|I provided a 6+ hour mid-day window when the recipient would be home on the scheduled date of delivery. Instead of delivering in that generous window, the delivery person instead called close to the end of that window to state that they could only deliver during a period after normal business hours when the recipient wouldn't be home. They claimed it was because of West Hollywood Pride, but as a Weho business they must have known about these street closures weeks or months in advance (it happens every year!). So the recipient found out about the delivery, not with beautiful flowers showing up unannounced at the door, but by a stressful conversation about delivery.
Ultimately, the delivery happened - but not until about 6:30 p.m.
Surprise flowers shouldn't be announced through a stressful phone conversation. It almost defeats the purpose.
Making matters worse, I called the florist directly to try and resolve this issue mid-day on the day of delivery, left a voicemail, and never received a return call. Instead, I received a text from the delivery folks during the post-5 p.m. window when the recipient wasn't available (and the order notes reflected this) saying they couldn't reach him.
Overall, the flowers were gorgeous, the delivery and customer service experience abysmal.
Before posting this review, I called to address this directly with the business, and was told to hang up and text them the order number so they could investigate. When they called, their only response was that the recipient seemed happy with the flowers, and they couldn't understand why I was unhappy with the service.

|I ordered Valentine's Day flowers for my wife. I was even charged $15 for delivery.
I am in no way oblivious to the fact that Valentine's Day has to be the busiest day for a floral shop. That said if you cannot keep up with the demand then don't accept the orders as it will lead to disappointed customers.
At about 5:15 PM on Friday (Valentine's Day) I called to see where the flowers were and was told I would get them within 2 hours of me calling. This was too late already but I didn't even put up a stink and cut them some slack knowing how busy they must be.
I waited nearly 2 hours and called again at 7:05 PM. I was told the flowers for my wife had not been picked up yet to be delivered. When I asked why they were so late they said "You didn't put instructions on what time you wanted them by.".
First of all it was absurd enough that they didn't even apologize, but the notion that I needed to put a note that I wanted flowers delivered before 7 PM on Valentine's Day when people have dinner plans for a date night was ridiculous and basically putting the blame on me for them not being able to deliver flowers at an appropriate time.
In the end the flowers didn't arrive until 8:15 PM and they were delivered by a Doordash driver. Which if you were using Doordash as your delivery method (which again I paid $15 on top of the flowers) it means you just didn't have the flowers ready for them to be picked up. When you said they hadn't been picked up yet the implication was it was the delivery driver's fault.
I'm happy that all the other reviewers for this florist are happy but I am not.
The flowers we received were nothing special but it could have also just been the style I picked.
Would never buy flowers from them again.

Dear Jonathan Guez, We are very sorry that we were unable to deliver your bouquet at the expected time due to the huge flow of orders during Valentine's Day and we apologize. Regarding the fact that you waited for an apology from us for several days - honestly, we did not expect that the next day after deliveries we would have to call all the few customers who received the delivery after 8 pm and apologize for this additionally and personally. In fact, it is very difficult to contact people during the working day, even to clarify whether the order was received by the recipient the day before or to clarify a convenient time for the upcoming delivery! We agree with you that the answer of one of the three administrators working that day regarding the delivery time was incorrect. By the evening of such a crazy day, everyone's heads were already poorly organized, please treat this with understanding. According to our data, your order was ready for delivery at 7 pm, but it was delivered to your recipient at 8.15. The delay was indeed related to the transport company. Our own transport service was overloaded and we used the services of delivery transport services - Doordash, Uber, etc. to fulfill some of our orders. There is nothing wrong with that. Unfortunately, they do not work for free. You can be sure that the $15 you paid for delivery, we paid to the above services. As for the quality of the flowers, as I understand, you have no complaints, and the design corresponded to your choice. In order to be able to somehow correct the negative experience you had with us, we would like to provide a 20% DISCOUNT on your next order. We sent you a discount code by email. We hope for your understanding and wish you all the best.

Our couriers try to first reach out to the recipient to hand over the flowers to him/her or get instructions from them on what to do with flowers. Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist.
Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
