It was a gorgeous arrangement and my friend loved it! I was nervous because I had never ordered from this shop and didn’t know if it would look anything like the picture they had provided. At the end of the day, as customers, all we really want is for the actual flower arrangement to look like the pics which is not always the case with some other flower shops. I will definitely order from here again.

This arrangement was insanely beautiful and MUCH larger/taller than I imagined, which made a stunning entry piece. The yellow flowers were replaced by gorgeous cherry blossom branches which I did not expect, but absolutely loved. My guests commented on how beautiful the arrangements were. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, when the arrangement arrived, it did not resemble the photo at all. None of the flowers shown were available apparently and the substitutions were awful , a clash of colours. I called and Mirsha said she would make it right. I picked out another arrangement from the internet and my daughter sent me a photo upon arrival. It was better than the first one, but quite disappointing as it really did not have the charm or even the tones of the second chosen arrangement. (I had agreed to one substitution, but the rest should have been the same.) Too bad, because in the past, the orders I have placed have really been spectacular.

Although we are in Florida, we lived across the street from this wonderful flower store for many years in Manhattan. They are top notch, offering the most beautiful flower arrangements and always delivering their flowers exactly on time. They are so dependable and their prices are reasonable for the very high quality that you are receiving. Flowers by Philip is a high end but very affordable flower store offering the best!

Delivery was late. After being told flowers would arrive by noon and after many phone calls, flowers arrived at 3:50 pm after intended recipient (my wife of 36 years) had left. This morning my wife is greeted with wilted day-old flowers to celebrate the day after our anniversary - not a major event usually. Flowers were beautiful even in their wilted sub optimal state which arguably makes it even more frustrating.

Excellent arrangement. Roses fully opened but sent without an initial preservative package. Lasted only 4 days though ( would expect 7 days) and this was with following directions of changing water daily and rushing out to biy preservative as instructed . Might suggest less than fully opened flowers and send a preservation package for initial day. Then, it Is up to me to then get more preservative and of course follow instructions.
Called 2 dats ahead of Valentine’s Day to order for my wife. Rude person on phone directed me to order on website. Did so. When no delivery by 1 pm, tried calling three times to ask where order was. Each time line was picked up but before I could speak they disconnected. Order didn’t arrive until 6 pm, way too late. I’ll never order from here again.
Valentine's Day flowers were ordered well over a week in advance but weren't delivered until 9:46 at night with no explanation, apology or warning. Totally unacceptable
I’ve been using Phillips for the last two years to send flowers. The flowers once delivered are always fresh, perfectly arranged and very fluffy. The flowers are such good quality, never broken and they last. Phillips has always delivered on time. The flowers are exactly as displayed.

A great experience! The floral arrangement I purchased was beautiful and generous, even larger than it appeared in the photo. The staff members who helped me change the delivery time were accommodating and efficient. This was my first experience ordering from Flowers by Philip, and I'll return.
Most flowers died within three days. The arrangement also arrived with broken stalks and flowers bunched together. We received inexpensive flowers from a bodega the same day that are still alive and look lovely.

I purchased these for my boss to send to a friend. I took a pic of about 6 different styles of your arrangements. My boss chose this particular one and said she loved them. The arrangement was beautiful! The one disappointment was that it didn't arrive with the vase pictured. It arrived in a simple glass vase. Part of the reason for the selection of this arrangement was the charm of that particular vase with the arrangement. However, the flowers were lovely!

I sent an email and had no response for two days and then I called them and they told me that they are allowed to substitute Different flowers in the arrangement. So if you’re dealing with this company, I suggest you do not go by the picture as it does not apply to what you order!

