Substitution Policy
In some instances, our photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated.
Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers and/or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you’ve selected, we will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal value or higher value.
If any design elements are of major importance to your order, please include them in the florist instructions at checkout or contact us to ensure availability.

Beautiful Flowers, Delivered with Care
At Zalea Flowers, we believe sending flowers should be as delightful as receiving them. Our team carefully designs and delivers fresh, premium floral arrangements throughout Denver and the surrounding communities, bringing a little beauty to doorsteps, offices, celebrations, and special occasions every day.
Whether you're sending birthday flowers, anniversary roses, sympathy arrangements, or a spontaneous just-because bouquet, we're here to make flower delivery easy, thoughtful, and beautiful.
Delivery Hours & Service Area
Zalea Flowers offers flower delivery seven days a week, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, throughout the Denver metropolitan area.
Our regular delivery area extends approximately 25 miles from our Centennial, Colorado flower shop, including Cherry Hills Village, Greenwood Village, Highlands Ranch, Littleton, the Denver Tech Center (DTC), Englewood, Lone Tree, Castle Rock, Castle Pines, and surrounding communities.
We also regularly serve customers seeking flower delivery in Denver, Castle Pines, and other nearby neighborhoods within our delivery area.
Delivery availability and fees may vary based on distance, destination, weather, and order volume. Please contact us for special delivery requests outside our standard service area.
Same-Day Flower Delivery
Need flowers today? We've got you!
Same-day flower delivery is often available, particularly for destinations within approximately five miles of our Centennial flower shop.
Same-day delivery is subject to floral inventory, designer availability, delivery capacity, and the time your order is placed. Orders placed later in the day may require additional flexibility in flower selection or delivery timing.
We encourage you to call us directly for urgent orders so we can confirm the best available options.
Timed & Special Delivery Requests
Our standard delivery window is 10:00 AM–7:00 PM, and deliveries are scheduled according to location, routing, and daily order volume.
Need your flowers delivered by a particular time? We are happy to accommodate timed delivery requests whenever possible.
Specific delivery windows, early or late delivery, priority deliveries, and special scheduling arrangements must be confirmed by our team in advance and may incur additional fees.
Requested delivery times are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed by Zalea Flowers.
Floral Substitutions & Seasonal Availability
Flowers are natural, seasonal products, and availability changes daily.
We reserve the right to substitute flowers, greenery, containers, or other design elements when necessary due to product availability, seasonal changes, quality considerations, or last-minute delivery requests.
Our designers will always make every reasonable effort to preserve the overall color palette, style, size, value, and artistic character of the arrangement you selected.
We prioritize fresh, beautiful flowers and thoughtful design over using an exact ingredient that may not meet our quality standards.
Substitutions may be especially necessary for same-day flower delivery, holidays, and other high-volume occasions.
Recipient Contact Information
A valid recipient phone number is required for all flower deliveries.
While we love a good surprise, there are occasions when our delivery team must contact the recipient to confirm access, locate an address, obtain building instructions, or ensure flowers can be delivered safely.
Providing an accurate phone number helps us avoid delays and protects the quality of your arrangement.
We will make reasonable efforts to complete delivery using the information provided. If we cannot reach the recipient or safely complete delivery, the arrangement may be returned to our shop.
A second delivery attempt may require an additional delivery fee.
Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses
Please double-check the recipient's delivery address before submitting your order, including apartment or suite numbers, building names, gate codes, and any special access instructions.
Zalea Flowers is not responsible for delivery delays, failed deliveries, or misdeliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the sender.
If an address correction requires additional travel, rerouting, or another delivery attempt, additional delivery charges may apply.
Recipient Unavailable & Delivery Access
If the recipient is unavailable, our driver will use reasonable judgment to determine whether the flowers can be safely left at the delivery location.
Weather conditions, temperature, building access, security restrictions, and the likelihood of damage or theft may affect this decision.
If the flowers cannot be safely delivered, we may contact the sender or recipient to arrange an alternative.
For apartments, gated communities, hospitals, hotels, businesses, and secured buildings, please provide all necessary delivery instructions when placing your order.
Once flowers have been successfully delivered to the designated location or an authorized receiving party, Zalea Flowers cannot be responsible for subsequent theft, damage, or handling outside our control.
Holidays, Weather & High-Volume Delivery Days
Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and other major floral holidays are some of our busiest delivery periods.
During these times, delivery windows may be extended or adjusted, timed deliveries may be limited, and floral substitutions may be more common. Order EARLY if you need specific timing!
Severe weather, unsafe road conditions, and circumstances beyond our control may also affect delivery schedules. Our team will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant delays and arrange a suitable alternative when necessary.

