We’re thrilled to work with Len Busch Roses, a grower of beautiful blooms and plants in 15 acres of greenhouses in Plymouth, MN. We’re also a member of the Twin Cities Flower Exchange, which allows us to source amazing blooms from independent Minnesota flower farmers, including Gullywash Gardens, Honken' Dahlias, Green Earth Growers, Blue Sky Flower Farm, and many more. We also work with local farmers like Milkhouse Flowers and Little Roots Flower Farm to promote the use of locally grown blooms every day. Sustainably Sourced In addition to Minnesota-grown flowers, Sweet Alice sources from sustainable growers worldwide, including Rio Roses, Fresca Farms, Rosa Prima, and Elite Flower. We pay attention to sustainable farming practices as well as working conditions and living wages when selecting our suppliers.

Sara Nett, CFD
Owner Sara Nett, her husband, and their five-year-old kiddo purchased a 2,300-square-foot building on St. Peter’s main drag in mid-2017. With 27 years of experience in theatrical construction and design, freelance artistry, and bespoke tailoring, she was eager to branch out (pun intended) into a new artistic medium. Pulling from her decades of experience in customer service, management, and retail shop ownership, she settled on a vision and got to work building Sweet Alice. You'll find Ashley, Mady, and Rici helping out in the shop these days, keeping Sara on track. Teamwork makes the dream work, and the Sweet Alice team is the best!

I live on the west coast and Sweet Alice is my go to flower shop for delivery. I sent flowers for my Mom's 93rd. birthday, they didn't arrive during the window I chose. I called Sweet Alice, Sarah returned my call promptly, refunded my delivery charge and delivered the flowers to Mom, who lives in LeSuere, with in 30 to 45 minutes! For the last few years I’ve called Sweet Alice to order flowers for my son and daughter in laws Anniversary. I usually get the owner and she is always personable yet professional. The flowers are always what I ordered and very beautiful.

Gorgeous flowers and super fast same-day delivery in Saint Peter. I ordered on a whim for someone who I thought needed a pick me up, and there was just a two hour turnaround time from when I submitted the order! The corsage was very disappointing. The roses were "bruised" (something I had never heard of). They looked expired. It was not the lovely Mother's Day corsage I was expecting. That alone was enough for the one star. In addition, there were ribbons instead of an elastic band - I was told there would be an elastic band when I ordered. I requested something small - it wasn't. She did not wear it for long. I threw it away.
I was made to feel that somehow it was my fault -- email stated to check it before leaving next time. There was never an apology. I realize I was refunded 1/2 the cost. To be honest, I would have been happy with just an apology when I called.

The light pink gerbrea daisy was absolutely beautiful. The gerbreas for the corsage and boutonniere set were very lush and full. I could find no petals with brown spots. There were no pins provided for the boutonnière. We had to scramble to find something and ended up using a safety pin, which didn’t look nice at all. In addition, the boutonnière starting falling apart within an hour. The wrist corsage seemed to hold up okay, but overall what we received was not worth the money paid. We will definitely not be returning to your flower shop for anything in the future. Very disappointed!

I ordered this bouquet because it had tulips in it which is a favorite. In fact, I upgraded the bouquet which stated that there would be additional roses and tulips included. Didn't happen. Not one tulip. I wouldn't have ordered this if you couldn't fulfill it.

While the arrangement is different - it is not what I ordered. I wanted a variety of carnations that were bright and cheerful and for $85 - I was disappointed with three roses and tulips that will die quickly. Carnations were ordered due to their longevity. And a variety was ordered to be bright and cheerful - too many plants!

The flowers were absolutely beautiful. The ordering process was great. The only complaint that i would have may be my own fault... It is hard to tell from the picture the height of the arrangement. I did not pay attention to if that was listed in the description. I would suggest that if it is not listed to maybe do that? Most of the funeral arrangements were much bigger. Not that size is the most important...I just was expecting them to be taller.I loved getting a picture before they were sent. You are doing great...just wanna make it even better! When I order standard roses, I always get 60 or 70 cm in height; spray roses are cut at 40cm, so your arrangement would have been shorter than a standard rose arrangement.

