Born and raised in Shelby, North Carolina, Janie attended Crest High School before going on to Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, North Carolina, on a basketball scholarship. Janie's passion for floral design led her to open her first flower shop, Williams Florist, in Charlotte. For nearly two decades, Janie has been a fixture in the Charlotte community, creating stunning floral arrangements for countless occasions. Williams Florist opened a new shop in Shelby, North Carolina earlier this year. Janie's success in floral design is due, in no small part, to her mother, who was a creative force in her life. Janie's mother instilled in her a love of design and encouraged her to pursue her dreams. With her mother's inspiration and support, Janie has grown Williams Florist into one of the premier flower shops in the Charlotte area.

Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist.
Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received
cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone.
Florists that offer same-day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in
their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the
following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field
during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences.
Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in
