Welcome to Wholesale Flowers & Supplies. We are a thirty-year-old business, housed in a 22,000 square foot brick and mortar store in the heart of San Diego, California. We sell to both the trade and general public. The store has five components: 1.An enormous walk-in cooler stocked with fresh-cut flowers and greens sold by the bunch. We also have a separate tropical cooler stocked with cut orchids, tropical flowers and greens. Finally, we have a retail display cooler with dazzling arrangements for cash and carry or delivery. If you do not immediately see the entrance to the coolers, please ask one of our helpful team members. We sell potted orchids, mini specialty orchids, house plants and pre-made dish gardens. 2. An award-winning full-service design department that provides fee-based services for flower presentation wraps. This is where clients may either choose their own bunches or request assistance. The design team can also create beautiful arrangements for special occasions, funerals, event work and weddings to order. Our internet sales department accepts on-line orders for shipping throughout the US and Canada. We are confident you will be delighted with your visit. My daughter sent me a photo of the arrangement she received on Friday, (7/11). I was very disappointed to see that the roses you included in this arrangement were fully bloomed. The roses won't last as long as they would have if they had been fresher. They also didn't look like the the photo in the advertisement on your web page.

Placed my order easily online and they called me to confirm my order. The arrangement was even more beautiful in person! When I picked it up, the designers securely packaged it so that it wouldn’t move or tip over during transport. My mom loved it! My dad gave it to her for their 63rd anniversary. I ordered two of these to put at the ends of a long food table for a private event. They ran out of the pictured vase but phoned me to ask if they could substitute another before proceeding. They described the new vase, which I approved. The arrangements were stunning!. Prices are more than reasonable and the work and design are incomparable. Also, you can see these would normally be awkward to transport, but the employees boxed them up very securely to transport in my car without any worry about tipping over. I would order these again in a hearbeat.

A wonderful place to purchase wholesale flower. A horrible place to purchase flowers for delivery. I had major surgery this week and purchased flowers to thank my lovely fiancé for her assistance - and unfortunately wholesale flowers couldn't get their act together to mark a memorable event and instead turned this special moment into a nightmare! They really need to reassess their delivery services and I made the manager Cristi aware of my concerns. Crazy thing is I compensated them with a tip for their poor service as I was required to pay it upfront. I regret this! Alberto [and not Susan]

The arrangement was beautiful! I requested a different color rose, and Wholesale called to ask what color but didn't hear back from me immediately, so designer decided to do yellow, which was the right choice. I appreciate that they send a picture of what is being delivered - often, you don't know until the receiver contacts you. The recipient also said it was beautiful! Highly recommend!

This arrangement was for a memorial service. We ordered the premium version and we were both impressed & delighted with the design, and gorgeous blooms.

I had bought flower bouquets and arrangements several times here but this time was very disappointing.
I had pre-ordered for my wife's birthday and arranged for it to be ready the night before.
Picked it up and one of the flowers already seemed a bit welting but I thought that the experts who made the arrangement would have only used good flowers.
Brought them home and stored in the cool garage overnight.
The next morning to my surprise more flowers showed sign of wilting and I was almost embarrassed to gift this to my wife.
The next day all the tulips and roses were bad and my wife kept removing flower after flower from the bouquet.
We ended up with just the orchids, the tree branch and the succulents in the glass bulbs.
For the price of over $130 I paid, this was a huge letdown.

This is only my second time ordering flower delivery from Wholesale Flowers - but will definitely not be the last! The flowers are incredibly gorgeous, they send a picture of what your flowers actually look like, and the customer service is above and beyond. The designers at SD Wholesale did such a beautiful job. They even put some traditional Chinese stems in for this Lunar New Year housewarming gift. I couldn't find what I wanted online, but chose something anyway. Left a note for the design team to reach out if what I wanted wasn't what I thought I was ordering. They called right away, showed me this gorgeous bundle of brightness that was the same price as the one I had ordered. They did everything to ensure that I sent the bouquet design I wanted, that it was send same day and that it had been delivered. This was an excellent experience. I plan to use them for every delivery. It's so nice to have a local shop to depend upon.

