What a wonderful experience I had with A Beautiful California florist! Next day delivery of a beautiful bouquet to our friends who just lost their sweet puppy dog. The flowers were exactly as pictured, if not nicer. The price was reasonable too.
I loved getting the preview snapshot. I made a mistake on the note which was quickly corrected for me by a human who answered the phone and was soooo nice about it.
They went above and beyond, creating a customized sticker and ribbon that I didn’t even expect.
The recipients loved it. ABC Florist will be my Long Beach go-to from now on.

I typically have an AMAZING EXPERIENCE with this Florist. However, this time around I was a little disappointed. The leaves were burnt brown and had holes in them. A couple of the flowers were brown around the edges.

The plant arrangement was very disappointing. It was nothing like the advertisement. It had brown leaves that appeared to be dying, there were no flowers in the arrangement as shown in the advertisement and it looked like it was just thrown together with no quality or thought. Very disappointing for the money spent.

My experience with A Beautiful California Florist was excellent. I ordered the flowers before 9 am so I could get them delivered before noon and that’s exactly what I got. The flowers looked so pretty, although the picture on the website had bright pink roses and they used red, it still looked very pretty. I ordered a Mylar balloon and the card had a very pretty font. It was perfect for a special occasion. They have such a huge selection and price range. I will definitely use them again.

Great variety of flower arrangements for different occasions. It was super easy ordering online for same-day delivery and it was great getting updates and seeing a photo of the flowers before they were delivered, and getting updates throughout the entire process.
I had to call back because I forgot to add in the unit number for the delivery, but it was quickly fixed and was sent confirmation emails.
Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to send flowers to someone without hassle and all done easily online.

A very simple, easy process to order flowers and get them delivered on the same day. The floral arrangement on the left looked nothing like the photo. The photo had flowers emerging from the base of the arrangement and sprouting out. This one is a lot smaller and not worthy of the price tag

Well the flowers were a little tired - some slight drooping along the petal edges. Also, I expected a 360 degree floral arrangement, and this was not. Perhaps you should indicate when they’re meant to put against a wall or to be viewed from the front only. I would have happily paid more.

He was happy to see that this year there was a plushy animal available and he selected the teddy bear. It was a different color (white) instead of the ones pictured. The beautiful arrangement that I purchased online looked just as good or even better than the picture on their website! I had a bad experience with another company who delivered a bouquet that looked nothing like the one I purchased online. Thank goodness the recipient sent a photo with their thank you text or I never would have known! How can you justify the price and advertisement based on your completed product? The flowers (roses) were brown and wilted this morning at the burial. They were poor quality and ut showed in cimparison to all the other arrangements at the funeral. Thy looked so small!!!! And there were no fall colors added. Where was the burgundy like in your pictures?
I also noticed you guys took down the posting from your website which tells me you dont have the flowers to make that arrangement BUT you guys still charged me for a specialty fall bouquet price. I'm very disappointed. I just couldnt believe i paid that much for what i received.

We asked to modify the colors to include more red flowers and then did that exactly. The coolest thing was getting to see th “bloom snap” of the finished arrangement before it went out. Amazing service! The first delivery might have been left at the incorrect address, so I called them to figure out what could be done. The building is a little confusing, so this happens often. Tom helped work things out and, in the end, we got a second bouquet delivered with no issues. Wow, a wonderful unexpected find! My daughter-in-law just started back to work after 12 week maternity leave, and I wanted to send a pick-me up arrangement to her workplace. Well to be honest I failed to read the description about the possibility of not always looking like image provided —totally my fault. I expected them to be wrapped but were instead in a vase. I've used ProFlowers and 1-800Flowers in the past with mixed results but wanted to actually pick the local florist in Long Beach, CA from where the flower would be sent. I found 'A Beautiful California Florist' with 5 stars and ordered through BloomNation which actually shows the florist for each arrangement on the BloomNation website. The pictures don't do the arrangement justice. When the recipient sent back pictures of the arrangement it looked another 1/3 bigger than the pictures from the website and it was really full and beautiful. The recipient was totally overwhelmed which made it even better. I ordered the flowers at 1:30 pm and they were delivered by 4:00 pm for no extra delivery charge. Impressive. Both A Beautiful California Florist and BloomNation sent photos of the actual arrangement being delivered. All in all a great experience. Will use them again next time.

