We take great pleasure in combining exceptional, fresh flowers with unexpected elements to create truly stunning botanical art. The Nature of Things is a way of life for our designers and we are constantly striving to find new angles on the fusion of both man-made and organic materials. It is our ambition to fulfill our client's vision and help each individual create unparalled memories. Our thoughtful, beautiful and affordable botantical compositions are also available for home delivery, corporate presentation, or any purpose for which a touch of uncommon beauty is desired. It is our mission to provide each client with our undivided attention as well as our extraordinary attention to detail.
Substitution Policy
In some instances, the florists’ photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated. Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you've selected, the local florist will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal or higher value.
Delivery Policy
Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist. Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone. Florists that offer same day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences. Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in advance.

They are spectacular, fresh and gorgeous, with the extra little touches and details Dawn and her friends always take care to include. These are never "formula" bouquets...so creative and special! I ordered the Ashlyn arrangement for a friend's birthday, as I wanted something extra-special to celebrate her in what has been a challenging year. My hope was to remind this dear person how loved she is, and that she's never alone. Her husband sent me a photo yesterday of her holding the gorgeous bouquet, with a radiant smile on her face. Thank you for helping me make this day special for her! The Nature of Things has created beautiful things for me several times now (including a baby shower and a retirement party), and they are superb at what they do. If you are searching for a gifted florist who is attentive to details and will take great pains to add the little touches you might request, you have found your shop and your people. I cannot speak highly enough of this shop, and have recommended them many times to family and friends. I live across the country now, but when I want something beautiful for people I love in Riverside, I know exactly who to turn to. The arrangement was beautiful and delivered exactly as requested, however I was disappointed that a few of the flowers were wilted and limp. Having paid extra for an upgrade of Premium, seeing even just a few wilted flowers was an unexpected disappointment. ---- Florist's response: Thank you for taking the time to review, Dianne. We were sorry to hear that the clematis in the arrangement was perceived as being wilted, they have a naturally hanging aspect to them, but they were bought fresh that morning as we mentioned to you over the phone. As always, the flowers were fresh and gorgeous and the personal service impeccable. Since first working with The Nature of Things in 2014 (Dawn created beautiful table bouquets for a baby shower), I've never been anything but delighted. The sweet details (birds and nests; twigs and interesting greenery) elevate the beauty of the flowers and make my heart happy. My Mom loved her birthday flowers and can't stop exclaiming over them.
