I was not able to attend the funeral out of state, but if the picture is the actual arrangement that was sent, it is lovely. The online order process was very easy to use and was much less expensive than the arrangements offer through the funeral home. The roses are truly beautiful, but they are pink. I ordered lavender, and I called before placing the order to ensure lavender was in stock. I was assured that they were available, but that is not what she received. My wife is not a pink person. Had I known that she couldn't get lavender, I would have chosen another color.

Great service! I ordered online but before I finished, I called to be sure I got what I wanted. I ordered the "florists choice" or something like that. Basically, I pay what I want and they fix up a bouquet based on my price.
It was just what I wanted and BEAUTIFUL. My mother says she'll be able to keep the bouquet going by re-sizing as the flowers wilt away.

Very disappointed. Bought flowers for my wife for her birthday spent $128 on a deluxe order and it was the smallest flower arrangement. Online it looks like an pretty good size especially for that price. Could’ve gone to HEB and got a similar arrangement for $75 definitely could’ve gotten much more for $128. I will not buy from here again.

I’ve been using this florist for decades here in San Antonio. They’ve never let me down. They accidentally forgot the chocolates that were supposed to go with the flowers that I ordered, and they came back and delivered the chocolates before I even realized something was missing! You couldn’t ask for anything more than that. Just an excellent florist!

This florist is close to where my sister lives at Canyon oaks subdivision they delivered flowers for me from Florida last year on her birthday and she was very happy with them. This year I ordered a burlap Orange wreath to put on her door with a Brown bow she was very happy. She called me around 4 o'clock yesterday and was very happy .She should be able to use it every year until Thanksgiving Day.

The staff at The Last Straw Florist are very friendly and helpful! I placed an order from out of town and I was sending it to an address that I was unfamiliar with. I had some concerns about the delivery since the person I was sending them to is a day sleeper. The flowers were delivered right on time. I requested no contact delivery because of the pandemic. They called the recipient to be sure that they knew the flowers were at the door and then they called me to let me know that the flowers had just been delivered. I realize that I was ordering for a funeral on Mother's Day, but I feel that ya'll could have done better. I ordered this expensive plant to be delivered for the viewing and/or the rosary for my Uncle. I ordered on Saturday and your site says next day delivery. Unfortunately, your next day turned out to be next night (AFTER the Rosary). I was unable to attend but my sister said that the plant was not worth the cost. You neglected to include the card that I filled out, instead indicating that it was from just me when, in fact, it was from all my siblings. It is difficult enough to loose a loved one, unable to attend the funeral due to virus and unable to speak with a florist about an arrangement. In spite of the virus I was expecting more from you, a hometown florist. Next time I will just use 1800Flowers.

I definitely expected more. I understand that flowers were in high demand for the day that I had mine delivered but the flowers I received looked absolutely nothing like the picture. If you didn’t have the flowers as shown in the pictures I would have expected the quantity of flowers substituted to have remained the same. Paid for a certain quantity and received much less. Flowers were lifeless when arriving to my door.

Vase was loaded with flowers that were so big they overpowered the bouquet and seemed as though arrangement was trying to use them as fillers, my family recently ordered all my husband’s funeral flowers from you and I was very pleased, sort of embarrassed on these.

The purchase was easy and my wife was over the moon. She called to tell me she got the flowers and was almost in tears. Yes, I made a fantastic choice so part of it was me (ahem), but she raved about the vase, the arrangement and the quality of the flowers. I made a small special request that the florist honored and it made my wife so happy. They called to ask about a substitution because some of the flowers weren't fully opened yet which was pretty nice of them. The delivery came within a few hours. These guys are my flower guys now.
