My family and I ordered a peace lily for pickup the following day from this delightful florist. I asked for a 2p-3p pickup time, but my schedule moved quicker than anticipated and needed to pick up the arrangement earlier than requested. I called and to my surprise, they order was already ready for pickup. I was able to retrieve it over an hour ahead of time. The arrangement was beautiful and larger than expected. It is very difficult to order flowers in a different town. I prefer to use local vendors not the big national chains. It was my brother’s new wife’s birthday (a very special birthday) and I wanted to send her something nice to welcome her to the family and celebrate her big day. So I googled and looked at reviews for florists in Columbia. Something Special Florist had all 5 star reviews and you did NOT disappoint! I recently ordered flowers for my Memaw who wasn’t home at the time of delivery. I’d already paid and Bill could’ve easily left them sitting on the porch and he’d have done his part. Instead, he called to let me know the dilemma - no one was home and the porch was in full sunlight, which would cause the flowers to wilt. I asked if he could leave them on the side of the house, which he did, and then graciously sent me a photo of the location so I could have a family member grab them. Not only did Bill go above and beyond, but the picture showed me how truly beautiful the arrangement was. Thanks Bill for being a great human being, and thank you to the florist for the lovely arrangement!

What my niece received looked nothing like what I selected from the online offerings. I even called to ensure there would be few substitutions. In the online picture multiple hydrangeas are dripping over the edge of the vase, there are multiple height adding stems (mine had two sticks), zinnias add a pop of color, baby spray roses add to the fullness in different complimentary shades. None of this was the case in what we got. I was disappointed and frankly embarrassed by what she received and the picture she took of her delivery. Won’t use again.

What an amazing experience. The gift was for my oldest daughter's birthday. She lives in a different state. So, I was a little worried that without actually seeing the plant I selected that it may not be all that great. My daughter's response made all my worries go away! I ordered these for my long distance girlfriend and they were originally supposed to go to her house. She was at work at the time of arrival and instead of leaving the flowers there, the deliverer called her asking if she was home. She told them she was at her office nearby and without hesitation, the deliverer took them to her at her work. The flowers arrived in perfect condition she was so thrilled. I am so thankful for the person who delivered these flowers. I couldn’t have had a better experience.

I think my experience was awesome, just not 5 stars because although the man was nice he said it was aggravating that he couldn’t deliver my flowers to my aunt who just had open heart surgery and got moved from icu to a regular room.. the customer service at the hospital said she wasn’t even a patient and we were going back and forth on how to get her flowers delivered, if me trying to make sure my aunt got her things was aggravating I won’t be using again.. paid a pretty good penny to have someone say that to me. I’m sorry

There a good many of the flowers that where limp and already a brown tinge to them . The other half was not even in partial bloom yet just a full unopened bud. The bouquet I received was much smaller than the one shown on the web page. At first I could not even find the lily. It was a real tiny Lilly hidden in the middle of the bouquet. I paid $80 and Flowers did not even last a week. They were drooping in 3 days after delivery. My daughter purchased flowers from a grocery store and they are still standing strong. Not happy at all. In all honesty I would like a refund.

I will say that I'm absolutely positive the arrangement was stunning. Unfortunately, I was not able to attend the function where this was delivered to. That being said, you did the funeral sprays for my husband's funeral as well as a couple of arrangements for my home for a reception following the funeral.
