Dawn Adams and Mandy Dougherty
Our distinctive and natural design style is evident in everything that leaves our shop, from our delivered gifts to our weddings and events. The goal of our designers is to provide each and every client with a completely unique botanical experience through our textural, organically styled, and artful compositions, as well as our extraordinary attention to detail. Our studio continually strives to create cutting edge, individualized designs in all the projects we take on, whether large or small. The result of this dedication is evident in a wide variety of the freshest flowers, beautiful and unusual plant materials, and an infinite number of fabulous design elements that are used each day. I ordered the Ashlyn arrangement for a friend's birthday, as I wanted something extra-special to celebrate her in what has been a challenging year. My hope was to remind this dear person how loved she is, and that she's never alone. Her husband sent me a photo yesterday of her holding the gorgeous bouquet, with a radiant smile on her face. The Nature of Things has created beautiful things for me several times now (including a baby shower and a retirement party), and they are superb at what they do. If you are searching for a gifted florist who is attentive to details and will take great pains to add the little touches you might request, you have found your shop and your people. Hi there, I was informed by my brother that you all delivered to the wrong location and they had to track down the flowers. I’ve ordered a few times from you to them as recipients in the past and never encountered any issues. This was a major inconvenience to them as they were prepping for a baptism and celebration to welcome visiting family. I confirmed the address is correct and the map takes them directly there so I’m not sure what the confusion was but hopefully it doesn’t happen again to me or to others ordering a flower delivery.

I was extremely impressed with their customer service. Someone called me to let me know they didn’t have 1 of the flowers pictured in stock and asked if it was okay to swap it out for a flower in the same price range. From the moment I got on the phone till the end of the experience, it was exceptional service! I live in Oregon and my mother lives in Riverside. I scoured the internet and found this wonderful shop and the amazing photos of their unique and beautiful flower arrangements! I completed my order by phone and they even sent me photos and a video of the flowers once completed. I had used some other shops in Riverside for the past 2 years and was very disappointed with my purchases. I am so glad I found The Nature of Fine Things. It was my mother's 87th birthday and I wanted 87 flowers. She suggested deep purple frayed carnations with hints of white on the edges. What a lovely suggestion. She arranged the 87 carnations in 2 foot long box and made it look like the carnations were growing out of the ground in the wild. She added grass and greenery and WOW. Spectacular! I would highly recommend this shop to anyone who wants more than the standard unimaginative flower arrangements you see everywhere. She is truly an ARTIST. She also made a single flower arrangement for my Father to give to my Mother (they have been married 67 years) and it was every bit as beautiful! She used a beautiful handmade pot from a local potter. Thank you for making my mothers birthday a memorable and beautiful one. My mother is going to live to be 100 so I will be purchasing flowers every birthday from The Nature of Fine Things from here on out. Great job.

The actual product, which while identical to the product shown (it comes in 3 sizes), it was more abundant with plants and had the sweetest bird nesting as well. Many companies both large and small throw around the term "bespoke" when describing their products but few are able to actually capture it's true meaning. This is exactly what The Nature of Things did with my order. When selecting the bouquet I wanted to order for my wife, the Bohemian Vibe spoke to me immediately. Loved the flowers for my parents. I myself am a florist and live out of state. It took time to find someone local who has the same esthetic. The style, vase and overall arrangement was as pictured, just a bit more white than purple/blue and a little less variety only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Overall very satisfied and would reccomend to others in the IE.

I love this florist and love the arrangements when I walk in to pick one out. However, the arrangement I had delivered to a friend did not look like the picture on the website. It did not have as many blooms nor was it as carefully arranged. Even the main color of the flowers were different than pictured. It was still a nice bouquet, just not as lovely as expected.

I called @ 1pm to inquire what general time my delivery was scheduled for only to get an attitude and bitchy reply about how busy it was being valentine’s day and a general timeframe that was 3 hours off. the arrangement I paid close to $200 for was subpar at best. the flowers were wilting. I paid for a premium upgrade yet it hardly looked anything like the pictured arrangement online. I’ll never use this place for any flower needs I have in the future.

I was excited about using this florist, first time. I even upgraded the arrangement. My friend sent me the picture when she received it and may I say I’m a bit disappointed. I don’t think it looks anything like what I ordered. Design, color, missing the big pretty center flower, etc. I definitely overspent when I see what she received and am not as excited about it as I was when I ordered it.

So pleased with the arrangement and service provided by The Nature of Things! My sister was hospitalized across the country from me, so I had to rely on TNOT - a florist that was unfamiliar to me - to make her smile.
