About Us
If there's one thing I want you to know about me, it's that working with plants and flowers makes my heart sing. I am a florist and horticulturist living in Stillwater where I garden, create floral designs, consult, teach and write about floriculture and horticulture. Besides flowers and plants, I enjoy traveling and seeking out local gardens, nurseries and florist shops to gain insight and inspiration that I bring to my designs, as well as sourcing unique flowers, plants and garden kit to share with you in your home and garden. With a passion for lifelong education, I continually work alongside and train with national caliber floral designers to make sure I’m at the top of my game and can bring my best to you. As the founder and creative designer of Fleur de Louise Flower Studio, I bring over 25 years of floral design and gardening experience. Before creating Fleur de Louise Flower Studio, I worked on numerous weddings and events in the Twin Cities as well as working in various local retail greenhouses and with the Minnesota State Horticultural Society. My education is from the University of Minnesota, the Historic Landscape Institute at the University of Virginia. and Koehler & Dramm Institute of Floristry in Minneapolis. Fleur de Louise is inspired by the shared name of my grandmother, Louise, my mother Harriet Louise and myself, Jennifer Louise. For at least these three generations, we have all had a love of flowers and of growing things.

I wanted to reach out again and apologize for the experience you've had with my business. I am truly sorry that you are disappointed with the rose, snapdragon, and waxflower arrangement that was delivered and I do wish that you had shared some information about your grandmother when you placed the order, for example how she loves fall. That would have made a difference in the finished design.
Because of your feedback, I will be working to update my website. There are a few designs that are listed as seasonal Designer's Choice arrangements and showcase a couple of photos to give an idea of different variations. The container and design style remain the same, but the flowers (and color palette) may vary from the photos online.
I know that you mentioned you would not have ordered a Designer's Choice, and that has made it apparent that the online ordering is not clear enough. I will be updating those designs to prevent this from happening again. I do appreciate you taking the time to offer feedback so that I can improve the customer experience.
I am saddened that I have become a source of frustration during this difficult time for you and your family, that was certainly not my intent.

Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist.
Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received
cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone.
Florists that offer same-day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in
their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the
following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field
during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences.
