I like that the Village Florist gave me notice that the basket will be substituted with a wooden box so there were no surprises. The wooden box is very stylish by the way. I prefer it to the basket. The arrangement was quite lovely and had a beautiful array of Fall colors. However, the container ( made of light wooden slats) was very disappointing. For the price, I thought the arrangement would have been put into a pottery or glass vase.

I ordered these for a good friend's birthday. After I placed the order online, I realized that my friend would be at another address for her birthday and called to change the delivery address. The florist was so understanding, and also recognized the traffic pattern in the area, so we discussed how to get these optimally delivered. Ordering online and getting it can be two different things. This was not the case here. What was delivered was what I ordered and it was beautiful! It was delivered a good amount of time before the service. The flowers were very fragrant! For a random pick of a florist, they did a wonderful job! I will keep them in mind for future use in the SF Valley.

I was extremely unhappy. The flowers were black and wilted. I called when I received that they were terrible. I have photos. The gentleman that I spoke with offered no assistance he only explained why they were old. No offer to replace with something else :((

Thank you for your review. However, we are unclear why you left a one star review. When we spoke to you on the phone, you were clear that you did not want a replacement. We explained that it is a tropical arrangement and therefore it is not wilted. We did not receive a photo from you, however, we have one from our driver when she left it at your door. There does not appear to have any damages to the arrangement. Had you wanted a replacement, we would be glad to do it at that time.

Unfortunately, my delivery look nothing like the arrangement above. Nor did it look like the other two pictures on the website. Highly disappointed. I understand it’s a busy holiday but if you’re going to charge more because it’s the holiday, you should still deliver quality arrangements.

The woman was very patient. She couldn’t get through the gate at the subdivision because my family I delivered to was not home. They did go back the next day and deliver it to the front porch as contacted later. It looks very close to the arrangement I ordered.

What a wonderful experience. I send a birthday arrangement every year to my niece and I have always ordered through an online teleflora website. So often I would order something and then what was delivered was a sad version of what was pictured online. This year I decided to change it up and order directly from a florist in my niece's area. The arrangements are always fresh and more modern than what I've seen with the mass market shops. I feel there is greater value for these flowers with a personal touch added through Photos and delivery notes.

Fabulous service and flowers. I placed an order late one night and they delivered the next morning, with no additional charge. Great service! I do not like to do things on line & recently moving out of state I could not be there for my sister's birthday. I placed an online order between 9:30am/10am for same day delivery and they were delivered by 11am. Great communication. I received a couple of emails from them. One was to show me the arrangement they made. Another was to let me know that there was an issue with the card that I had written online, I had edited the card a couple of times and it didn't save, but they noticed there were redundancy with the words and let me know they corrected it. They had also called to let me know about the card too. I also received an email letting me know that the flowers were delivered. I love all the updates. My friend texted me a picture and said the flowers were lovely. Highly recommend this Village Florist.

Just saw a photo of the delivered arrangement. The flowers were fine but the card was very poorly constructed—three separate lines of text were clumsily compressed into one long run-on line. Awkward to read and looks ridiculous. Too bad, after such a nice job on the flowers.

Terrible flower arrangement. The pink roses which were a large part of this arrangement were wilted and sad looking. The arrangement was not vibrant like in the photo. I picked up on the same day and by the afternoon they were even more sad

What a frustrating experience I had with this place. I attempted to have flowers delivered for my mother in law from my son for Valentine’s Day (which is such a lame holiday, but I digress.)
Full disclosure, the delivery address has a 1/2 on it so sometimes GPS can be wonky locating it. I kept an eye out for the delivery. It was taken to the wrong place. I contacted the delivery person directly with in 40 minutes. Was very understanding, told them it happens sometimes, could they pick it up and drop to right place (the correct address). I even gave them a google map pin. They said sure.
Forty minutes later she told me the florist wouldn’t pay for her to go out again. I’d have to call them.
Next I got to deal with Russell. Seemed like a nice guy. But went out of his way to tell me how they were so busy and they didn’t normally deliver to this area.. cool, it wasn’t like I twisted their arm to take my money.
Anyway he said he would try to help, but then didn’t. I called again and was told the owner would deliver new flowers for an additional $50. Lame.
So I told them to forget it. I wanted a refund. They told me they couldn’t do that - “it was through BloomNation.”
I’d have to deal with them. So I called BloomNation, (bonus that turned out to be a lie) but BloomNation reached out to the owner in an attempt to clear things up.
He said it was my fault because I should have somehow would have known the delivery would be wrong and put the pin in the notes in the beginning - like wha?

