About the Shop
Valentine Florist is a brick-and-mortar family owned business since 1989. Paul and Isabel Dao are the second generation operators of the shop and have been the driving force behind the event side of the business since 2001. We believe there is a unique story that accompanies every client we meet. Whether it’s an arrangement to say “Just Because I love you” , “With Deepest Sympathy”, “Happy Birthday”, or “Please let me in the house”:-). We strive to give our clients the best value for what they spend, for we know those are hard earned expenses. We design and compose each arrangement to its best value, then add more. Our parents once taught us this phrase: “Make $10 hundreds of times honestly, rather than make $100 ten times deceitfully”. This doctrine is our business motto and that teaching resonates through our business principles and pricing. Our goal is to treat everyone as we would have like to be treated. Substitution Policy
In some instances, the florists’ photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated. Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you've selected, the local florist will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal or higher value.
Delivery Policy
Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist. Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone. Florists that offer same day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences. Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in advance.
