. Delivery windows may be extended during these periods, and exact delivery times cannot be guaranteed. We strongly encourage customers to order early. Same-day orders may be closed once we reach our delivery capacity.
