Peonies have gained tremendous popularity in recent years, and it's no surprise. These exquisite flowers are often associated with late spring and early summer, particularly the peak of the peony season in May and June. At The Peonies Shop, we offer a wide range of peony varieties throughout the year, as we have been working with these stunning flowers since 2012.

How much are peonies in New York

The price of peonies can vary depending on the season. We source our peonies from flower auctions in Holland, where prices fluctuate weekly. Since peonies are seasonal flowers, the price in May can differ significantly from the price in March. Nonetheless, the demand for peonies continues to grow each year.

When is the best time to get peonies?

We are proud to offer peonies year-round. In late autumn, usually November, we import peonies from New Zealand and Chile, showcasing extraordinary varieties. From the end of April, peonies from Holland, France, Italy, and other European regions become available, offering a vast selection of white, pink, and powder-colored peonies, along with various captivating shades.

Substitution Policy

In some instances, the florists’ photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated. Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you've selected, the local florist will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal or higher value.

Delivery Policy

Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist. Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.

Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone. Florists that offer same day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.

To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences. Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in advance.
