About Us
Sunnyside has been providing fresh flowers to Dover and the surrounding Morris County area since 1901, when the Schumacher family started growing fresh flowers in the nurseries attached to the shop. Today the Andrade Family continues to offer the freshest flowers and designs in the area. As a multiple year winner of the Daily Record’s Reader’s Choice Award our customers agree.
I began my life in the Floral Industry at the ripe old age of 14 in 1983. In 1985 I graduated from the NJ School of Floral Design. For the last 41 years I’ve been designing with a passion. In 2001 I bought Flower Fantasia in Mine Hill. In 2004 seeking a bigger challenge, I bought Sunnyside Florist and today continue to provide Dover and the surrounding Morris County area with fresh flowers and memorable designs. I’m honored to continue the legacy that the Schumacher Family started in 1901.

Substitution Policy
In some instances, our photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated.
Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers and/or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you’ve selected, we will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal value or higher value.

Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist.
Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received
cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone.
Florists that offer same-day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in
their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the
following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field
during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences.
Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in
