Born in Brooklyn, NY, and raised between Queens and Long Island, I’ve called sunny South Florida home for the past 30 years. From a young age, I knew I wanted to build something of my own—creative, hands-on, and rooted in independence. At 17, I took a job at a local florist in Bayside, Queens, which unexpectedly became the start of my 30-year career in floral design and business ownership. Starting with basic shop work—cleaning, processing flowers, and learning the daily rhythm of the industry—I quickly developed a deep understanding of floral care, design, pricing, and seasonality. That early experience became a real-world education that shaped my future. I went on to work as a full-time designer at two New York florists before relocating to Florida in 1990, where I continued refining my craft with leading shops in Boca Raton and Delray Beach. In 1992, with support from my parents, I opened Exceptional Flowers and Gifts, fulfilling a lifelong dream. For over 34 years, my team and I have been creating modern, high-quality floral designs paired with exceptional service and value—always focused on capturing the emotions behind every arrangement and expressing them through flowers, made with care and heart. Substitution Policy
In some instances, our photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated.
Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers and/or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you’ve selected, we will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal value or higher value.
If any design elements are of major importance to your order, please include them in the florist instructions at checkout or contact us to ensure availability.

You can call the florist any time before the scheduled delivery or pickup date to make changes to your subscription plan and orders.

Delivery Details & Tips
Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist.
Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received
cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone.
Florists that offer same-day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in
their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the
following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field
during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences.
Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in
advance.
