Welcome to Flora + Fern Design Co – where timeless elegance meets modern living.
Hello!
Welcome to Flora + Fern! I’m Mia Eckhardt, owner and head designer.
With more than 35 years of experience in floral design, my career has spanned wholesale production, national retail partnerships, weddings, events, and creative entrepreneurship. From being a self-taught designer to working with QVC and designing for the Nebraska Governor’s Mansion, I have also been involved in building and managing creative and hospitality-focused ventures. Each chapter shaped a thoughtful, adaptable approach to both design and business. Today, I bring that experience home to downtown Bennington through Flora & Fern Design Co., offering flowers, plants, gifts, weddings, events, landscapes, and sympathy work—each created with intention and care.

Substitution Policy
In some instances, our photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated.
Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers and/or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you’ve selected, we will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal value or higher value.
If any design elements are of major importance to your order, please include them in the florist instructions at checkout or contact us to ensure availability.
