The Flowerman, Inc.
Formerly Simpson's Garden Town, The Flowerman was established in 1928 in East Pasadena. Family owned and operated for 4 generations, we proudly serve the greater Pasadena are from our base location on the corner of Foothill and Sierra Madre Blvd. We deliver from our store to most of Los Angeles County, and through our network of professional florists nationally and internationally. Lou Quismorio has been in the Floral industry for many years. His first job as a teenager was working in a shop in New York. He was a helper and clean-up guy in the design room. He worked his way up to top designer and General Manager in 1991. After college and grad school, Lou has returned and is brimming with enthusiasm to guide The Flowerman into the 21st century. Already a top choice for flowers in Pasadena, The Flowerman is thriving under young and energetic leadership. Lou's passion for flowers is surpassed only by his genuine enjoyment of working with customers to ensure their satisfaction in their floral choices. Our subscriptions allow you to select a delivery frequency that best suits your needs - either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
How often will I be billed?
You will be billed 5 days before the delivery schedule you select (either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). This is to ensure your florist will have adequate time to prepare your order.
How do I make changes to my subscription plan?
You can call the florist any time before the scheduled delivery or pickup date to make changes to your subscription plan and orders.
Can I pause my subscription plan?
Yes, you can! contact us at (626) 795-1508, let us know the next best delivery date and we’ll pause your subscription.
How do I cancel my subscription plan?

I was disappointed that the flowers that got delivered were not at all like pictured on the website. Not even the vase was pink. The vase was a clear vase. The flowers were not colorful at all like. The picture is misleading as when my fiance received the tulips they were pink instead of the deep purple to match the ribbon. There was also filler greenery that was not the healthiest and some of the tulips stems were not green but dark and dying. I was very disappointed with my order. The recipient sent me a picture of what they received. It did not look like what was shown on the website. The roses looked pink or peach color. The roses should of been yellow as shown in the picture. The arrangement looked terrible with two flowers that didn't fit in with the color scheme. The roses were not beautiful to say the least with the exception of some. In addition, the order was significantly smaller with only a few roses to begin with?? Unfortunately I there is no way to review what was sent to the family who suffered the loss of their father. It would be nice if a picture of what was is being sent is taken and sent to the person who made the purchase before it's delivered. It would be nice to know your happy with your purchase and not have to hope and pray it was fresh, full, green, well put together and respectful to the situation at hand. So it's sort of disappointing in that respect and asking for a review really doesn't apply.

This arrangement was absolutely stunning! The description does not give details on how tall the overall stand is or how large the arrangement is so I was nervous about that since I wanted a tall flower arrangement. I was not disappointed. The flowers were beautiful and placed just like the picture. The height was perfect and was at eye level. I did a custom build for $100 and I couldn't be more pleased! It was fresh with no wilted flowers and it arrived early as requested (On mothersday). It had everything between carnations to succulents in it and followed the colour scheme of purple like I asked for. Past experiences with The Flowerman have been nothing short of great however I had a mediocre experience during this last order. The premium flower arrangement did not meet expectations based on the additional cost. Aside from that, delivery was not made until the later evening and they didn't make it to the house without calling me and asking to speak with the recipient of the flowers. This really bothered me as googling the address takes you straight to the correct home. I tried to communicate with the delivery driver however they kept requesting to speak with the recipient. This really disappointed me as it really took the surprise of the flowers away. I got a call from the recipient thanking me for the flowers before they had even been delivered, imagine that. I hate having to write this but I was pretty disappointed with this order and I hope it was just a fluke as I understand how hectic Valentine's day can be.

I just expected more than basic for that, i ordered 2 weeks ahead to request a 2 hour time window, and it was 5 hours late, at the very end of the day, the whole point was for her to enjoy it durring the day, and the same thing happened last time, either it was on the truck for 6hours as a priority or the forgot it and just thru something together even as i called to check status went from yes everything fine to oh crap let me call you back! I know you are busy, but for a repeat customer who orders early i expect more, not to mention paying for 2 upgrades for an arrangement that looks like it came from wal-mart compared to the stock picture... im just disappointed

It was my daughters 20th birthday. I was hoping to have the flowers delivered to her job but they never showed up. Apparently there was a mix up, delivered to the wrong address and to someone with a very similar name to my daughter. (It happens) At first I was very disappointed, but I’m giving the location 4 stars primarily due to the service of the owner, Lou. He reached out personally, explained what happened, offered to credit me for the purchase and still deliver a little something to make up for the error. For me, the service and the ability to admit the mistake and then fix it means the world. He even emphasized that if I order in the future to contact him directly and I’ll be offered a substantial discount. The arrangements on the flower man website far surpass other flower shops in the area so I certainly plan to order again in the near future... I say definitely give this place a go!!! Especially knowing the level of service the provide.