ABC Florist delivered the most beautiful floral spray arrangement for a memorial service in Long Beach! I was a bit nervous ordering the arrangement via their website knowing that it would have to be delivered at a very specific time. However, within minutes of placing the on-line order, Tom wrote me an e-mail confirming that they received my special instructions and would be able to handle the requests.

I ordered the Nature's Wonder Basket, paid a few more $$ for Deluxe arrangement and asked if roses could be added. They did attempt to call me, perhaps to clarify my request but I wasn't home and they did send a Bloom Snap of the arrangement.
Initially, I was a little bummed because based on the Bloom Snap picture, even tho they added quite a few more extra flowers, the arrangement didn't have the shape of the picture on the website (it was more round like a globe) and of the flowers they added, the plainest white daisies stuck out the most while the iris' were barely peeping out and stargazer lilies were were still closed. They did add red roses as requested.
But when my child sent me a picture of her with the flowers, I saw just how large the arrangement was and the lilies were just starting to bloom. I think the more they bloom, the prettier it's going to be. I hope it'll last for awhile.
So I was happy with the service. The Bloom Snap didn't do it justice, perhaps a reference to it's size would help.
Yes, it was a $$ arrangement but there was no middleman handing off the task to who-knows-where and it was personally arranged and delivered. Thank you, ABC florist.

It resembled the picture on the website, but as I had gone with the Premium selection there were a number of additional flowers in the arrangement. My daughter was thrilled and she received the flowers around noon which was perfect as this was sent to her office. I loved the e-mail with the picture from the Florist showing what they had put together, that is something I've never had before and it was very appreciated. I will definitely use this Florist again!

I called the day before to verify the delivery date and I asked for a picture of the final made item so I can post it on social media and they went ahead and texted me a pic which was important to me. I Spoke to Tom and he was very friendly. The flowers were very beautiful, my mom loved them!! Excellent service, great quality and friendly staff.

Tom was also great when calling me because I was going to have them delivered on the day they were leaving and he suggested that I have them delivered on the day my friend was coming back so she could enjoy them! It's nice to get a picture of the flower/plant that is eventually delivered. That said, the plant that was delivered to my friend didn't have any flowers on it. The online product pictures indicate it has flowers, but the actual product didn't have a single flower.

I ordered this arrangement online. I was impressed with the communication during the order and shipping process, I even received a photo of the actual arrangement before it was sent out! I visited the recipient that evening and the flowers were even nicer the picture depicted! A little pricey for the size but I was happy with look and freshness of these flowers!

I will ALWAYS buy flowers from them in the future! We got an email saying that it was ready to be delivered with a picture of it. Then we got a confirmation email saying when it was delivered what time and who signed for it. The flowers are absolutely gorgeous just like in the picture. My mom loved them

I was terribly disappointed with the service, value, and final product from A Beautiful California Florist. I had written a note explaining that I wanted to the flowers to be extra special, bright and colorful and cheerful and what was sent was the opposite. I paid the extra money for the 'deluxe' arrangement, and when I questioned whether or not this had been fulfilled, was told there were "2 extra flowers" added - 2 flowers for an additional $10...?? I ordered an arrangement of tulips - if tulips were not in season (they seem to be plentiful in my little town in Oregon), then a phone call suggesting a substitute would have been appropriate, rather than the uninspired, wilting, lackluster arrangement sent instead. I even gave an extra day or two for delivery to insure the florist would be able to fulfill my arrangement. I am embarrassed at what was sent on my behalf. I wouldn't trust this florist, not if you want your gift of flowers to be special. There are so many others that I'm sure would have done a better job. So very disappointing.
