Unfortunately the expensive birthday flowers were delivered to the wrong person at the wrong address. When I called the store the girl said the office manager was gone for the day
and would contact me in a few days.
Around 4:30, a kind person contacted my daughter and told her they had her flowers. My daughter had to drive to the location and pick up her own flowers . The flowers were nice but the delivery was not good. Still waiting for the manager to call us back.

My mother sent me a picture and it was prettier than the picture I ordered. She loved it.

This was our first time ordering from Encinitas Florist and we were very disappointed with the delivery and that our specific instructions for delivery were not followed. This was a Mother's Day bouquet and it was left outside our gates half way down the driveway in the sun for hours. We gave the gate code and asked for the flowers to be delivered to the front door in the shade --and added a tip! Also, the arrangement does not look as pretty and compact as pictured.

The picture was beautiful and I upgraded the flowers. The recipient sent a photo when she received it- it was not as pictured, especially considering the price.

My sister is the pickiest flower person in the world. When she sends me flowers she will call 2 to 3 places and spend 20-45 minutes on the phone with them telling them Exactly what she wants. When I get the flowers I send pictures, & if she doesn't like what she sees, she will call the florist and let them know.
She loved the flowers you delivered, and isn't the type to say so if it wasn't true. Thank you for sending such a beautiful arrangement.

I’m in Oregon and decided to pick a florist local to my mom in Encinitas. Loved all the unique arrangements. We were shocked at how quickly they were delivered! Will be ordering from here again for Mother’s Day.

According to the recipient the bouquet arrived in pretty bad shape. Some tulips had already lost petals. The bouquet was replaced with a more acceptable one. I hope this won’t happen again should I order another flower delivery.

I’m in Canada so I didn’t see the floral arrangement but Julie says it’s BEAUTIFUL!

I understand that flowers can be/will be substituted depending on availability, but I paid for the deluxe version of this arrangement for an extra $25, totalling $140+ delivered and it didn't seem very deluxe. There were only 6 roses and a lot of mums.. There were even carnations which, in my opinion, shouldn't ever find their way into a deluxe version of any arrangements. It was disappointing and unremarkable

Our dear friend was taken with the Cherished Memories bouquet.

She said it was one of the most beautiful arrangements she and her husband had ever seen.

We live in Ireland so wanted to send a memorable gift of bouquet of flowers to our son and daughter-in-law upon the birth of their baby daughter. Encinitas Florist website was so easy to use with superb selection of floral arrangements. We will always use their professional services in the future.

On two consecutive occasions I have ordered flowers from Encinitas Florist for delivery to my girlfriend. Because of her work schedule I pay the additional $15 to guaranteed time delivery. On both occasions they have failed to deliver in the promised time window. On both occasions I had to call them and request a refund. It is clear they had no intentions on proactively contacting me to advise of the issue and refund me for the added service. The arrangements are nice, it is the delivery that is terribly lacking.

I ordered flowers for same day delivery. My order was placed 10:07 am and they were delivered at 10:40 am. Wow!!! What incredible service. And the flowers were so beautiful. Thank you.

I have used Encinitas Florist a number of times with a positive experience. However, my recent order was absolutely awful. The flowers were delivered a day late which of course ruined the occasion. The flowers were ordered to be delivered on a Friday at my girlfriend's new job. They were not delivered on Friday and as a result she didn't receive them until she came to work on Friday. When I called the store to inquire about delivery time they were of little help. They advised "they only have 1 driver today" and were unable to tell me when / if they would be delivered before the end of business hours. I would not recommend this shop. Not only did they not delivery as promised, they charged be a $15.99 delivery fee adding salt to the wound.

The recipient said that the flowers were lovely. The same day delivery was great and I appreciated the notification that they had been delivered. We don't live in the same city, so I will never get to see them in person, hence, I find it difficult to give a 5 star rating. just as a suggestion, it might be nice if the person who delivers the arrangement could take a picture and either email or text it to the party who ordered the arrangement. In the past, I was disappointed with a florist who delivered an arrangement to a friend of mine with wilted flowers. One of which was loosing its petals. Needless to say, I haven't used that florist since.

These flowers were absolutely beautiful!! My friend (who received them) said they were the prettiest flowers she has ever received!

The bouquet that was well-delivered did not resemble the FTD Wondrous Nature Bouquet I'd ordered other than it did include some Asiatic lilies, white daisies, and hints of the two other colors, peach and lavender-blue. The large white basket with its rounded handle lacked any contour, and the bloom arrangement did not display any of the basic principles of good floral design. The arrangement was rounded and floppy without any tiered balance and had little apparent thought given to bloom grouping and placement. Also, some blooms appeared to be mangled with missing petals. I want to be able to order more bouquets from this florist and offer this review only as informational feedback to hopefully foster their improvement.

This was a last minute order, but was delivered promptly and was exquisitely beautiful. Thank you again Encinitas Florist!

