At The Blooming Bud, your happiness is at the heart of everything we do. We are a small, family-owned flower shop based in Olathe, Kansas — creating thoughtfully designed floral arrangements for life’s meaningful moments. Our cozy studio is located inside a beautifully restored 75-year-old gas station that has been transformed into a warm and inviting floral + gift space. We specialize in local flower delivery throughout the Olathe area and surrounding communities, and we pride ourselves on providing kind, personal service and attention to detail with every order. Our shop also features a curated selection of plants and sustainable gifts. Proudly supporting Fair Trade and eco-conscious makers, we believe flowers — and shopping — should be both beautiful and responsible.
Flowers have always been a passion of mine. I believe every arrangement should feel fresh, intentional, and full of heart. I carefully select and process each bloom so it looks its very best — maintaining color, shape, and lasting beauty. My goal is always to listen to my clients and create something that feels meaningful and uniquely “them.” Whether I’m designing a bouquet or styling plants, I love bringing creativity and joy to every piece I create.

How will I receive a new bouquet?
Our subscriptions allow you to select a delivery frequency that best suits your needs - either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.
How often will I be billed?
You will be billed 5 days before the delivery schedule you select (either weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). This is to ensure your florist will have adequate time to prepare your order.
How do I make changes to my subscription plan?
You can call the florist any time before the scheduled delivery or pickup date to make changes to your subscription plan and orders.
Can I pause my subscription plan?
Yes, you can! contact us at (913) 603-9055, let us know the next best delivery date and we’ll pause your subscription.
How do I cancel my subscription plan?
We’d be happy to take care of that for you! Please contact us at (913) 603-9055 and we’ll cancel your subscription right away.

I’m very sorry again for the delivery mix-up — that was our mistake, and I personally made the delivery the following day to make sure you received your flowers as quickly as possible.
As for the design, the “Amazing Alstroemeria” arrangement you ordered was created exactly according to the BloomNation product photo — same vase, same number of stems, and a blend of four colors of alstroemeria. These blooms naturally vary in shade and stage of bloom, so each arrangement has its own unique character, but the fullness and value were exactly as represented.
I take a lot of pride in my work and in resolving any issues right away. While I wish your experience reflected the care and effort that went into correcting the situation, I appreciate the opportunity to serve you and stand behind the quality of what was delivered.

Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist.
Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received
cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone.
Florists that offer same-day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in
their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the
following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field
during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences.
Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in
advance.
