With over 10 years of experience in the floral design field, The Urban Botanist strives to give the best customer service by understanding the client's vision and bringing that vision to life. The Urban Botanist focuses on organic-styled arrangements and hand-tied bouquets.
Ashley Polverari, the heart and soul behind The Urban Botanist Floral Co., discovered her love for flowers as a child, helping her mother tend their garden in New England. This passion blossomed during her years at Lyman Hall High School, where she studied floral design and horticulture. In 2016, Ashley took a leap of faith, leaving her corporate job for Miami, where she honed her skills under talented female floral designers. By 2018, she returned to Connecticut and opened her first workshop, focusing on weddings and events. In 2024, Ashley achieved a dream by opening a brick-and-mortar shop on Main Street in Branford, where she offers beautiful, seasonal arrangements crafted with love. While the shop is open on weekends, orders can be placed online for custom designs. With a unique, vibrant style, Ashley's work is filled with intention, and she’s currently booking weddings for 2025 and 2026. Each arrangement reflects her passion and dedication to the art of floral design.

Our subscriptions allow you to select a delivery frequency that best suits your needs - either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
How often will I be billed?
You will be billed 5 days before the delivery schedule you select (either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). This is to ensure your florist will have adequate time to prepare your order.
How do I make changes to my subscription plan?
You can call the florist any time before the scheduled delivery or pickup date to make changes to your subscription plan and orders.
Can I pause my subscription plan?

How do I cancel my subscription plan?

Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist.
Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received
cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone.
Florists that offer same-day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in
their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the
following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field
during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences.
Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in
advance.