I saw this and had to have it. It's long, most bouquets are high, so this one was perfect. It was a fair price too. They had called me over the phone to tell me that they didn't have the color candles that were in the picture. We figured that out. While on the phone I inquired whether than had anything longer with the same fullness of flowers, they did. They told me the price, I agreed and that was that. Until I received the bill and it was $20 higher than they quoted. I called them and they said that the price was higher because the new quote was only for a longer vase. WTH? I would not pay $50 extra for a longer vase, who would? Anyway, I told them that is not what I agreed upon. She insisted so I said that I was going to pay it but this was our last transaction (I have spent nearly $1k with them in the past 7 months). No sooner did that come out of my mouth then she had a change of heart. She told me that she would give me the agreed upon quote with the same fullness of flowers. I was cautiously optimistic that she'd actually keep it full like it was in the original picture. When I arrived I saw that it was spectacular. Everything I'd hoped. It looks gorgeous on my dining table, ready for guests to admire and for me to relish for as long as it lives.

While the roses were beautiful, the arrangement didn’t look anything like the picture online because tulips are out of season. I should’ve selected another arrangement when they called to tell me (they did not just substitute without speaking to me, which was fantastic). However, they did their best, and even added an orchid to the arrangement. I have learned my lesson though and will stick to arrangements that they actually have the flowers for in the future.

I haven’t been impressed by any florist I have used in the past until now. When the vase I wanted wasn’t available Wholesale florist called to explain the situation and send me pictures of other available vases that I can choose. Additionally, they sent me a picture of the floral arrangement before it was even delivered to my friend. That is a first. I was able to actually see what was going to be delivered. The flowers were above & beyond, as I knew they would be! (I've been a customer for years at Wholesale Flowers and Supplies). Somehow even tho I filled everything out online the card was completely blank. I spoke to the manager & he'll inform IT dept. Luckily it was a delivery for my sister & she recognized my phone number. If there were 10 stars that's what my review would start with. I hope to express how extraordinarily beautiful the arrangement was. I was stunned. The overall quality of the piece was top level. From the vessel layered with stones that could have been collected our San Diego shores, to orchids and blush roses all framed in lush tropicals it could not have been lovelier. And the twigs resembled the graceful movement of our offshore kelp. Our honored friend loved San Diego and the water life and fun it offered. The family placed this piece in a position of honor at the dias, front and center at the memorial. Thank you for creating a piece more perfect than you can image. It was as if you knew our dear friend.

This does not resemble the picture of what I purchased. It’s called a succulent and rose lover. What happened to the succulents? Two succulents? What are the ugly wild things sticking out and the orchids on top are on their last day. My client liked it but I do not. I’m very disappointed! I used to live in San Diego and shopped at Wholesale Flowers on a regular basis. Now, I've moved out of state. This past Sunday, was a dear friends 70th birthday. I went on their online website to order an arrangement for her. I received a call from designer, Danny, who informed me that they didn't have the cynbidium orchids in green but rather white. Asking me if, making that change was acceptable. I really appreciated that consideration! Additionally, I received a photo of the finished arrangement! I was totally pleased with this experience. This arrangement is beautiful. The delivery driver was there early on Saturday, and the front gate was locked so he called me to let me know. He was willing to wait while I got him the combination, and he was able to get in to deliver the flowers after that. I was grateful that he was willing to wait a few minutes. I will have to say I am very impressed with the flowers and customer service. I’ve always purchased flowers here but this is my first time ordering an online delivery. The florist was professional and gave me a courtesy call to let me know they will use a different container since the one online is not available. Unlike other online florist where the arrangements look nothing like what you see on the website, this place really make it look identical! They even let me know of the delivery eta so I can notify the recipient to be on the lookout for it. I will Definitely order from them again!!

While I was told the flowers were beautiful, they didn’t look like the ones in the photos. They used a more of the cheaper daisies in place of the nicer flowers, and at least one of the colors from the original photo was missing from the flowers delivered. I know flowers are seasonal and not always available, but they shouldn’t be replaced with cheaper alternatives. At that price, I’m not sure I’ll utilize BloomNation again.

loved getting the email updates with photo of the arrangement! only thing I would have improved is picking flowers that were all the same level of "opened"... the orange tulips are clearly a couple of days older than the other blooms. overall, loved the service!!!

While the flowers themselves were very beautiful... the bouquet cost over $100 which seems a bit pricey considering they didn't add any roses or snapdragons as the original order specified. I can see maybe $50 but this was extremely overpriced. We have used other florists on BloomNation that gave much higher quality bouquets with more flowers, larger arrangements for the same price or less.
