The Potted Plant is a unique and vintage chic garden center, gift shop and florist servicing the St. Charles County area. Privately owned and operated the owners take great pride in creating custom solutions to meet all of your gardening, gift and floral needs. Flowers are available for all those special events in your life; from new baby, to weddings and sympathy flowers too! We are honored to be the "preferred" florist for Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters. We deliver to Baue, Hutchens Stygar, Alternative, Paul Funeral Homes and all Churches in the St. Charles, St. Peters, and O'Fallon areas. I wrote a good review the day of the delivery, which was very prompt. However, most of the flowers in the arrangement started to brown, die and wilt within two days. This is the 4th day after receiving them and most of the flowers are dead. The arrangement was beautiful.
The arrangement was a fair price.
But they either used flowers at the end of their life (if they did a "made to order" arrangement, or they pulled the arrangement out of the cooler after being there for quite a while.
Usually their arrangements last more than 2 to 4 days.

I ordered the memorial stone at the last minute, and I was worried that it wouldn't be delivered before the service started, but it was. The family loved it, and thought it was a beautiful gift. I highly recommend purchasing any floral/memorial items you need from the potted plant. They was very efficient, and had an amazing turn around/delivery time! I would like to thank them for doing such an amazing job at the last minute!!!

We are traveling abroad and our daughter had to have surgery while we were away. Potted Plant's online ordering was so easy and convenient allowing us to send a bouquet to let our daughter know we were thinking of her. The shop is beautiful so I thought for sure this would be a perfect spot to order flowers. My Mom always loves to come here for planting flowers. I ordered this for Mother’s Day and it arrived very promptly on Friday. My Mom loved them and said they were so beautiful. Unfortunately by Mother’s Day Sunday evening was already sad. Thank you. The hydrangeas were drooping so she soaked them for a half hour and brought them a bit back to life.The gladiolus and greenery were shedding. The roses are trying to hang on. While my Mom loved them for the price I was a bit disappointed. I had actually stopped ordering flowers for delivery because it can be so hit and miss. Since I live out of this I decided to take another chance. I’m glad she was happy but I was disappointed with the lack of longevity. Thank you for speedy delivery and the beautiful work. Maybe better luck on longevity next time.

My past experiences had been positive so I am hoping this latest arrangement was an anomaly. The picture looks nice but it doesn't do the flowers justice in displaying just how small the arrangement is once received. The flowers themselves were in rough shape (starting to wilt), then add to that how SMALL the arrangement was for $120. The value for the money in this case was definitely not there. I am disgusted with this arrangement and that is a first since I started ordering flowers from The Potted Plant.

I called the shop and David was an Outstanding ambassador for your organization. He gave good suggestions when I gave pretty vague and ambiguous instruction, i.e. want it to look rich, easy to care for B2B arrangement. He said he would call me back he wanted to look at the inventory so he could give me what I wanted. He called right back and told me he could take care of my plant requirements and needs. He took my order and I gave him my incorrect credit card information and when I called back in David was busy but a girl asked if she could get the information. I felt like I was a VIP customer. While the plant was beautiful the card was incorrect and the handwriting not good. They left off a name (mine) and it was not written in the manner shown on the draft I approved (correct lines, etc.) I was under the impression that it would be a computer generated card with nice printing that used a font resembling cursive writing that was easy to read.

I ordered these flowers for my wife to be delivered on 2/13/21. It was bitter cold outside with single digit temperatures. Neither of us was at home when they attempted to deliver them. The florist contacted my wife to tell her she had a delivery of flowers but they didn't want to leave them outside because of the cold. They asked her how long she was going to be out so they could return to deliver them. After she arrived home, they brought them back to the house. They were not only beautiful flowers but Potted Plant Florist went above and beyond with their customer service. I will refer them to everyone I know. Thank you for a great experience!

I ordered two of these-one for each of our moms. We live out of town and I was hoping to help them celebrate Mother's Day in some way, especially with the way things are going this year. The flowers both arrived beautiful/similar to the picture provided and I just checked in-they're still looking good 5 days later. Such a cute arrangement for my 12 year old daughter. I ordered “designer’s choice” and the designer really paid attention to my notes and came up with such a fun arrangement. First time I used this florist and they were very eager to please. So eager that they accidentally sent the flowers a week early. When I called to let them know they were very gracious and offered to send another (different) bouquet on the following week. I couldn’t pick out anything at that time so I told them what sort of colors and flowers she liked and asked them to help me find something from there. I ordered a bouquet from The Potted Plant for my friend's birthday. Due to the season, a couple of the flowers pictured in the bouquet were not available, but I was contacted immediately by the shop explaining why they were not available. They then provided alternative flowers to put in their place and made sure I was ok with the changes. I was sent frequent updates about my order's status, and they even sent me a picture of the finished product. I thought this was such a great, personal touch, especially considering the small changes that needed to be made to the flowers. My friend received her flowers on the date requested, and we both could not have been any happier.
