Meet Judy Judith was raised in New York City and is a mother, wife, and grandma to 7 beautiful grandchildren. As a child, Judy traveled to Puerto Rico to visit her abuelos. While sitting outdoors on the rocking chair with her abuela Carmela, she has fond memories of her grandmother taking in slow deep breaths and often asked, “Do you smell the flowers?” That is where her love for flowers began. She has been arranging flowers for over 20 years, at family gatherings, sweet sixteens, bridal showers, baby showers, weddings, and Bar Mitzvahs. She has a certificate in Interior Design, attended floral arrangement and professional balloon decorating workshops. I consider myself a lifelong learner and am always eager to learn new and innovative ways to expand our business. Meet Lizette Lizette has over 20 years’ experience in Talent Acquisition supporting industries such as government contracting, aerospace, market research and media. She enjoyed her career but decided to take a leap and explore her creative side with her mother who has always been such a great source of inspiration. Watching her mother take dull rooms and transform them into beautiful masterpieces. When Lizette isn’t creating flowers you can find her spending quality time with her charismatic daughter, partner, and dog.
In some instances, the florists’ photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated. Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you've selected, the local florist will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal or higher value.
Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist. Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone. Florists that offer same day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences. Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in advance.