The team at Flowers by Philip went above and beyond. I wanted to send a get-well bouquet to a plant-lover, so opted for the succulent terrarium. But the arrangement needed a tiny pop of color, so I asked if they could tuck an extra token flower into the arrangement. They tucked in a couple of beautiful orchid flowers, which was far more than I hoped for (I was thinking a single carnation bud or something equally common.) The flowers were delivered to my Thanksgiving house hostess Tuesday. I arrived to the home later that day. The flowers were wilted and looked terrible. And the arrangement looked like a funeral arrangement rather than a “wild garden” arrangement. I was a bit embarrassed by them. Too bad.

I bit disappointed. I was attracted to the colors of the flowers in the sample photo which were vibrant yellow and orange. The actual arrangement had flowers which were not bright orange but more of an orange-brown. Also the actual arrangement did not have the palm leaves which attracted me to the asymmetric design. The actual was very different with tall branches and common leaves. Too much of a difference from the advertised display.

I ordered these flowers for my bf’s dad’s funeral services. The flowers arrived at the time I requested. They were absolutely beautiful, just as depicted on their website, my bf sent me a picture. Ordered arrangement above ……1st they sent half dead damaged flowers (their driver said the arrangement was too long to on the truck and it was a very warm day) and then they replaced it with a smaller, ugly arrangement in wrong colors!!!! The flowers arrived on time and were lovely. I had made a mistake on the e-card and didn't "sign it" so Toby called to see who sent the flowers. She first spoke with a woman who said she was too busy to look up the order. Toby was not pleased and waited a few minutes, called back and spoke with a man who looked it up to see I had ordered the flowers. Toby has lived in your neighborhood likely longer than you've been alive and she was so saddened that on Valentine's Day you were too busy to look up the gift so she could thank me? I hope this can be an opportunity of compassion so that anyone who answers the phone and speaks to someone can take a deep breath first. Take care.

This is the second time I have been quite disappointed with the flowers that actually arrived compare to what I thought I ordered. The first time was an orchid I sent as a gift. The recipient
was reluctantly honest and told me she thought the orchid that arrived was inferior to many orchids she has seen in my house (she is my housekeeper and I wanted to send her something special) and knows that I sometimes buy orchids in the supermarket. I actually called the Madison Avenue store to register my disappointment and they asked that I send a photo of the orchid. I asked my housekeeper to take a photo and send it to me, but she felt so guilty for having criticized my gift that she never sent me the photo and I decided it wasn't worth pursuing and making her feel more uncomfortable, although the orchid arrangement was not inexpensive.
This time I decided to give Flowers by Philip another chance and sent the Everything I Am arrangement to a close friend. I had seen two arrangements from Flowers by Philip sent by other people in her apartment on the occasion of her birthday in November and they were both very special and very beautiful. She was also very impressed with them. I chose Everything I Am because it was described as having some peonies in it and she loves peonies. I also thought it was the prettiest of the arrangements
pictured on line and the colors are her colors.
I was shocked when she sent me a photo of the
arrangement she received....no peonies..and an entirely different color scheme...and an arrangement that looked, well, over arranged and ordinary ...even the container was different...plain glass rather than the pearlescent and subtly
colored vase that was pictured. In addition I visited her at her apartment the next day and the
flowers were already drooping. She is a quite direct person and expressed surprise that the
arrangement was nothing special and very different than the flowers she'd received in November
I am making allowances in my mind for the difficulties of obtaining flowers and containers and supplies in general during COVID....although I don't really know whether that has been a problem. I'm usually not a complainer and am easy going and let things go.....but this time you asked and I decided to answer fully and honestly.
I think you should know because if other people are having similar experiences, this is not good for your future business. If you can't because of COVID make an arrangement more similar to the photos, you should let customers know and give them options....

The most exclusive floral arrangement, absolutely magnificent!
I have to be honest although they were delivered on time they flowers didn’t look like the photo. There was much more green and barely any pink in comparison to what I expected. I wanted a pink arrangement that had a little green. What the recipient received was a green arrangement with a few pink flowers. And the center flower in the photo that sort of looks like coral (which I love) was not in the arrangement at all. The flowers were fresh but not what I wanted.

