In 2025, Greenwich Floral changed ownership to lead designer Anita MacDonald. She looks forward to continue serving customers in the Southern California region since the launch of the business almost a decade ago.

Anita MacDonald
Floral design was a natural transition for Anita MacDonald, after working in the fashion and visual design world and raising her two daughters. Anita’s love for art, design and nature is where she draws her inspiration and creativity from. Gardening alongside her mother on their horse farm is where she fell in love with the colors and textures of flowers and botanicals. Bringing her mother’s brightly colored and fragrant roses, petunias, and daisies into the home instantly brought new life and wonder into the space. This feeling is what she desires to create and share with her floral and botanical designs. Continuing the Greenwich Floral legacy, while working alongside and learning from her mentor, Janet Webb, is an exciting adventure and one she is very grateful to carry on. Anita describes the experience as a “daily masterclass on technique, floral vocabulary and pushing the design boundaries, while honoring the client’s personal aesthetic.” Bringing beauty into any space through floral and botanical creations can ignite a lasting feeling of peace, love and joy!

What I ordered and what I received look like two entirely different arrangements. The one I received is not purple, like the photo advertised, and has a lot less flowers than the arrangement pictured. It is not what I ordered, and in my opinion, not worth what I paid for it.

I order exclusively from Greenwich - she has incredible quality flowers and creates arrangements you will find nowhere else. The containers she uses for her bouquets are stunning and high-quality and we reuse them for succulents and dinner parties. My mother is a master gardener and Rosarian and is always impressed by the quality of blooms at Greenwich.

Greenwich Floral is my go-to local florist. Their floral designs are creative and modern, with a slight French flavor, which I love. I especially like that they don’t use the average, run-of-the-mill vases that you see at all the other florists. Their blooms are seasonal and fresh. Highly recommended!

I ordered 2 centerpieces for my thanksgiving table. This one, the fall centerpiece, I order every year. This year it had a lot of big white hydrangea filler and some larger lilies; it was still pretty but not as delicate and charming as usual. The other arrangement I ordered was the great gray pumpkin, which also had white hydrangea that was not in the original picture. Sadly, the hydrangea wilted within a day although I added adequate water, and could not be revived. Didn't look like the value of what I paid for it.

I ordered 2 of the most expensive version of the simple green arrangement, which I have ordered numerous times in the past and loved. This time though, I was disappointed. I received 2 nice, but not outstanding, standard floral arrangements, in glass vessels not the stone ones depicted. I do floral arrangements myself and, until now, have always been happy with GF’s work. I think any arrangement that deviates so much from depiction should get buyer’s okay first.

Very nice arrangement and by far the best deal compared to other floral delivery service. I looked for a full day and a half comparing prices from all yelp recommended florist in the area. Another great extra was they can add Godiva gold boxed chocolates to your delivery, a nicer boxed chocolates than most places. They respond to calls quickly, very accommodating customer service. The owner was very nice. Online ordering was easy, just needed a little help getting the boxed of chocolates added to my order. The recipient loved the flowers/gift! I would definitely use them again.

They must’ve not had burnt orange roses and I understand sometimes they have to substitute but I didn’t like the orange marigolds… too bright and look like large carnations which I don’t like. My experience with Greenwich was way beyond my expectations. When I ordered the flowers I accidentally put in my daughters college address where she works and not her apartment. The driver called her because the administrative office was closed. My daughter let him know she was at her apartment quite a few blocks away. He said no problem and deliver the flowers to her apartment.

I was promised on the website that my choice would be just like the picture. My friend I sent the bouquet to said thank you and sent a photo of the arrangement. It was nice, but it was definitely not like the picture as promised. I thought I was getting frilly tulips and I got regular ol’ Pink tulips. The bow in the photo and the added branches and greens became baby’s breath and not much else. Very ordinary. I asked that they be delivered early so my friend could enjoy them all day and they got delivered after 4 pm. The arrangement looked like I did it myself. Not very professional. I would not recommend them or use them again. It’s a little embarrassing to send an ordinary flower arrangement to a special friend when your promised something extraordinary.

As always the flowers were beautiful and the quality was great! I was disappointed in the delivery service. They were delivered a day late and when I spoke to the delivery person the day they were supposed to be delivered she claimed she could not find the apartment (even though she was at the correct address). There was both a map and a leasing/information office that she could have used to find the location of the apartment but instead the flowers were delivered the next day. I requested they be delivered the next morning - but they weren't delivered til the afternoon. I will continue to use your company - but for the first time I was disappointed in the level of customer service I received.

The flowers that were sent did not look like this bouquet. Instead of protea and dusky fall colors there was white hydrangea (half life of protea!) and pale roses etc. it also came in a clear glass bowl - not the one shown. Still beautiful but a little disappointed in how long it will last in comparison to flowers pictured.

