BloomNation Expands Full Spanish-Language Support for Independent Florists, Reinforcing Florist-First Mission

LOS ANGELES – July 3rd, 2025 — BloomNation, the leading florist-first e-commerce platform in North America, proudly announces the expansion of its full-service Spanish-language support, making it the only floral software and services platform to offer comprehensive assistance in Spanish across every touchpoint.

From sales and onboarding to customer success and platform education, Spanish-speaking florists now have access to dedicated bilingual support at every step of their business journey.

“For too long, Spanish-speaking florists have been underserved by the platforms they rely on,” said Sonia Maslovskaya, Head of Marketing at BloomNation. “Many were forced to depend on their employees or family members to translate. As a company built around florists, we knew that had to change.”

BloomNation officially launched full Spanish support in October 2024, hiring bilingual staff and rethinking its resources to ensure inclusion and accessibility. Since then, the company has:

  • Grown to support over 200 Spanish-speaking florists across the U.S. and Canada
  • Translated Help Center articles into Spanish
  • Hired additional Spanish-speaking team members across sales, marketing, onboarding, and support
  • Added “Ramo Buchón” as a searchable design style on florist websites, acknowledging the cultural relevance and sales power of this arrangement style
  • Added culturally meaningful occasions, such as Quinceañeras and Día de los Muertos, and others, as searchable options on florist websites, helping shops connect more deeply with their Spanish-speaking communities.
  • It is in the process of developing new Spanish-language walkthrough videos to help florists better understand key features

This investment has not gone unnoticed. Spanish-speaking florists have begun referring peers, accelerating organic growth in Latin-owned flower shops on the BloomNation platform.

The decision to include design styles like “Ramo Buchón” was directly inspired by florists’ requests. These larger, high-ticket arrangements are popular in Spanish-speaking communities and carry strong cultural meaning. Now, customers can easily search for them on florist websites powered by BloomNation.

Florists also say the difference in service is clear. 

“I just welcomed a new flower shop to BloomNation that left a wire service after being told she had to wait for their one Spanish-speaking rep,” said one BloomNation team member. “The florist had her daughter translating and still couldn’t get the help she needed.
