Milton Vallaire
I grew up in the family florist business and received on the job training by helping when needed. My mother and father were in the retail and wholesale flower businesses, respectively, since the 1920's, so I was able to absorb the business virtually by osmosis. I purchased my own florist shop at an early age and the venture continues. In my 50 odd years in the business, I have acquired a vast Floral Design background as well as Horticultural knowledge. In 1986 I sold my 200,000 sq. ft. of greenhouses to devote more time to the family retail florist business. Our Fantastic team of floral designers have over 50 years of experience and do excellent work.They are skilled in everything from everyday floral designs and funeral pieces to parties and weddings. I don’t live in Slidell so I had to do some homework. I was impressed with their prompt service. Same day delivery, which is very nice. Sent my elderly Aunt a get well arrangement in a happy face mug, very bright & cheery! She was delighted & said she’s going to use the cup for her coffee. However, the $54.00 arrangement total after tax, delivery & tip came to $74.00.

Flowers were not delivered until 4pm. Called around 1pm to see where the delivery was and was told they lost a driver and were backed up. Couldn’t tell me if the delivery was on its way or give me a time. Just that it was going to be late. Very disappointing for Mother’s Day lunch to come and go and my wife doesn’t get her flowers until late afternoon. Will not be using Weathers again.

Well, I upgraded to delux i believe, but the web pic seemed much fuller than what was received and the web pic is the standard arrangement. If you look at your web pic compared to the picture of the arrangement that was delivered they don’t even have the same flowers in it. Also if you will notice you forgot the ribbon. There is no babies breath in the one delivered. What I payed for looks very little like what was received. Look at the picture you took of the flowers you sent and compare it with your website picture. You will see what I’m talking about

I’m honestly a bit disappointed with the arrangement. I paid extra for more and better quality flowers, but I actually got less. It was quite sparse in the middle, only four red roses and the chunk of flowers they put on the side jutted out awkwardly making the arrangement look weird instead of artistic. For $150 I expected perfection, these missed the mark.

The flowers were delivered on the day I selected and the process of choosing which bouquet was pretty easy. However, there was no where for me to choose a time frame to have them delivered. I did call the office the morning of to ask a time frame, and the lady on the phone was nice and she did give me a time, but, the flowers were delivered over 3 hrs past the time time slot she told me. Fortunately the person was back at home by the time they were delivered, but it seems that the coordination could be better simply by asking for preferred times and sticking to them.

Ordered Monday night for delivery Tuesday with accommodations met. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the arrangement is not what the picture looked like. The entire reason I chose that arrangement is because I felt like the peach/orange roses complimented the sunflowers beautifully. The arrangement that I received was all yellow flowers. It’s still a nice arrangement but too much yellow and not what the picture on the site was. In the future if you have to change out a color, maybe confirm w the customer that you are tweaking the look and make sure they are okay w the color change. For $100, I expect to get exactly what I paid for.

In the picture she sent me there was an off-putting, discordant bunch of blue flowers, opposed to the green flowers in the picture online provided by the company. Next time we will be more careful.

I contacted the store on Tuesday 5/12, they did deliver that day however the arrangement was pretty far off of what is pictured. I am very pleased with my experience with Weathers Flower Market. I ordered pretty late in the day (around 1:30 PM) and they were still able to deliver my flowers that day. When they didn't have a few of the flowers in the picture they called to let me know that they would be replacing them with different flowers--Thank you for doing that extra step and letting me know!

Well, my flowers were not what I ordered. The picture indicated pink roses and off white daisies, not bright white. However, I received an email saying they were out of pink roses and they would substitute yellow roses instead and my daises were bright white like the cheaper version birthday cake that was on the website. I wasn’t happy about it, but it was too late to make changes. I also paid extra for the silver platter as described on the more expensive birthday cake arrangement, instead I received a cheap clear plastic plate. I ended up sending this email to Judy. “My flowers to ******* is missing the silver platter that I paid extra for. I called and spoke to Milton and he said you will deliver the platter to ****** tomorrow. Milton tried to tell me that you added roses to my arrangement to make up the difference. That is not true. I ordered this arrangement pictured below and received the flowers in all yellow, but with the same amount of flowers. I am not happy about the missing platter and the fact that Milton was giving me false information. Milton then proceeded to tell me that you ran out of the platters and that you should have more in tomorrow. I own my own businesses and would never conduct business like this. Please correct this promptly.” I hope they do what’s right and follow through with delivering the silver platter at least. I will do a follow up review.

Wow, I am truly sorry that we ran out of the Silver Plated Plastic Dish that the flower cake rested on. The next day our wholesaler said the Silver plate was discontinued (we purchased 100 a year ago on sale) but they had a few gold ones left so we picked them up. I delivered a gold one the very next day to the recipient with a personal apology; she was very pleasant and understanding.
We state on our website with each selection that the item will be delivered approximately as seen. Keep in mind that flowers are God’s Gift to humanity but they are grown by mere mortals thus they have variations depending on the climate they are grown in. There are hundreds of varieties of white mums that are grown by hundreds of growers in Columbia the country of origin. As with all hand crafted art work especially with a living media they are variations thus we say “Your Order Will Be Delivered Approximately as Pictured”.
We could not reach Leslie by phone so we emailed and received permission to use yellow as opposed to pink as seen. I was phoned at 7:00 pm and tried explaining the difference in the flower cakes; the 39.99 size as opposed to the 49.99 size the major difference was the roses as opposed to carnations without knowing of the specific order. I did not realize that the silver plastic tray was the issue until later in the conversation. Online Images do not always reflect true colors and compositions.
Again I am truly sorry for the misunderstanding and will do whatever it takes to please Leslie as we do for all customers.

The arrangement was beautiful and his mom loved it, but it didn’t last. It was disappointing to pay that much and two days later the roses were already dying. The problem was it was too hard to keep water in it. I even tried spooning water into it.

Seeing as that we only wanted one floral arrangement (my brother was not really big on flowers), I upgraded to premium. I was disappointed because the arrangement didn't look any larger or fuller than the standard. I was looking for at least a dozen white roses and I only had seven. My sisters and I didn't even remove one at the gravesite because we didn't want to leave it looking any more bare than it already looked. One of my nieces commented that it looked skimpy and cheap. And trust me, it wasn't cheap.