Arrangement was much smaller than I expected. Flower quality similar to picture, although the hydrangeas are blue and not purple as pictured which was disappointing.

Upon delivery she noticed brown and wilting flowers in the arrangement:( she did go back to your shop and the people were nice and did switch out some flowers for her.
I guess for me that was a little embarrassing as this is a new relationship and I wanted to impress.
This was my second order and I was planing to use your services more in the future.
Unfortunately, this pretty picture you have on your website is not indicative of the arrangement you will be delivering. I was disappointed with the arrangement. It is not that it wasn't pretty, but it was not in the color palate or included some of the flowers you indicate you will be including on your website. What my daughter received was not a variation of soft pinks, white, and sharp pinks, but rather a total pink bouquet. I am well aware of using flowers that you have available at the time, but perhaps if your delivered arrangements are so far off from the color palate and flowers included on the website, you shouldn't include website pictures. I do not think what she was delivered was worth the $150 I spent with your company. You have a beautiful website, which is a great marketing tool, until you don't make good on the delivered product.

Ordered these tulips for my wife for Valentine's day. She loved them. I typically order from national online sites, but decided to shop locally this year. The tulips arrived wrapped beautifully and looked amazing. Typically flowers I send arrive in a box, so it was nice to see the tulips presented in a manner that did not cause her to need a box cutter. Overall, she loved these, which means that I love them.
First, the wrong flowers were delivered. My wife called to notify and she was told they would call her back but she never. Some of the flowers were delivered dead, and were delivered in circular vase, when I specifically requested the 5x5x5 cube as the vase.
It's really disappointing as I live on the Upper East Side and wanted to give you guys a try - the store front is so beautiful. But this delivery ruined my experience.

The orchid was beautifully arranged and a good orchid specimen. However the friend I ordered it for loves bold color. The photo described ‘sherbet’ and the orchid shown in the photo is yellow and magenta/deep pink. But the actual orchid delivered was cream-white with no red or other vivid color. I would have appreciated a call about the substitution. It was a $230 gift that I hoped would be perfect for a friend experiencing a family loss.
I was very grateful for the efficient way the last-minute change of address was handled. However, the color scheme of the flower arrangement you sent was Very different from the picture online: there were no yellow or pink accents and no pale colors; instead there were dark purples and deep reds, a nice arrangement but not what I wanted for the occasion.

The photo on your site was beautiful. I specified that the flowers were going to an important person and to make sure it was as pretty as photo. Recipient sent me a photo of a sad arrangement. Sparse. Freesia not opened. Overall not a good experience. I emailed to express my unhappiness with flowers but only received this email asking for my review.

While not the cheapest option available, if you want to make a statement and do not want generic typical flowers, this is the way to go. The arrangement was pretty and the recipient was very happy when she received it. Delivery was extremely fast. However I was very disappointed when she sent me a picture. It looked nothing like the arrangement pictured in the market place. Understand the florist will use substititions but I didn't see any likeness in the overall aesthetic that the picture promised. The picture was also very full and robust, the actual arrangement was significantly smaller and contained. I paid additional for a deluxe arrangement to ensure that. Did not think I received a "deluxe" arrangement as this was less impressive than the website picture.

Ordered online a week or so before I needed them delivered and they came early on the day I requested. I didn't see them but I got rave reviews from the recipient!!!
I was somewhat disappointed by this arrangement which I saw when I visited the recipient on the evening of the day they were delivered. I upgrade from standard to deluxe, but the arrangement looked about the same - or even slightly smaller - than the standard photograph. I chose this arrangement partially because of the burlap wrap. It was delivered in a black, soft, box-like vase. It was fine, and I realize the fine print says that you may need to make some substitutions, but I was nonetheless disappointed since that was one of the distinguishing characteristics of the arrangement and one of the main reasons I chose this one. More than anything, however, I don't feel that I got a better arrangement despit the $20 up charge.
