Family owned and operated since 1985. We deliver to the entire metro area. We are a full service florist in the heart of Kansas City, MO just minutes from the downtown hotels and convention center. We carry a large selection of cut flowers and plants. WE DO NOT DO TIMED DELIVERIES ON ANY HOLIDAYS OR ON MONDAYS. When you order a Premium it comes in a taller 12 inch vase with a much larger opening than the 4 inches on the standard. The Premium there for will be bigger and with more flowers. I happen to stumble across Steve’s when I was looking up locally owned florists. I wanted something different than you would get from a grocery store. I wanted a beautiful arrangement that was good size, sophisticated, and original. So I ordered online and again was worried about what I’d get because I’ve had bad experiences ordering flowers online with other florists before. But this arrangement exceeded all my expectations. This florist went ABOVE and beyond! We needed this to arrive early (before the flower shop opened) . This is not just a place that ships flowers. These were hand delivered to the church in time for a funeral of a dear family member. I was not able to fly in for funeral, so it was so important that I could speak with someone. Funny story: I accidentally chose a funeral arrangement to cheer up my wife. whoops. Luckily, I got a call from Steve’s Floral. They noticed that the message on my card did not match the arrangement and offered to prepare something more fitting. Of course I differed to the pros and I’m glad I did. This was for a family member who had undergone some medical stuff and needed some cheering up for the holidays. It arrived on time, was reasonable in price since I could not be there and had to be delivered, and recipient was not only surprised but loved it! I loved that I could find something that spoke “holiday cheer”, small enough for the occasion for which it was meant, and could be reused next Christmas holiday in some way. The flowers complimented the holiday and the ornament vase, which was not just a traditional vase. Overall, the arrangement put a huge smile in our hearts, both recipient and sender alike! I ordered (cheaper side $40) floral order, on wed to be delivered thurs to a local hospital (friend had surgery). Little did I know said friend was being discharged early! I was not impressed. The tulips were nothing like what was pictured. They looked to have been put together by a child and the card with the flowers had multiple typos, which did not match the receipt. Honestly, I will not be placing another order in the future.

The online post said that the $65, + delivery and tax that came to $85, bouquet would be very much like the picture. When our flowers were delivered, it wasn't near a full as the picture showed. I paid $65 for a bouquet at dillons and got a bouquet that was three times in size and look way nicer. I was just very disappointed because these flowers were to surprise my wife at dinner for our 1 year anniversary and they just weren't worth the value to me.

I have always had a great experience every time I’ve used Steves Florist. Recently I ordered some flowers on a Friday at 8:00a.m. to be delivered on our anniversary to my wife’s office. This is the first time I have used Steve’s but the location and reviews were good so I thought I’d give it a try. Sorry to say that I was a little disappointed. Don’t get me wrong, the flowers are lovely and seem to be fresh. It’s just that I upgraded my order and would be curious what the regular order would have been? It is a fairly unimpressive bouquet for the money. I have ordered from many different florists in the midtown and downtown area and feel I will be better off using Trapps or Fidley Fig in the future as they have always been top notch. In the pic my friend sent. The Tea Cup was exact and had a nice stand to show off the plate with the cup. The flower arrangement had light pink and dark pink Carnations in it. When I expected all roses and there was no baby's breath It had about 6 little pink roses maybe more I only had a picture of one site and two giant White roses that stuck out like a sore thumb. I would have preferred just all pink roses. It was pretty enough but for the price, it could have been better. They were very quick to deliver. Next time I think I would call and ask what exactly would be in the arrangement.

I ordered flowers for a co-worker's birthday. I wanted same day delivery and since she usually stays until 5:00 pm, I didn't put a rush on it. When she decided to leave early and the arrangement hadn't arrived, I called Steve's and asked if there was any way that they could deliver within the next 20 minutes. The delivery driver was out making deliveries so Steve brought them himself. That is customer service and that is why I always choose Steve's Floral.

I live in Arizona and so sending flowers locally in Kansas City was a bit daunting as I wanted to send the perfect flowers. So I decided and called Steve's floral to see if they could deliver the next day since this was done on my part at the last minute. They assured me they could and so I used their website to make my choice and order. I looked to see what I wanted for my aunt's bday and the arrangement that showed up was the highlight of her day. Was really disappointed that I ordered and paid $150 for calla lilies and ended up having to be stuck with 18 white roses. Not the best first experience, but I can tell they have great quality flowers and put the time into delivering an excellent product at the point of delivery. Despite not having what I purchased, the customer service was still good. I would recommend posting on your website that your out of something before a consumer is allowed to purchase. Also, you should look to use a different credit card processor so you don't have to tell me that it will be a few days before I can get my money back from them and then have to rerun my card for the new total. That's not the ideal method for the consumer or policy to operate under as a business. Overall, I'd say my first experience here was a 5/10.

Steve's Floral Shop has a website that is easy to use and has beautiful pictures of their "product". However, the actual floral arrangement looked pathetic compared to the picture. I sent my sister the smiley face mug with yellow and white daises and yellow roses. There were half as many flowers as shown in the picture and you could see into the cup through the arrangement. I was trying to cheer my sister up and not disappoint her with avmediocre flower arrangement that was overpriced. Granted they did deliver on a short notice.