Bought these for my daughter is going through a hard time. They were gorgeous.

Flowers were done nicely but the card was terrible - the perforation cut off some words and an apostrophe was turned into digits and dashes so the message didn't make any sense.

The flowers arrived on time and were beautiful. They looked just like the picture, fresh and pretty. My daughter was very happy!

A little pricey but you delivered promptly same day and my daughter said the flowers were beautiful. Will continue to use you if you continue this kind of service and provide the beautiful flowers you did.

My mother was thrilled with the quality and longevity of the bouquet I sent for Mother's day. The website to order the flowers was well arranged and simple to use. The flowers were delivered within a few hours of being ordered.

My order for mother's day with this cute ceramic vase was delivered to the WRONG address! I had to call and complain. After a few hours of going back and forth, the kind gentleman at the other end agreed to make a new arrangement. It was a different arrangement, no cute vase. Just a box with some flowers and a balloon. I paid over $80.00 for something I could have had delivered from a grocery store.
Will not be ordering from here again. Overpriced!

I was not happy with the way this arrangement looked. It came arranged very sparsely and looked nothing like the nice full densely arranged flowers I thought I would be getting represented from the picture on their website. Maybe they were too busy to take the time do to Mother’s Day or ran out of the flowers used in this arrangement, but I will be very hesitant to use them in the future. i was so excited for my mom the get her Moms Day lilacs. She sent a pic and unfortunately they didn’t look anything like the pic above. Lots of branches and greenery and not a similar look as the picture on website. For $100, it looks like someone took about 2 minutes to throw it together. I recently ordered flowers from you for my girlfriend. She is undergoing surgery tomorrow so I wanted to surprise her with a nice bouquet. I ordered the European Garden Bouquet, but what my girlfriend received did not match the photos at all. The “bouquet” she received looked like a cheap plant out of a grocery store. It looks nothing like the European Garden Bouquet.

I rarely write to customer service but I am honestly extremely upset that I spent $60 with your company and such a poor “bouquet" was delivered. I wanted to support a local business over a large company but, based on the experience I have had so far, I’m never using your company again. I would sincerely appreciate a refund, or that a proper bouquet be delivered to my girlfriend.

The vase was the same and there were there were sunflowers, yellow roses and daisies - but red roses instead of pink? It was not cheerful and bright as pictured. It was all crammed together in a tight bunch. While our friend loved it - if the example was the photo of what was actually delivered, I wouldn't have chosen it. I do thank you though for your prompt delivery, that was excellent and she was happy. So I guess that's what matters most.

Grateful that the flowers were delivered same day and appreciated the service. It could be the situation we are currently in that limited selection, because the tulips were all open upon delivery and only lasted a day. For $100+ was hoping for a bit more. I had added in notes section to use any fresh flower. Again, not my usual experience as I’ve ordered amazing arrangements here in the past. This is still my favorite florist. I chalk it up to COVID-19, and hope everyone is safe and healthy.

I live on the Central Coast, and I have used Encinitas Florist a few different times to order flowers for my mom, who lives in Oceanside. I am continually pleased with my experience. The variety of arrangements is impressive. The pictures are good quality. The prices are competitive. This past time, I requested a contact-less delivery due to my mom being in a high-risk age group for COVID-19, and that worked just fine. The flowers that are delivered are stunning, especially the Blushing Bloom Bouquet. My mom was thrilled when she got them. She gushed about how stunning the bouquet was, and it lasted for a long time. I will definitely continue to to order from Encinitas Florist.

Great job! After delivery of flowers and chocolate to my mother's assisted living apartment complex, my mother said she did not receive the chocolates. Jamie went above and beyond by contacting the facility and tracked down the chocolates. They had been misplaced after delivery, which was not even Jamie's responsibility, but he fixed the mystery.

Plus my mother loved the flowers.

It cost $60 for a small vase of flowers, of which some were already dying. My wife liked that I thought of her, but said I should’ve never paid that much and I completely agree.

The arrangement was very tall but did not have the number of flowers that were represented in the photo. Also I love the clear smooth vase and the vase received was ridged and green. I called the florist because I forgot to put on the card who it was from. I was assured it would be added and it was not. The arrangement was pretty but not what I expected.

There was no raffia on the base. Looks like the flowers were shoved in the vase. Really? It is the little things that make an impression. A bit of a disappointment and $15.00 for a request of a late afternoon or evening delivery so you know the receiver will be home???

The flowers were delivered to the wrong person. The florist ultimately fixed the mistake, but the arrangement was sloppy, in a vase that was much too large for the number of stems. And it was expensive. I’ll use someone else next time.

When I ordered this bouquet I upgraded it to premium and should have clarified perhaps what exactly I anticipated. It was very pretty, but a larger mix of colors (probably based on availability) than I expected, which gave it a slightly more unorganized appearance. I think some of my opinion is due to my slight OCD
