Sending Smiles began with a couple friends attempting to provide for their families in a way that brought joy into the lives of the people they served. We noticed that when we delivered flowers, our clients always had a smile on their face. Whether they had been having a bad day, were preparing to celebrate, or hoped to comfort a loved one, our flowers were able to brighten their day. The ability to serve our community in a way that exclusively improves the lives of everyone we serve was an opportunity that we could not pass up. Realizing the positive impact that we are able to have in the lives of each and every customer, we decided to name our organization Sending Smiles. Since then, we have met with local schools, businesses, churches and families to create services which build the community. In some instances, the florists’ photo may represent an overall theme or look and include a one-of-a-kind vase which cannot be exactly replicated. Although the actual bouquet may not precisely match the photo, its temperament will. Occasionally, substitutions of flowers or containers happen due to weather, seasonality and market conditions which may affect availability. If this is the case with the gift you've selected, the local florist will ensure that the style, theme and color scheme of your arrangement is preserved and will only substitute items of equal or higher value.
Every gift ordered through BloomNation is personally hand-delivered by the local florist. Each local florist sets their own delivery area and fee.
Most florists offer same-day hand delivery, but may have different order received cut-off times for same-day delivery that are based off of the recipient’s time zone. Florists that offer same day delivery display their same-day delivery cut-off time in their store detail section. Orders received after that time may be delivered the following day. Please note some florists may not make deliveries on Sunday.
To request a specific delivery time, please type it into the Special Instructions field during checkout. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences. Before major holidays, we recommend that you place your orders at least five days in advance.
