The bouquet was even more beautiful than the photo online and they were able to deliver flowers the day I ordered ... even thought I placed the order around noon that day. I worked with Maria at Stanford Floral Design to purchase floral arrangements for a formal awards dinner at Stanford. Even though I placed the order on short notice, Maria was quick, professional, extremely helpful, and the flowers looked great! The delivery driver, Lucia, also did a superb job of making sure the flowers arrived at the event venue on time and in good condition, and Lucia even coordinated with the venue to make sure the flowers were set out on all the tables before I even arrived.
I have nothing but great things to say, and am super grateful to Maria and Lucia for making the flowers at this event a smashing success! The arrangements were so well-liked that there weren't any left at the end of the night--everyone took one home!

Although the recipient loved the memorial flowers, I was disappointed with the fullness of the arrangement. I chose the “deluxe” size for extra fullness. The size shown on the website said it was standard size (the smaller size), so I went a size up and unfortunately when the recipient sent me a photo of what was delivered it did not appear deluxe. The beauty of this “Silence” arrangement is the all white appearance…the arrangement we received was overshadowed with sooooo many green leafy parts & not a rich bloom of white florals. It definitely wasn’t worth the deluxe pricing. I should have went with the standard if it got my closer to looking like the website photo.

There are lots of this type of businesses in the market either they are fake, not sending same selection of your flowers.
Be careful and call the local companies and ask them their address and location close to your sending address.

I have removed one star from perfect because of the delivery process. I requested delivery within window of two hours. The flowers arrived 45 minutes after the window, we weren't home and the flowers had to be left outside. The problem is that the sun heat blow one of the balloons.

This photo clearly depicts Dahlia-like flowers. That is not what the recipient received. Instead, what appears to be dahlias in the photo was replaced with Gerber Daisies, a far more common and less expensive flower than Dahlias. The orchid was gorgeous. the only problem we had was Stanford Hospital, who left it at the Nurses' station for two days!
I didn't know I had to call the nurses's station, to make sure the orchid was delivered. That was tough to hear, as our friend is very ill, and she just sent a photo of an emptying hourglass to one of our friends, so two days matter to us.

Unfortunately my arrangement looked strange and somber due to substitutions. The bouquet was mostly made up of indigo purple flowers and tangerine gerbera daisies with black centers (looked nothing like the picture in terms of form or color). When I placed the order, the florist called to say that she didn't have the exact daisy pictured, and I said that it was okay to substitute for something similar and, since I knew it wouldn't look exactly the same, asked to vary toward a brighter, lighter look than pictured. Upon pick up, I didn't feel like I could use arrangement as-is (e.g., Halloween vs. early summer) and, since I had paid for the Premium upgrade, asked to replace a couple of flowers that were already brown. The florist grew increasingly curt and rude but with reluctance provided a few extra stems, which I appreciated. It was an okay arrangement in the end, but the experience left me disappointed and was unnecessarily stressful overall.

I ordered the Rose Garden bouquet online for my mom for Mother's Day. Overall, online ordering was easy, but the bouquet looked far better in the pictures than in real life. I wanted to support a local business especially as the pandemic continues, but it was disappointing to spend money on an arrangement that bore maybe a 50% resemblance to what was advertised. It was still a bouquet, but definitely not what I would have wanted to gift my mom with. I feel bad leaving a review that's not super stellar, but I hope Stanford Floral will either post more true-to-life photos in their advertisement of the bouquets online, or will conform their arrangements to look like they do in the photos they advertise with. The woman who answered the phone when I inquired if the bouquet was on its way (the shop does not tell you if it is out for delivery) was very nice, so customer-service wise, this is a great flower shop.

I had asked and wrote to call before delivery of the flowers. In case no one would be there to receive the flowers, and they can not remain outside. They left the flowers and no one was going to be there until two days later. You don't leave a floral arrangement outside in the elements for a day or two! That is why I said call first!

I called Stanford Floral Design, and they did not want the take the chance of missing the recipient at the hospital. They suggested delivering the arrangement to the recipient's home, even though it was outside their normal delivery area. Now that's what I call service!!!

The picture of what I ordered and what was delivered were not similar. When I complained, Stanford Floral Design offered to pick up the flowers and refund my money. I explained this was not an option as the flowers were a gift. So I threw down over $100 for something I did not bargain for, and was not compensated for the switch. As the saying goes, buyer beware!

I found Stanford Floral Design on Yelp because I wanted to avoid a nationwide service's site and deal with a florist local to Palo Alto directly. My family was sending an arrangement to my sister-in-law for her birthday - the first one she was experiencing after the passing of my brother/her husband. I was very disappointed with the actual product that was sent in contrast to the photo of what i thought I had purchased. Dahlias were swapped for gerber daisies and it wasn’t nearly as full as the photo.

To be honest, this was the most disappointing bouquet I have ever sent. It was okay, but so small; even some extra greens could have made it better. Ordered it for same day delivery and they delivered the flowers 4 hours later!!! I did not have the room number but when I called the floral shop, they assured me they would call the hospital ahead of time to get the flowers into the right hands. All of the mini roses were wilted and brown. The gerbers have already died on day 2. And it wasn't left out in the cold on the porch, we live in CA. Based on Yelp reviews I had high hopes that the flowers would resemble the pic shown. I picked this arrangement because there were yellow tulips (my daughter's fav color and flower). I also upgraded. However, there were no tulips in the arrangement sent to her.Knowing my daughter had plans, I also asked that the flowers be delivered before noon which did not happen. As a result my daughter did not see the flowers till midnight.

I initially tried to order two floral pieces at the same time. Because I wanted to send them to different individuals, I needed to write two different notes. This is something that simply cannot be done on your site. I ended up sending two individual arrangements with personalized notes, but in order to do so, I had to complete each order individually. Talk about labor intensive. My first order was ORDER #180238273. My second order, necessitated by my inability to send individual notes with each arrangement was ORDER #171588702. The choices you offered were beautiful; and you exceeded my expectations as far as how swiftly you were able to deliver the arrangments! Give yourself 5 stars on those items. Having to place individual orders with individual charges on my credit card was the one annoying aspect of my visit.

Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
