Definitely will order from you again! Delivered on date promised. Flowers looked very similar to picture but you did add a touch of pink. As a sympathy bouquet, I had expected all white shades as pictured. Ok. But next time I will clarify when I want all white shades. However, the recipients were very pleased. I’m pretty embarrassed and upset with the flowers that were delivered to my mother. She is there on vacation in obx and I thought these flowers would be better than 1-800 flowers. I am currently stationed in Japan and the flowers delivered, looked nothing like the picture advertised for the flowers I selected. The only reason I chose this company is because it had high ratings but I was disappointed as to what was delivered after receiving a picture. The white flowers were wilted and the red rose seemed to have already been in full bloom with hardly much life left. Thankfully my mom didn’t know what they were supposed to look like but if we were locals definitely wouldn’t order from you guys again.

Hi Rachel, I am so sorry to be learning of your feelings here instead of a direct message or contact. I know you are out of the country which I'm sure feels worlds away. I am equally, if not more, sorry for your disappointment. That is completely opposite of our goals, expectations or intentions! Being a sender of flowers myself, have experienced this disappointment, and it is grave. I am so sorry this was your feeling.
I realize your mom was on vacation, had we known of your disappointment sooner we definitely would have made an effort to correct this faux pas. Being we are almost a week away from the delivery date, I am assuming she has gone. If I am incorrect, please be in touch ASAP so we can get her something else.
If I am not mistaken, you ordered "A Little Something"- this is a small arrangement typically of what we have available in the shop or our fields. While I am aware the photo did not match the product delivered, part of the description does denote specifically, "Champagne glass cube filled with mixed arrangement, colors and flowers vary on availability." This is in part to due to what we seasonal have growing in our fields as well as what we may have on hand in the cooler from around the world. I am sorry that seems to have been missed.
We so appreciate your taking the time to find a true Local shop. The "shops" falsely advertising their location are third party brokers, who call us to fulfill those orders, degrading your order to a lesser standard. We don't accept these orders.
Regarding the Hot pink roses we included in the arrangement, not all roses are the same. Just like people, they come in different shapes, sizes and personalities. This rose in particular, named Full Monty, kind of speaks for itself. This variety is large and in charge and we love it for that reason- it smells sumptuous and lasts forever. The white flowers you are referring to were either fever few or Orlaya- both of which were freshly harvested before the monsoon hit us which we delivered in.
Our delivery person said the ladies were overjoyed by the delivery which is encouraging- your sentiment was received!
If you should ever place an order with us or with another flower shop in the future, there is always a spot for you to leave any special instructions- like your expectations or what you would like the arrangement to contain. This helps us to hit all the marks for you as well as the recipient. It also gives us the information we need to know when we need to communicate with you in such instances.
Again, we are so sorry for your disappointment. We are just a small mother/daughter operation here in Kitty Hawk, doing our best to make everyone happy and make all our choices count. I wish we would have had the opportunity to have had a better resolution.

Although the recipient was delighted, and delivery was timely, I was disappointed when I saw the photo of the bocquet delivered. The blooms were not as bountiful, colorful or elegant as in the catalogue photo, and were delivered in a box, not a basket. Considering the price for the deluxe upgraded version, I would hesitate before using this service again.

I was saddened this morning to wake up to your review and sorry you felt that way. I certainly wish you would’ve reached out to us to have remedied the issue.

In comparing both arrangements, I tripled the amount of actual flower blooms and provided less foliage than the pictured arrangement Which I think is where you are feeling, there is less volume
But per stem count, you had three times as many flowers.
I can completely appreciate your not liking the arrangement. Perhaps it was not your style and obviously did not live up to your expectations.
And for that I’m sorry. Typically with upgrades, I try to provide more blooms. If there were something else you were looking for it would’ve been helpful to have known.
As always, our goal is to make the recipient feel your sentiment and make you feel just as good sending it
What might we be able to do to remedy this and have you feel better about your flower delivery. I’m completely happy to make another one and swap it out for what was delivered yesterday. And I’m completely open to your suggestion.

I don't usually write reviews, but felt compelled given how wonderful the experience was. After I placed my order, the owner reached out saying they did not have the rose color in stock for that same day delivery, but would make a custom arrangement for the same value. I appreciated the effort to get the flowers delivered to my friend on time for her birthday. My friend reached out with a picture, the arrangement was more beautiful than my original order. The note I had sent wishing her happy birthday also came on a small cardstock with a print from a local artist on the other side. Even better, the owner hand delivered these flowers to my friend. I highly recommend Bells & Whistles at The Flower Field for any flower deliveries in the Outer Banks!

Client pre ordered an arrangement months in advance. Which is perfectly normal. Our website clearly says by appointment only. When a client chooses to pickup an arrangement their confirmation email instructs them to call in advance to set up a time for pickup.
With late deliveries of product, I was waiting on our morning delivery to complete this order and contact client that it was ready.
Somehow she dismissed all instructions for pickup and proceeded to our studio to find no one their. She and her group pounded aggressively on my home door scaring my family. Proceeded to lay on their horn at least 5 times alarming our neighbors to the point of calling the police. And helped themselves into all of our buildings on property. This is called trespassing. Had she paid attention to all of the instructions she received in advance of picking up her sweet $38 arrangement this review would be non existent. Paying attention to the details of transactions is important and I rate her with a zero. Do not accept business from noncompismentis. They ignored clear instructions.

I ordered this arrangement to surprise my girlfriend for her birthday. When it arrived, it looked nothing like the picture that was advertised. I understand that flowers may change with the seasons but there was very little color in the arrangement and looked like they took the undesirable roses for Valentine’s weekend and threw them in a glass block. Most of the flowers look like they’re already dying. If I could attach an image I would so everyone could see how sad this arrangement really is. For $79 ($59 for the arrangement, $15 delivery and $5 tax), save your money and shop elsewhere.

I ordered this bouquet as a gift and have to say it was amazing! When the lilies bloomed, they were gorgeous. Everything about this bouquet smelled amazing and looked even better.

On a side note, every person that works here was so friendly and helpful. I had to delay my order for a bit and they didn't hesitate to do me the favor. Everyone on the phone was friendly and kind. I ordered a bright and full of color arrangement for my mom for Mother's day. Unfortunately when she sent me the picture of the flowers it was extremely blah. No bright colored flowers only muted and boring which was very disappointing for her as she thought I didnt know what she liked, however I do know she loves bold colors and that's what I ordered, but not what she received. I understand it was a busy weekend but if the orders cant match pictures they should not have taken the order and money. Disappointed from TN

I really wish I could post a picture to this review to show my frustrations first hand. While the company offered to send me exactly what I ordered after the fact, that doesn't make up for sending something that isn't even close to what you order. Not to mention, makes it awkward for the receiver. If you want to order flowers and the person actually get what you're wanting them to get (or something even close) choose another florist.

We did upgrade the arrangement and vase for a more expensive design and sent it in lieu of the $38 something simple piece. Again, sorry you felt it did not convey your sentiment.

Sent Mother’s day flowers to mom in Corolla from Chicago . Dorothy couldn’t be more accommodating on such a busy weekend . Arrangement was beautifully appointed and customer service top notch . Only constructive criticism is i wish website had dimensions or more detail per floral choices OR the ability to contact storefront for special details/instructions.
