We are celebrating our 75th year as Wallingford's Florist, serving the Wallingford community with the freshest, most beautiful flowers since 1950! Located at 190 Center Street, since opening day in 1950, Wallingford Flower has been a part of the fabric of Wallingford. We offer same day delivery throughout Wallingford and surrounding towns. We work closely with other florists to send flowers anywhere in the world. Our shop has always been dedicated to providing the freshest, most beautiful, longest lasting floral designs. Wallingford Flower was recognized as one of BEST FLORISTS for the year 2024, receiving over 50 reviews each with a stellar rating of 4.5 stars or more in 2023 by Bloomnation. A smooth purchase experience online, on-time delivery. The recipient was really pleased with this arrangement, and commented that it looked good from every side. The delivered arrangement differs somewhat from the picture (flowers being subject to individual variation and availability) but the color and style were consisatent and just as good if not better than the picture.

I purposely ordered a small arrangement with sunflowers, the picture I received from my sister- in-law had no sunflowers, not even one.

We now know that there were at least 4 sunflowers in the arrangement, which was the amount shown in the online photo of the arrangement that you chose on our website. The problem was the angle in which the photo was taken. From that angle you could not see any sunflowers. I can tell by the petals on the flowers that there were 4 sunflowers placed in the arrangement that were simply not facing the camera. I offered to replace the arrangement of course at no charge but the conclusion you arrived at was that it wasn't necessary to do so because you were very happy with the flowers that your Mom received overall and that the problem was the angle the photo was taken at by the recipient. Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention because we want our customers to be happy and satisfied with their purchase. If you would kindly consider updating your review as our reviews and star rating mean the world to a small business like mine.

I placed an order online for a bouquet of flowers & a box of truffles. My step mom received them on time and said the flowers were gorgeous and is loving the candies too! The store included a beautiful handwritten note instead of just printing out the standard computer generated flimsy note attached to the flowers. I will definitely use this florist in the future! The flowers were delivered and it was lovely. However, I’m extremely disappointed that my notecard was not signed as I requested. Because of this, the recipient wasn’t aware of whom to thank. I had to embarrassingly ask her if she received the arrangement. She sent me a picture of the card she received. It said “Highland squad”, rather than “Highland K squad”. This was sent by the Kindergarten team which the recipient works on…..not the whole school. Please don’t assume it’s a typo on the buyer’s part. Please verify if unsure. We spent a good deal of money on this and the recipient should know whom to properly thank.

Was not happy with substitutions of filler. Arrangement was not what I ordered and wish I would have been told about substitutions because I would have never sent that. It looked cheap, I could have gone to the grocery store florist for that. Pros were that it was delivered promptly and was easy to order. While I realize that the arrangement would likely not look exactly like what was pictured I was disappointed that it looked nothing like it. I chose this arrangement in large part because of the pretty vase. The vase that was delivered was just a plain glass, nothing to distinguish it. The recipient sent me a photo and she said it was a lovely arrangement, it had very large green leaves and the effect just wasn't what I expected.

Ordered a splendor wreath online for a family funeral. Asked that it be delivered the day before the service. When I arrived at the funeral home I was a bit underwhelmed. The wreath’s size was smaller than I had expected for $300 and the flowers seemed to be wilting already. The online ad did not provide any size dimensions so I would suggest they add that detail to their listing. As for the wilting I’m not sure if the funeral home’s heat setting might have been the culprit as many of the other floral arrangements were also drooping.

I was very disappointed with the bouquet delivered. The flowers were roses not lillies. There were grew stems that twisted and turned with tight buds on it. The flowers were delivered on 9/30 as requested. When I saw them at the funeral home on 10/1 the flowers were wilted and dying. This was a stressful time to this family. I wanted them to smell the lillies and see a beautiful bouquet. The cost nor the actual bouquet didn't even come close to my exoectstions.

Although the arrangement was fine, I requested some other colors to be use for this birthday gift. It was all red when I requested maybe pink and yellow somewhere in the arrangement.