We received a call from Andree immediately. She loved, loved, loved the bouquet. She also sent us a photo of the arrangement. I was surprised at the overall colors. There was more pink (Hydrangeas, dahlias) and maroon (orchids, dahlias) than I would have chosen for a summer bouquet. Where is the artichoke (in the name of the bouquet title!) and blues in the photo on the website? I would have liked more cool colors mixed in with the hot colors myself. However, I still give a five star rating based on the recipients reaction. I would certainly use your flower shop again.

I ordered the Romantic Pave arrangement and upgraded to Deluxe for a colleague. Never having ordered from Greenwich Floral I didn't know how close they would come to duplicating the arrangement in the photo sample. My colleague just sent me a photo and happy to report the arrangement was gorgeous and large. The flowers were less colorful than photo, more white/mauve/pale pink variety with specks of lavender, giving it a serene, elegant feel. Very tastefully done. I am pleased and highly recommend them.

This is a unique jewel colored floral arrangement overflowing w/ huge gorgeous flowers! It’s in a very cool apothecary jar w/ the glass lid attached at the bottom w/ pretty ribbon. All of the vessels that we ordered from Greenwich we can use again as they are top quality and lovely. This is a fairly tall arrangement that I put on our mantle. It’s just as stunnng 6 days later! For the most part I had a good experience with this shop, however, I have a couple of issues: 1. I was told the arrangement was mostly white, which is quite different than what I thought I was ordering (mostly green in photo) Note the title of the arrangement is Simple Green not Simple White. That being said, my friend mentioned that it was beautiful, but I’m still disappointed she didn’t receive what I ordered. I knew it would vary based on availability of flowers, etc., but didn’t think it would be that much. 2. It was left at the front door in full sun. I wish the driver had called and made other arrangements with the recipient. I spent quite a bit on this and would at least like it to last as long as possible. I called from out of state and specifically chose this shop based on their website as opposed to a national florist so that I could be assured of getting quality product and service. They do seem to do beautiful work, I would just be more cautious next time.

Would highly recommend! The florist specially called to clarify my custom request, and when given mostly free reign to design the bouquet for my mom's birthday, did a beautiful job. I paid for a $50 custom bouquet, where the lowest priced bouquet online is $42-45, and was afraid the resulting bouquet would not have many flowers--but I was totally wrong. This arrangement was close to perfect. But I really wanted the "simple green" look, even in the enhanced version I ordered. Instead of the white roses added (which gave the arrangement a kind of Christmas holiday look), I would have preferred more succulents, or artichokes, rosemary, mint or even just green roses in keeping with the theme. Even so, the arrangement is very fresh and beautiful and contains lots of unusual ferns, vines, pod and some succulents, and the concrete container is great. It is quite a large arrangement and really makes a statement on a coffee/console table.

My mother in law received this beautiful arrangement when she got home from surgery. She absolutely loved them & they brightened her day. While it's nice to deliver early, potentially could be an issue if no one was scheduled to be home that day!
2. Flowers weren't as colorful as on photo.
Overall quality very good, flowers were fresh though couldn't tell if really bigger since I upgraded the order.

I needed to purchase flowers for a friend in the hospital. I googled florists in Thousand Oaks and looked at Yelp reviews. She had good reviews so I took a shot and ordered off the website. I ordered at 9:30 in the morning and they were delivered by 1:30. My friend sent photos and the flowers were spectacular. They look nearly identical to the photo on the site. I was amazed. You will not be sorry spending your money here!

Greenwich Floral was terrific. I found out the day before the scheduled delivery that the intended recipient was not going to be home the next day, so Greenwich Floral offered to deliver that afternoon. The flowers and the arrangement were just lovely. Awesome!

When we arrived at my mother's care home, I asked immediately about the flowers we'd sent to her. I was appalled to find a well-filled jar with a great variety of flowers, all dead or dying. I asked the house manager if they had arrived in this condition and his reply was that apparently the bouquet was left on the front porch - maybe the bell was rung, but no one waited to hand the flowers off to the staff and they sat on the porch all morning. Not good, not good at all. I specified that there was always someone at the house (being a residential care home and all), so would have expected the delivery person to make sure the flowers were received by a living person. We are very unsure whether we'll ever order from Greenwich again. T David

I used to live in Thousand Oaks but recently moved to London (to Greenwich, London actually). The name of this place caught my eye because it's the borough I live in here, and the fact that it has 5 star reviews.
My dad just had knee surgery and I wanted to send him some flowers (my family still lives in Thousand Oaks) since he'll be bed ridden for a bit of time. I went onto Greenwich Floral's website and chose the "Garden Flowers in a Moscow Mule" because I liked the flower arrangement in the brass cup.
My dad loved them and sent me pictures...it turned out gorgeous!! I would definitely recommend this place!
