The recipient loves the Medium Dish Garden she received and it was thoughtful of the florist to call the recipient in advance. So that is a 5-star review.
However, I understood that by increasing the cost of the Medium Dish Garden that it would include "flowers." But those flowers ended up being green plants. As a result, I asked the recipient to send me a pix, so I learned from her that there were no flowers. Perhaps the website should change the terminology from "flowers" to "green plants."

Dean’s Florist is officially my go-to local florist here in North Alabama (Florence). I had the most amazing & flawless experience using Dean’s for my FIRST time this week. I had wrote off other local florists due to terrible experiences on every single order; and don’t get me started on what a joke of a company (1800-flowers) is. This was my first purchase for flowers to be delivered in over 10 years. I had originally been on another popular Shoals florist & reluctantly placed an arrangement in my cart. Luckily I decided to check out google reviews & that’s how I discovered DEAN’S FLORIST. I was impressed by the insanely high reviews & was nervous that they may have been reviews of people connected with people from Dean’s. I compared options & pricing of the other local florist with Dean’s Florist & without hesitation I closed out the window for other florist & immediately ordered a much nicer & CHEAPER arrangement for my wife. She works at a spa & has very odd hours so I was a little worried about that being an issue. Dean’s Florist had my wife’s flowers delivered (in hand) within 2.5 hours from the time I put the order through. She sent me pictures & she was filled with happy tears. She & her coworkers went on & on about the high quality & bragged that they were the prettiest arrangement they’ve seen. My wife brought them home & I was beyond pleased; they were IMMACULATE!!! Dean’s Florist is now saved in my favorites on my computer dashboard & I also saved them in my contacts. Don’t wait for a loss of a loved one or so get out of the “doghouse” with your wife. Instead, send your wife some “just because” flowers, from Dean’s Florist, without her expecting them…you won’t regret it!! My weekend just improved so much from making that decision!

Let me just say I'm never had more funerals ago to in the year then 2021 which is kind of ironic since the pandemic happened in 2020! However through these after my 1st search for a local Florest to help fill our funeral needs I stumbled upon Dean's. They are by far, I felt, the best selection for the best price. They are local and I've used them for the 5 following funerals. They have always had it delivered on time it's always been exactly what I've ordered. I just can't say enough what a relief it is to know that when you are sending something to someone at such a desperate time in their life that your small thought gets there and gets to them on time and comforts them at one of the hardest times in their life. So, I just want to say a big THANK YOU! -- and I am actually going to try to come by and visit the shop as I'm just curious to meet y'all at this point. This is the 2nd time I have ordered from Deans. Both times have been great! This last time the wrong bouquet was dropped off, with the correct card, they called me immediately after they realized the mistake, and offered to go pick it up and drop off the correct one. There was no need for that, the flowers were beautiful, my sister loved them! And even though the bouquet they delivered was more expensive than the one I ordered they wouldn’t even consider allowing me to pay the difference!

They left off part of the message that was supposed to be on the card. The most important part, who it was from, was left off the card so the one that received the flowers had no idea who it was from. Wasn’t a long message at all so I’m not sure what happened, but I wouldn’t recommend using unless you don’t have a message to go along with the card.

My only disappointment was when I compared the arrangement that was delivered to the photo that was advertised.The beautiful filler that was shown in the picture sadly was replaced with one or two eucalyptus sprigs and more expensive flowers. I was hesitant about ordering this arrangement because the vase in the picture is typically thinner glass and somewhat top heavy as I have received many flowers in vases such as in the picture. Being in the hospital, I didnt want it to tip over with my 80 yr old mother. I was pleasantly surprised once I arrived to her room, that the different vase was thicker glass, and alot lower than the tall vase in the photo. I was thankful because I knew it was sturdier and more fitting for a hospital room. In fact, my mom plans to use the vase at home to house other items like ink pens, scissors etc. I was VERY PLEASED!!! Thank you for making this an easy, painless process! I would highly recommend you set up an account before placing an order online. Also disable your ad blocker. I tried twice to place an order and both times it gave me an error about invalid or missing email address, but there was no place to put it. I created the account and finally the place to put the email appeared during the order process. I was trying to get it done on my lunch break and almost didnt make it.