The flowers I recently had delivered were beautiful. The website didn't offer delivery the same day so I called to ask if this was possible. They had all the flowers needed for my chosen bouquet and delivered them within a couple hours of my order. They sent me a picture of the bouquet they prepared and let me know when they had been delivered. Wonderful customer service. I highly recommend them!

Online experience was excellent and before the flowers were sent out I received a pic of what had been done. This was a birthday arrangement to my favorite cousin and I received a pic when they were delivered and left at the front door. I emailed asking if the recipient was home, and they got back to me immediately to tell me she was not. I have never had such excellent service from any florist ! I will never use any of the “big online florists “ again! (Btw, my cousin loved the arrangement!)

While we were en route to the funeral, we received a call from the delivery guy, Russell, confirming where to leave the flowers.
Communication was great all around, very personable service. Flowers were beautiful--even more beautiful than the picture shown on their website.

I ordered 2 flower arrangements for Mother's Day both with upgrades to a "deluxe" level. I got the flowers. One was much larger than the other. I called the store and I was asked to send them a photo of the arrangements next to each other. I got a call back from the florist saying that they were in fact the same flower upgrade level even though one was much bigger than the other and that they do not guarantee the arrangement size. This was the most ludicrous thing to say. I can understand small variations in size but there was such a huge difference in size, it would be absolutely insane for one person to order the same thing and get one arrangement and another paying the same amount to get a much smaller arrangement. I asked the florist to please have someone deliver a replacement and for the smaller arrangement to be replaced by the larger one. I was told that they did not have drivers who could deliver the replacement; that I had to personally take the flower arrangements back to the store and get a replacement for the smaller arrangement. This was absolutely insane. They were the ones who screwed up and I would have to do additional driving to fix the issue. Horrible experience! I'll never order from here again.

I placed an order in the morning at 9am for same day deliver and let me tell you by 11am I had received a photo of the gorgeous arrangement I selected. By 1pm the flowers had been delivered!! The arrangement looked exactly as pictured on the order screen which I was so happy about because I've ordered plenty of arrangements and this has never happened. Thank you for making such a wonderful bouquet of flowers. They were actually way better (and bigger) than I expected. The price is reasonable and flowers were gorgeous. I later found out that this place is my friend's favorite shop. I was going to ask to customize, but since I didn't know much about arrangement, I just picked one from the catalog that was around my price point.
The only thing is that I wish I knew what time the flowers were being delivered so I could let the receiver know that there's a delivery coming their way...but I'm assuming it went well.

I was not familiar with the florists in the Granada Hills area so looked on Yelp and found Village Florist. They had already closed for the day, but their website provided me with everything I needed. I have ordered from this florist many times over the years and usually have had a great experience. I ordered flowers for my mother in laws birthday and bouquet arrived with brown/dead roses! My mother in law refused the bouquet and the florist sent a new bouquet with fresh flowers. While I appreciate they tried to make up the mistake it is highly disappointing they thought they could deliver dead flowers to begin with.

The arrangement I chose was unfortunately damaged in transit but the driver was able to swap mine for another, equally beautiful arrangement. There is a clock that lets you know if your order will be able to be sent out the same day (no guessing or having to call). Their follow up emails kept me up to date on the status of my order. Fantastic experience with Village Florist! It was so easy to find the flowers I wanted delivered the same day. While a bit more than I was planning to pay, the quality of flowers and the vase included were well worth it. I am always hesitant about ordering flowers from florists with whom I am not familiar. Especially when I order for someone in another state or across the country as in this case. I ordered a bouquet for my daughter to congratulate her on a new job. My Experience with Village Florist is that they were amazing. I read the reviews online first, and saw how good they were, and I was not disappointed. I booked the arrangement online, in the morning, of the day that I wanted the flowers delivered. There were plenty of arrangements to choose from with the feel that I wanted. ( modern, upbeat, cool , and not FTD or Teleflora looking. The website was easy to use. I received a super fun email that showed the photo of what the flowers would look like, then another email when they were delivered. I checked with the person who I sent them to , and yes they were actually those flowers, and it just gorgeous. This is not the place that you go to get " cheap" flowers . You can go to Vons for that . Their prices are very fair, for the quality of flowers you are receiving. These arrangements are pieces of art, that bring smiles. I will absolutely recommend them and use them again.