Hi, Laura. Normally I wouldn't respond to a review of this nature, but in this instance, I felt it was both necessary and a wonderful teachable moment.
You ordered the Pretty Little Pick Me Up--Spray Roses from our website. In the product description, it clearly states that "colors may vary based on available stock." You stated in your review that the roses were the "wrong color". In a design where it is clearly stated that colors may vary, there is no such thing as a "wrong color", only a different color. I placed that statement in the product description to ensure that customers would understand that stock varies, and we would maintain the spirit of the design, regardless of the color. Oftentimes, when a customer sees our disclaimer and they desire specific colors, they include that information in the special instructions box. I do my best to accommodate any special instructions and call the customer directly if I cannot do so. In the case of your order, there were no special instructions. Being that I was out of hot pink spray roses, I used red, the color closest to hot pink that I had available in my cooler.
To continue, I'd like to address the quantity statement. If you look at the photo of the Pretty Little Pick Me Up--Spray Roses online, you'll see 4 open blooms, and two partially opened buds, in addition to 1 branch of eucalyptus and 3 pieces of purple statice. If you look at the BloomSnap sent by the shop prior to delivery, you'll see 5 open blooms, 1 partially open, and 2 fully closed buds that have not yet opened, in addition to multiple stems of eucalyptus, and 4 pieces of purple statice. I assume you were speaking of the statice when you said the quantity was wrong, as the quantity of the roses is clearly greater in the piece that was delivered. It may be hard to tell from the photo, but there are 2 pieces of statice, one on the left and one on the right, in the front of the vase, as well as 2 more, one on the left and one on the right, farther back in the vase. The quantity of flowers you received in the item you ordered is actually greater than the quantity in the photograph, making this assertion on your part false.
As I said in the first portion of this response, I wouldn't normally do. However, rather than contacting me directly via e-mail after receiving the bloom snap, and before the item was delivered, you chose to wait 2 days and then post a one-star review airing your complaint publicly. A public response to this review was my only opportunity to set the record straight, and help other customers reading this review realize that when I place disclaimers about colors in my descriptions, they're there to ensure the customer understands that they are not guaranteed an item that looks exactly like the photograph on the website.

To be honest I was very disappointed for the 2nd time. I order flowers from you for Mother's day and was let down by what was received since it looked nothing like the picture I chose from. Then I realized that it was designers choice so I assumed that meant it could be anything. So this time I ordered Minnesota Grown blooming bunch. The picture of what I received compared to the example if the picture you advertise is nothing short of disappointing. I realize that flowers are seasonal and not always going to look exactly the same as the photo but it should have the same basic feel. The photos on your website are always of beautiful full luscious bouquets but this picture looks like a few weeds pulled up from the yard. Unfortunately I will not be using your shop again. I rarely complain but this feels like a case of false adverstising.

Beautiful variety of colors! The bouquet would look better if it was arranged closer together (like in the photo). All I did is use the metal piece inside the vase to arrange the flower stems a little closer together. Otherwise they are beautiful, fragrant, and exactly what this momma needed!

I had a most wonderful experience one morning in April 2020 being able to select an arrangement as well as providing delivery information, and the bouquet was delivered by mid-afternoon. I received a notification when they were delivered right before the same time in which I received a text from the recipient thanking me for the flowers. I highly recommend Sweet Alice for the selection of arrangements as well as the service (and notifications) and the process (including a photo of the actual product before delivery) to the end result of the delivery.

Because of the isolation order I did not get to see the arrangement personally but my mother was very impressed with how beautiful the arrangement was but especially the quality and freshness of the flowers and the pretty vase they were in.

This is my second time using Sweet Alice and I couldn’t be happier. Fast and easy ordering, the flowers look great and the delivery fee is ridiculously inexpensive. (My only wish is that I was able to tip the delivery person in advance...but that’s a very minor quibble.)

Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist.
Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received
cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone.
Florists that offer same-day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in
their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the
