Q: What time will my flowers arrive and what if no-one is there to accept them?
A: Excellent question! We’re unable to provide or guarantee specific delivery times. All our flowers are delivered anytime between 9-5pm, with exception to Sympathy designs for a funeral service. For full details around our delivery process and timings, please see our Terms and Conditions.
Q: What days do you deliver flowers?
A: All our flowers are available for San Francisco and Daly City delivery seven days a week, between 9am-5pm.
Q: May I order for the same day delivery?
A: Yes, same day deliveries are available if you place an order before 1pm.
Q: May I request to change the design a bit?
A: Yes, please make a note in the SPECIAL INSTRUCTION box when you place your online order. We will do our best to follow them.
Q: Will my flowers look exactly as what is pictured?
A: Depending on the season, colors or shades may vary. Sometimes we need to substitute flowers due to seasonal availability, but they’re always substituted for the same or greater value.

The website is clear and helpful. I called ahead with a special request regarding delivery and the person whom I spoke with (the owner?) was helpful. The delivery person followed my request. I received an email the day of the delivery, with a photo of the actual bouquet arrangement. The recipient of the flowers (for her birthday) raved about how beautiful the bouquet was. (Note that I chose this florist because my daughter had sent me an arrangement from them over a week before, and it too was beautiful, and lasted a long time.)

The flower arrangement looked nothing like the photo. I got an email that said the arrangement would be changing. Will I called the florist, I was told that only the vase would change and there might be more pink flower. What showed up was completely different. Most of the arrangement was "fillers" and not the nicer, more expensive flowers I thought I was paying for. Not worth the $$$. I was embarrassed that the arrangement was sent as it was a special thank you arrangement. Not what I would have sent to a loved one had I known.

Dear Megan, I am sorry to learn that you were not delighted with the flower arrangement as delivered. Although we always endeavor to match the photo of each arrangement, flowers are seasonal and at times, some stems are not available. In this particular case, yellow pincushion proteas were not in stock and we substituted them with orange pincushion proteas. We also had to use a different vase, but otherwise, the composition of the arrangement was the same as presented on the website. However, since we want to ensure your satisfaction, we’re happy to send another arrangement to the recipient at our expense. In some instances, the florists’ photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated. Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you've selected, the local florist will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal or higher value.
Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist. Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone. Florists that offer same day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences. Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in advance.