At Zalea Flowers, we take pride in creating beautiful, fresh floral arrangements using premium flowers and thoughtful, artistic design. Every arrangement is handcrafted by our floral designers in Centennial, Colorado, with care and attention to quality.
Because flowers are living, perishable products, their appearance and longevity naturally vary. We want you to enjoy your flowers for as long as possible, and we're here to help you do just that.
Our Fresh Flower Promise
We carefully select and condition our flowers to ensure they are fresh and beautiful when they leave our shop.
However, different flower varieties have different natural lifespans. Some blooms may last a week or longer with proper care, while others are naturally more delicate and may last only a few days.
It is completely normal for certain flowers within an arrangement to fade before others. This is part of the natural beauty of fresh flowers and does not necessarily indicate a quality issue.
For this reason, Zalea Flowers does not guarantee a specific lifespan for individual flowers or floral arrangements.
Caring for Your Flowers
A little daily care makes a big difference!
To help your arrangement stay fresh and beautiful:
Check the water level daily. Flowers drink more than you might expect! Add fresh, clean water as needed, keeping stems submerged.
Change the water regularly when possible to help prevent bacterial growth.
Keep flowers away from direct sunlight, heating vents, fireplaces, and extreme temperatures. A cool, comfortable location is best.
Remove fading blooms and foliage as they naturally age to help the remaining flowers look their best.
Keep flowers away from ripening fruit, which releases gases that can accelerate aging.
For wrapped bouquets, trim the stems and place them in a clean vase with fresh water as soon as possible.
Fresh flowers are especially sensitive to heat, freezing temperatures, dehydration, and prolonged periods without water. Proper care after delivery is essential to their longevity.

We want you to love your flowers.
If your arrangement arrives damaged, significantly wilted, or with a clear quality concern, please contact Zalea Flowers within 48 hours of delivery.
To help us evaluate the issue, we ask that you provide:
Your order number or the sender's name.
A brief description of the concern.
Clear photographs of the arrangement showing the issue.
Our team will review your concerns promptly and work with you toward an appropriate resolution.
Our Replacement-First Policy
Because flowers are perishable and each arrangement is individually handcrafted, our preferred resolution for verified floral quality issues is replacement rather than refund.
When a quality concern is confirmed, Zalea Flowers may offer a replacement arrangement, replacement stems, or another appropriate solution based on the circumstances.
Replacement arrangements will be designed to reflect the original order's overall style, color palette, and value, subject to seasonal flower availability.
We reserve the right to make reasonable floral substitutions when preparing replacements.
Our goal is always to make things right while maintaining the quality and artistry our customers expect.
Refunds & Cancellations
Due to the perishable nature of fresh flowers and the custom labor involved in floral design, completed and delivered orders are generally not eligible for refunds based solely on personal preference, natural variations in flower longevity, or differences resulting from reasonable seasonal substitutions.
Refund requests are reviewed individually. Where appropriate, we will prioritize replacing the arrangement or correcting the issue.
Orders that have already been designed, prepared, or dispatched may not be eligible for cancellation or a full refund.
Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies available to customers under applicable law.
Natural Variations & Seasonal Substitutions
Every Zalea arrangement is a unique piece of floral art.
The photographs on our website represent the intended design, color palette, size, and overall aesthetic of each arrangement. Because flowers are seasonal agricultural products, exact varieties, bloom stages, colors, and textures may vary.
Our designers reserve the right to substitute flowers or containers of comparable quality and value when necessary, while making every reasonable effort to preserve the character and beauty of the original design.
Minor differences between a delivered arrangement and its website photograph are not considered defects.
After-Delivery Care & Environmental Conditions
Once flowers have been successfully delivered, their condition and longevity can be affected by environmental conditions and the care they receive.
Zalea Flowers cannot guarantee the longevity of arrangements exposed to excessive heat or cold, insufficient water, direct sunlight, or improper handling after delivery.

Our subscriptions allow you to select a delivery frequency that best suits your needs - either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
How often will I be billed?
You will be billed 5 days before the delivery schedule you select (either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). This is to ensure your florist will have adequate time to prepare your order.
How do I make changes to my subscription plan?
You can call the florist any time before the scheduled delivery or pickup date to make changes to your subscription plan and orders.
Can I pause my subscription plan?
Yes, you can! contact us at (720) 795-8138, let us know the next best delivery date and we’ll pause your subscription.
How do I cancel my subscription plan?
We’d be happy to take care of that for you! Please contact us at (720) 795-8138 and we’ll cancel your subscription right away.

Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist.
Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received
cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone.
Florists that offer same-day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in
their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the
following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field
during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences.
