The bouquet arrived in perfect condition, with fresh robust flowers, and looked exactly as I'd hoped. My mom loved the flowers so much she brought them with her to a brunch to show them off as the centerpiece. When I am ordering flowers for a distant friend or family member I always find a local brick-and-mortar florist rather than one of the "tele" florists. I have used Sherwood a few times and the flower recipients have always been thrilled. The recipient of this arrangement told us that it is one of the most beautiful arrangements she has ever seen. You can't ask for better than that. Flowers are not inexpensive these days so whatever the price range I want my money's worth and arrangement that shows that I and the florist care. I have gotten exactly that with Sherwood.

The bouquet itself is beautiful and they delivered next day, which I really appreciated. I paid $20 extra for the designers choice traditional and was expecting it to be bigger for over $100.00 seems pricey for the size. The flowers are pretty and it’s a good mixture, but also nothing exotic or fragrant that would drive up the price.

Wow! The bouquet you created for my mom was the most beautiful bouquet I've ever ordered. I chose the custom bouquet and requested certain flowers. A very nice person called to let me know they weren't able to get peonies but had the other flowers I mentioned. She asked a few extra questions to make sure the bouquet would be perfect...and it was!!! The ranunculus and daisies were accompanied by hydrangeas and other flowers as well as greenery. My mom loved the little thistle shaped greenery; she said it really added something unique to the bouquet. I am so impressed by Sherwood Florist and won't hesitate to order from them again.

Flowers perfect and very well done. Delivery later than one would expect for an order that had been put in over a week in advance. When I called at noon said they were already on truck and out for delivery but ended up someone in a an SUV delivered them in person early evening/late afternoon. Overall on price, long delay on delivery, and confusion on their part on my call, 3.5 stars but rounding to 4 stars. May or may not use them next year.

Purchased the $100 bouquet. It didn’t seem as though it contained $100 worth of flowers, nor did it look like much effort had been made in the design of the flower bouquet- just flowers placed in a vase. Colors were bright- but redundant- and the typical flower (lily) took up the most space to fill the volume, throughout. Definitely feeling disappointed, a snore of a flower arrangement and definitely not worth the price.

The flowers were not yellow, as depicted in the photo, which is what I was expecting. I love your shop and will use you in the future, however the premium bright and cheery bouquet I sent to my aunt for her birthday was slightly below my expectations from what I’ve seen from your shop. My sister has been sending me birthday and special event bouquets from you for several years and I’ve always been blown away. The bright and cheery choice was a bit of a risk. My only suggestion would be if the arrangement shown in the picture is more than just the standard, please note it. I recall reading the actual arrangement would be as close to the picture as possible, containers could be substituted. I was okay with the substitutions but the fullness of the actual bouquet; number of flowers, berries, greenery and pine cones were about half of that pictured.

I was in a pinch... Late for my sister's birthday AND she had seriously injured her knee while walking the day before! Sherwood Florist came through magnificently. I live in Boston, found Sherwood Florist online, and easily filled out their same-day-delivery order form. When they opened at 10am, local time (1pm, here in Boston), I called to make sure they'd gotten the order. The person I spoke with immediately found the order and assured me that it would go out on their next delivery. Less than an hour later, my sister had her flowers. She said they were "gorgeous," and that the box of chocolates I'd ordered to go with them were definitely making it easier for her to swallow the fact that she was spending her birthday with her leg propped up, immobilized.

I was somewhat hesitant to order from a florist that I did not know. I even left instructions for Sherwood Florist that they did not have to deliver the flowers the next day if they were busy, but they did even though they originally left me a voice-mail stating that they were going to deliver the flowers the second day. Sherwood Florist brought their A-game, and the Winter Romance bouquet was even more beautiful than shown on their website. It brought tears to my friend, who was the recipient and is battling cancer. We ordered from the east coast, which was evident was from my credit card billing information. The delivery address for the flowers was in Fair Oaks. That combination could have been an opportunity for an unscrupulous florist to skimp on the flowers. That was not the case. We ordered a premium selection of flowers and that is exactly what was delivered. According to the recipient and the photo they sent, the arrangement was absolutely beautiful. It's beautiful. I love the combination and I actually really love how many leaves there are in this bouquet (not just flowers). The little succulent was a pleasant surprise as well! Even better was the service -- I was not home to receive it so they kept in contact with my boyfriend to make sure that it got delivered properly and would not just be left out in the street.

Sherwood Florist is the absolute best Florist in Northern California. I called them at 11 AM and they had it delivered by 1 PM and it was the absolute most beautiful arrangement I’ve ever purchased and if my words are enough it made my girlfriend cry. Very disappointed to learn that the flowers were not delivered on 11/17/18 to the cemetery as promised, because the "cemetery office was closed." I ordered the flowers on 11/15 and felt that the florist could have contacted the cemetery on Friday to assure delivery to the grave of my nephew, as promised, which has been done for 19 years now by other florists. Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist.
Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received
cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone.
Florists that offer same-day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in
their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the
following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