From the photo, it looks like for about $80 we got seven somewhat sad-looking roses left on the front porch to wilt. I know there are huge markups in flower delivery, but at the very least I'd have wanted something more like the photo at right -- at least a dozen spry-looking roses put together with some care. Flowerman contacted me to let me know and worked with me to change it to a tasteful "Sympathy" arrangement and arranged to have that delivered. I asked for a different color vase and it wasn't delivered. I also asked can it be delivered at a certain time and it was delivered before then, which left the delivery guy standing out there because there wasn't anyone to receive them. I also stated that because of my job I might not answer my phone because I was on the floor but it was still called. I appreciate the flowers as it made her day but it was if my request and instructions were ignored. May have to go with a different company next time. I have placed previous orders in the past, the last time the woman who delivered wasn't that nice also.

I purchased to this beautiful Poinsettia on line. The Flowerman, Inc. had the best description, i.e. size, packaging and this was important to me. A lot of the other websites gave little to "0" description. But the best part was how happy receiving this poinsettia made my Aunt. She did say the bowl was quite heavy (however she is 88 and doesn't carry things well.) If this or any arrangement is for an older person, it may be a good idea to ask about the actual size and weight of the product. the retirement home recommends this Flowerman in Pasadenaand I agree with them.

This florist is extremely customer service focused! My friend ended up in ICU and I didn't realize she was unable at that time to receive flowers. Flower man called me to give me the status. They committed to checking in with the hospital frequently throughout the next few days checking on her location. When I did an online search for a florist, I found the Flowerman, but did not notice that this florist is located in Pasadena, CA. Lou Quismorio went above and beyond in not only attempting to contact me via email and phone about my mistake, but also trying to find a florist in Pasadena, TX that could fulfill my order for lei. This was a huge help and relief to me. Though Lou was unable to find a florist that does leis, he arranged for a beautiful bouquet to be sent to my niece. I have used Flowerman many times and have been happy with their service. This time around I was a bit disappointed because the flowers weren't delivered on time. I had emailed and asked them to be sent between 10am-12:30pm. At 1pm, they still had not been delivered so I called. The lady told me it would be another couple of hours and I told her they need to be within the hour. They were delivered at 2:10pm. The flowers in real life didn't have the Irises and just overall, didn't look as bright as they did in the photo, so that is also disappointing.

The only problem was when my wife recieved the flowers they were a light lavender /grey, not purple like the picture. Her favorite color is purple so that's why I picked this arrangement. I alway order from Flower man and have never had a problem. That my only complaint.

This is my second time ordering from Flower man. The next day or same day delivery is probably the best thing ever! And they get it there right when you want it delivered.... The only thing that made me kind of iffy was I paid for the flowers I've seen on the website. I got less flowers then the picture little upset about it. I know there are different levels of arrangements but the arrangement I order was perfect but when my girlfriend received it.there was more green then flowers. She was happy but in the back of my head it wasn't right. But anywho thanks flowerman.

I sent an arrangement to a friend at Huntington Hospital. I placed my order in the late morning and it was delivered in the afternoon. She called just to tell me how beautiful it was. I had asked for shades of pink. her favorite colors, and she said there were several types, not just roses and carnations. It can be iffy when you can't see your order but I would use Flowerman again in a heartbeat. Although I live out of town, I still have friends and family in Pasadena so I will have the opportunity.

The bouquet that was delivered barely resembled the one shown on the website. I know there is a disclaimer that some substitutions from what is pictured are possible, but at what point does it go from substitution to deception? I honestly would have been better off purchasing a bouquet at a supermarket at a fraction of the cost. Lesson learned.

I think 100 dollar for roses is really expensive. They didnt give me an expected time of delivery so it came while my girlfriend was at lunch so she didnt even get the surprise of the delivery. Really disapointed with that.

I was a little hesitant to use Flowerman at first, only because it seemed like a larger company. Basically my concern was that my order would get lost or forgotten because I assumed they get lots of orders daily. I was so wrong!! The bouquet chosen was not the exact replica that was received. I understand that there are limitations due to the season, but it is important to advise the customer before the order is placed. Also the premium upgrade had a lot of green leaves and not an extra amount of flowers.

I have been looking for a local florist who will provide more than the pro flowers.com or teleflora floral conglomerates out there. I read the reviews on Yelp and saw specifics of the quality of the flowers. I've placed 2 orders within 2 days. I just received the picture of one of the deliveries. I was a bit disappointed. The quality is not the same as the image and description. Yes, very similar and yes I understand it won't be exact, but when I see purple, white, peach and other colored orchids, I expect to pay for the color orchid I viewed and chose. The picture of the one I ordered was a peach color which to me stood out more than the others. The one she sent me was white. Plain white. I will most likely order again because the delivery was same day, the flowers were still beautiful and I want to use a local florist. But, please try and duplicate what you advertise. From the photo my friend sent there was only one rose in her bouquet, when the advertisement for the 'regular' arrangement indicated three.
