About Us
The Petal Thing is a floral studio based in Cornelius, North Carolina, specializing in modern, Korean-inspired floral design. The studio offers thoughtfully curated bouquets, flower boxes, wreaths, and custom arrangements that emphasize natural movement, softness, and emotion. Rather than traditional, symmetrical styles, the designs feel organic and artistic, created to tell a story or mark meaningful moments. The Petal Thing also provides custom floral work for events and weddings, along with seasonal offerings and educational flower-care content.
Valentyna Andrade is the founder and creative force behind The Petal Thing. Originally from Ukraine, her background and life experiences deeply influence her artistic approach to floristry. Inspired by Korean and Asian floral aesthetics, Valentyna focuses on intentional design, emotional expression, and one-of-a-kind arrangements. Our subscriptions allow you to select a delivery frequency that best suits your needs - either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.

You will be billed 5 days before the delivery schedule you select (either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). This is to ensure your florist will have adequate time to prepare your order.
How do I make changes to my subscription plan?
You can call the florist any time before the scheduled delivery or pickup date to make changes to your subscription plan and orders.
Can I pause my subscription plan?

Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist.
Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received
cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone.
Florists that offer same-day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in
their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the
following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field
during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences.
Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in
advance.
