And while I had placed my order online, they called me to make a polite suggestion for an arrangement that was the same price, but more appropriate to the occasion. This retired teacher gives an A+ to Far Hills Florist! Placing the order was easy and the delivery was prompt. I learned a lesson by having a bad experience with ANOTHER florist who had a lower cost; then, surprised me with a high “handling fee” added to the delivery and tax. I sent the upgraded Bright Spring cube to my mom for Mother's Day. When it arrived my mom stated that the flowers were in a disarray in the vase. There was no florist foam or tape to hold the arrangement in place. When she picked it up off the front step, the water and flowers spilled out. She said the flowers were lovely. It had 5 roses, a few small peony looking flowers and the rest was foliage. I realize that ordered the arrangement, last minute, the previous day so that may have contributed to it's appearance.

Hello Ms. Sterling,
I was so sorry to hear about Rita Miklos flowers arriving in disarray. We do not use oasis or floral tape in our work. Oasis greatly shortens vase life and floral tape is not necessary in a square cube vase. We use a grid of greens in our square cube arrangements and we do hundreds each month. They do not fall apart under normal circumstances and we have had no reports of this happening for a very long time. However, we had temporary delivery help because of the delivery load for the entire week of Mother's Day and I am assuming that is what happened. As far as the flowers in the vase, there were 5 green hydrangeas, 5 pink floyd roses, 5 blue hyacinths and 5 columbus tulips plus the greens and green hypericum berries. The standard gets 3 of each of those things except for 5 of the roses. The Columbus Tulips do look like a small Peony when open. We deliver the arrangement in a oblong box surrounded by tissue and it is a 6" cube which is quite heavy. At any rate, we would like to send her another arrangement like this. I have tried calling you several times and I just get a fast busy signal. Again, I am sorry this happened and we want to make it right.

Also, I am a consumer who tries to support local business’ vs big online vendors. In this purchase I was ordering flowers for my Fathers funeral. Sent flowers from out of town so had to go solely by internet searches. Far Hills seemed to have very good reviews for the location I needed them delivered to. Ordered online through their website and was very pleased with their straightforward and simple process. Delivery driver left a voicemail for me when he dropped the flowers off as I instructed. The flowers delivered were gorgeous and fresh! It did appear that a few flowers had to be substituted, but the substitutes were of equal or better quality/type of flower. The only thing I would suggest is posting side views of the arrangements you offer, just to get different angles of the products. I would definitely order again with Far Hills Florist!

We always use Far Hills Florist because the flowers are usually very fresh and last a long time. This time, the flowers were clearly old and began to wilt/die the day after they were delivered. This was not up to your usual quality.

The deal of the day is a mixture of that day's flowers and changes every day. The Standard size is designed in a 4" cube, Deluxe in a 5" cube and Premium in a 6" cube. There is a big difference in each vase size and they are filled so that the design is very full.
